The early 13th century was a fateful time
for the people of Asia and Europe.

The great Muhammad Shah of Khorezm,
who ruled over Central Asia,

Azerbaijan, Iran, Afghanistan,
parts of Kazakhstan and more,

was about to declare war on Baghdad.

While trying to gain absolute power
over the Muslim world,

he failed to see the true threat
lurking in the Mongolian steppes.

After seven years of service
in Genghis Khan's army,

Unzhu, a Kipchak scout,
has returned to Khorezm...

I shall speak only in Kairkhan's presence.

Only if the Great Aldiyar agrees.

PART ONE: THE SCOUT
