>> Steffy: Hey, big brother.

>> Thomas: Hey.

Uh...

How did everything go the other day?

>> Steffy: It was good.

Liam's first night back at the house went well.

>> Thomas: Really?

>> Steffy: Yeah.

He stayed in the guest room.

But he's here, okay?

>> Thomas: Where he's gonna stay.

>> Steffy: What, you see the future now?

>> Thomas: I can see how much you love each other,

how much you love those girls.

You're gonna raise them together.

>> Steffy: And what about you?

Are you and Hope gonna be raising Douglas together?

>> Thomas: Well, if it was up to me, we already would be.

>> Hope: [ Sighs ] >> Liam: She didn't make it.

>> Hope: [ Crying ] No!

No! [ Sobbing ] I have to give the children the

future that they deserve.

And I -- I need to end our marriage,

>> Wyatt: Hey, you should probably put a -- a hoodie in

your bag.

It might get cold down at the beach later.

>> Flo: Are you worried that I'll steal one of yours?

>> Wyatt: I never did get my favorite t-shirt back,

by the way.

>> Flo: You gave that to me!

>> Wyatt: I did -- You took that out of my drawer.

>> Flo: No, I did not.

>> Wyatt: Yes, you -- Fine.

Maybe Steffy has something you can borrow.

>> Flo: Steffy?

>> Wyatt: Yeah, we're -- we're going down to her place.

>> Flo: When you said the beach, I thought you just meant we were

gonna go to your house.

>> Wyatt: I-I know you haven't been down to Steffy's place

since the adoption, and you -- and you haven't seen Phoebe,

I don't know.

I thought it might be good for you.

>> Flo: I just, um...

I just don't know if I was prepared for that today,

you know?

>> Ridge: [ Groans ] >> Brooke: Ohh.

>> Ridge: I think you're gonna have plenty of chances for that.

>> Brooke: Yeah?

>> Ridge: Mm-hmm.

>> Brooke: So the smile you have on your face, that's permanent?

>> Ridge: Well, if Thomas keeps stepping up, then it could be,

[ Dialing ] [ Cellphone rings ]

>> Hope: Hey, Thomas.

>> Thomas: Hey, Hope. Uh...

I need you.

Can you come into the office?

>> Hope: Is something wrong?

>> Thomas: If I say there is, will it get you here right away?

>> Hope: Heh... Okay.

Sounds important.

>> Thomas: Well, it is.

I-I think I'm on the verge of something.

Something that could have a monumental impact on everything

for the better.

>> Hope: Well, now I'm too curious to stay away.

>> Thomas: See you soon.

[ Cellphone beeps ] ♪♪

>> Steffy: The girls still asleep?

>> Liam: Yeah.

You know, I-I thought I heard Kelly, but, um, I guess not.

>> Steffy: You know you, uh, don't need an excuse to

peek in on them, right?

>> Liam: Oh.

Drinks in the coolers?

>> Steffy: Uh, yeah. Yeah.

Already done.

Hey, should we have asked Bill and Katie to join us on our

little picnic?

Because he was talking about how much he wants to spend time with

the girls, and -- >> Liam: Yeah. Uh...

Funny you say that.

I was actually talking to Wyatt earlier, and I-I invited him.

>> Steffy: Oh, yeah.

That'd be nice to see him.

>> Wyatt: It's okay?

>> Steffy: Yeah.

>> Liam: And I think he's gonna bring Flo, just 'cause they're

dating, and he thought it might be good for her, so --

Is -- is it okay she's invited?

>> Wyatt: I-I know I kind of sprung this on you last-minute,

but it's because I think that it's a good idea.

Look, when Phoebe comes up in conversation, you get...

I don't know.

You get quiet and -- and internal and everything, and...

Look, back when the adoption was happening, I remember Steffy

saying something about being open to you being a part of

Phoebe's life, right?

>> Flo: Yeah.

>> Wyatt: And -- and -- And now that you're a Logan and

you're working at Forrester and we're dating, I mean, obviously

we're gonna be spending a lot of time with Steffy and her family.

So... I don't know.

It might be good for you to get to know them better.

>> Flo: I just thought it was gonna be, you know, the

two of us having a beach day.

>> Wyatt: Yeah.

>> Flo: Look, honestly, I -- I really think that seeing

Phoebe might just bring up a lot of things that no one's really

ready to deal with.

>> Brooke: So, Thomas did something to impress you?

>> Ridge: Yeah.

I appreciate the time he's putting in with

Hope For The Future, and the way he's raising Douglas.

He's moving forward, and that is -- that's new for him.

>> Brooke: He is focused.

>> Ridge: He knows what he wants.

And not just for himself, but for us.

He's ready to take on a leadership role.

And I-I think he should.

I think it's about time.

>> Thomas: I mean, you know I've been working really hard on

Hope For The Future.

Uh, infusing it with new energy, bringing your spirit and your

vision into the collection.

>> Hope: Heh. I've -- I've been very pleased

with your designs.

>> Thomas: Well, I hope you like this one even more.

I made a prototype.

>> Hope: Heh...

Are we waiting on a model?

>> Thomas: She just arrived.

>> Hope: [ Inhales ] >> Thomas: Would you try it on?

I really put my heart into it.

>> Steffy: So, Flo's coming.

>> Liam: Yeah. Sorry, I -- I spaced.

I should have checked in with you about that.

But, um...

I just thought, you speak of her so highly, uh, that, if she

wanted to come, you would be psyched about it.

>> Steffy: Y-yeah, of course.

I'm just a little surprised.

You know, it's been a few months since the adoption, and

she's never asked to see Phoebe.

Though I am open to it.

I mean, it's gonna be good, considering we're gonna be in

each other's lives.

I just...

I wonder how she feels about it.

>> Wyatt: I mean, it's bound to happen eventually,

don't you think?

>> Flo: [ Sighs ] Right.

I just -- I just didn't think it was gonna happen today.

>> Wyatt: Okay, well, if you don't want to go,

I-I can call Liam and -- and tell him we -- we're just

not up to it.

>> Flo: Does Steffy know that I'm invited?

>> Wyatt: Yeah.

>> Flo: Yeah?

>> Wyatt: Yeah, I mean, I as-- I assume so.

Am I -- am I missing something here, Flo?

Like, I thought you and Steffy, like, hit it off, and

everything really clicked and -- and all that.

>> Flo: We did. Yeah.

I mean, she -- she's great.

I got really good vibes from her and everything.

>> Wyatt: Yeah.

Well, I'm sure she feels the same way about you, right?

Like, you're Phoebe's birth mom.

You know, you -- you gave Kelly a little sister and made their

family complete.

Now, wouldn't it be great if you could just -- if you

could see for yourself what -- what you made possible for them?

>> Flo: I mean, everyone does say how great of a mom she is,

and how happy they all are.

>> Wyatt: Yeah.

And now that Liam's back, I mean, that's great for Kelly

and Phoebe and -- and -- >> Flo: Y-you're right.

You're right. Yeah.

I mean, now that Liam's back, he can be with the girls, and

I guess that's a good thing, and Phoebe's in a good place,

and she's safe...

>> Wyatt: Yeah.

>> Flo: But, you know, I just -- I just can't help thinking about

the future and her future and how everything is gonna work

out, and...

>> Wyatt: Flo.

>> Flo: Maybe it -- Maybe it would be good for me to

go there, you know?

>> Wyatt: Yeah.

>> Flo: See how good Phoebe's life really is.

>> Brooke: Here you go.

>> Ridge: All right. Thank you.

>> Brooke: I am sympathetic to Thomas.

He has gone through some horrible experiences.

But he's still there for Douglas, and he is doing amazing

things at Hope For The Future.

But on another level, on a personal level,

he's really latched onto Hope.

>> Ridge: [ Snorts ] >> Brooke: Ever since he came to

L.A., he's really focused on her, Ridge.

And it worries me.

It's a little obsessive.

>> Ridge: So, you think that the feelings that Thomas has

for Hope are unhealthy?

>> Hope: You made this for me?

>> Thomas: Heh.

Well, I couldn't imagine anyone else wearing it for the first

time.

>> Hope: Uh, I'm not sure I'll do it justice.

[ Sighs ] >> Thomas: Oh, you -- you do.

>> Hope: Yeah?

>> Thomas: Yeah.

>> Hope: Uh, I couldn't do the clasp in the back.

>> Thomas: Oh, let me.

Like, she's literally the reason that Phoebe's gonna grow up

now with a big sister and an amazing mom.

[ Knock on door ] >> Steffy: [ Sighs ]

>> Wyatt: [ Smooches ] Hi.

>> Steffy: Hi!

>> Flo: Thanks for having me.

>> Steffy: Oh, of course.

[ Clears throat ] >> Steffy: The last time you

were here was, uh, before the adoption.

>> Liam: Yeah.

Yeah, so the girls could meet.

>> Steffy: Yeah.

>> Flo: Are they, um...

Are they here?

>> Liam: Uh, nap time.

>> Steffy: Yeah, they'll be up soon.

But they've gotten so big.

So much has happened since the last time you saw them.

Phoebe has changed our lives.

She is this precious, beautiful part of our family.

>> Flo: It's really nice to know that.

I'm happy that she's, um, found such a loving family

to live with.

>> Hope: Thank you, Thomas.

This is exactly what I needed.

>> Thomas: For your collection?

>> Hope: And in life.

Excitement for the future.

And it's -- it's exactly how I feel when I'm with Douglas.

And I just -- I hope you know how important he is to me.

I was just with my father, and we had a really good talk.

he has come back, has he been spoiling those girls?

Dad was here earlier.

[ Phoebe cries ] >> Steffy: Oh, that's Phoebe.

Would you like to see her?

>> Flo: Yeah. Yeah.

>> Liam: I'll go get her.

>> Steffy: Okay.

>> Wyatt: You, uh -- You sure you're up for this?

>> Steffy: If you aren't, I can call Amelia.

She can watch the girls while we go down to the beach.

It's not a problem.

>> Flo: No, no, no.

I just, um...

I mean, I'm -- I'm a little nervous, but it's only because

I -- I just really want what's best for her.

Her well-being is really important to me.

>> Liam: Hey.

>> Steffy: [ Chuckles ] >> Liam: Hi, everybody.

>> Steffy: She's never been happier.

>> Flo: She really is beautiful.

>> Liam: Yeah, she is.

[ Gasps ] And we can't thank you enough

for bringing her into our lives.

I promise you, Flo, I'm gonna look after her like

she's my own.

>> Steffy: Liam is an amazing father to both girls.

Phoebe and Kelly are very lucky.

>> Liam: Yeah.

>> Steffy: And so I am I.

To have him here.

You don't have to worry.

Phoebe has the life and family you've always wanted for her.

Flo, are you all right?

>> Ridge: Thomas admires Hope.

He's grateful for the way that she's bonded with Douglas.

>> Brooke: [ Sighs ] I think it's more than that.

Don't get me wrong -- I'm not accusing your son

of anything.

But we both know that he's had some issues in the past.

>> Ridge: Issues that were dealt with.

>> Brooke: But now he seems to be focused and fixated on Hope.

Look, they've both been through some very painful moments,

and -- >> Ridge: Yes, they have.

And now they can help each other.

>> Brooke: That would be great.

I wish that they would.

And if they were just friends, then I don't think we would be

having this conversation.

But I can't ignore what I see, Ridge.

It's not healthy.

And Hope is in a very vulnerable situation.

>> Thomas: Okay, you weren't expecting that.

>> Hope: Uh, we were talking about work, the line.

>> Thomas: Yeah.

Whenever I'm around you, I, heh, get the urge to put my arms

around you and show you how I feel.

Remember, I-I have that engagement ring, and I'm

ready to give it to you whenever you are.

>> Hope: Thomas, I've explained.

>> Thomas: [ Sighs ] You're not ready.

>> Hope: And I'm not sure what "ready" will look like.

If there will be a day when I wake up and don't think of Beth,

or -- or I go to sleep and don't wonder how my life would have

been if she were still here.

>> Thomas: But you could have a new life.

It won't be the same.

But it can be good.

Douglas and I, w-we'll be here for you.

That's why I'm doing this.

[ Scoffs ] I -- I know I might come on strong.

I might be moving too fast, all right?

I make mistakes.

I'm not perfect.

And I'm probably gonna make a few more.

[ Sighs ] But loving you, that's not

one of them.

Wanting a life with you isn't wrong.

I don't want to hurt you.

You know that, right?

>> Hope: Thomas...

You have been so encouraging and so positive.
