her, went onto the porch to call her in

Went into the other room for not even 30

Next time I look out, I don't see her.

to the store on the corner and, you

know, getting candy, and she'll be right

A while later, I can't find her, and the
neighbors helped. We scoured the area.

Everybody was so good.

I mean, just no luck.

The way that the investigation has gone
with Ashley is we now believe it's a

stranger abduction. It was a stranger
abduction.

We've gone through the process of
dealing with family and friends.

the information we have and the way the
investigation has moved, it's now

leaning that Ashley was abducted by a
stranger.

A fairly bold abduction. A fairly bold
abduction. No, it's not about morality.

It's a crapshoot.

I mean, how many people die every day?

You know, in every conceivable possible
way.

Tough luck. Like, I mean, that's, you
know, that's what happens.

You've got small thoughts here and there

about kind of like a revenge fantasy.
But, you know, I found that, you know,

those kind of thoughts just lead to

against it. Certainly it has happened,
