We've got a cake

that I know you guys are going to love.

We've got to make a cake for Willie Nelson.

Willie Nelson?! Willie Nelson. You like him, huh?

I've been a big fan for a long time. I want a picture with him.

I would say probably 'To All The Girls I've Loved Before'.

There's something about that. Yeah. He's turning 80.

I mean, are you kidding me? Willie Nelson?

He's a legend.

I mean, the guy's been in the Country Music Hall of Fame

before some of my decorators were born.

It's his 80th birthday

and his daughter Amy came in to order the cake.

So we were thinking that it might be cool

to replicate the guitar.

You know, Trigger is his...

he's like my brother, I guess. Trigger?

Trigger is my dad's guitar... Oh, I didn't know that.

...that he's had since, I think, 1974.

It's a classical guitar that he played with a pick

so it doesn't have a pick guard, so over the years

it's worn this really interesting hole.

There's a bunch of names inscribed all over his guitar and everything.

And it's called Trigger? Yeah, Trigger, yeah. OK.

She tells me they have a fundraiser and concert at the Hard Rock

to celebrate Willie Nelson's 80th birthday.

We're going to get to meet Willie,

we're going to get to hang out, see the concert,

and I'm like, 'Hello!'

His most prized possession

is his guitar.

He's got the same guitar for years.

They want the guitar to actually have smoke

coming out of the little drum hole.

What do you call that? That'ssoundhole.

I don't know what the real name is.

What I'm thinking of doing is,

let's build a box so it looks like it's a nice platform.

It'll give the cake more height,

put the smoke machine in here

and then just have a tube going into here

where the connection point is.

All right, so we're going to feed it through the cake

up to the sound hole? Well, yeah. Ithinkthatwouldbegood.

Most of the times when you do an instrument cake,

you could do a guitar cake laying down,

but for Willie we're going to do this thing standing up,

kind of like a trophy.

I mean, it's 40 years that he played this guitar...

...and you really want to be able to see all the details.

As long as that touches the bottom. Go up, go up, go up.

It's definitely tougher to do it this way...

Pull a little more hose through.

...but it's going to look really good

and I can't wait to see the look on Willie Nelson's face

when Trigger starts puffing smoke.

So this week Momma comes home from Israel.

I hope everything goes as planned

cos we've got something else going on this week

that I don't want her to miss.

It's my daughter Sofia's 10th birthday.

And to be honest with you, she's such a good kid, she's ten years old.

I'm so excited but,

watching my little princess grow up is a little tough for me.

She's Daddy's little girl.

I don't only want to give my daughter a special cake for her birthday,

but I want to give her something cos you know what, she is growing up

and there's one thing that she's been asking and begging for.

I'm getting her a phone.

She's ready for a phone. I don't feel comfortable getting her a phone yet.

Why? First of all, she's only ten. OK.

She's never anywhere by herself.

I worry about - God forbid - who you're texting,

who you're emailing. You can check all that stuff.

I don't even know how to use it myself. I'll teach you how to do it.

I don't know. I'll think about it but if I do give in,

there's going to be a list of rules and regulations

that you're going to have to follow and be on the same page as me.

so we're going to put some things in there to, kind of like, kid Willie.

pretzels and different things mixed in with fudge.

So all around the base of the cake

we're doing murals of, like, Willie's first concert

cos he's, like, so old, so we've got Willie playing for some cavemen.

Just some fun stuff like that.

we're making an exact replica of his guitar, Trigger.

It's his main guitar and he's been playing it for, like, 40 years.

This guitar is shredded, man.

So I really want to make Willie's guitar authentic,

I mean, with the hole, all the scratches...

I think that guitar is going to last just as long as he does.

so we're going to ice the cake in pink fondant

and then we're going to do a cheetah pattern in black.

I heard a rumour

We did this folding flower technique that was, like, so awesome.

And we're going to cover it with make-up and lipstick.

It's going to be such a girly-girl, pretty cake.

At the end of the day there's not a ten-year-old girl who wouldn't go nuts over this cake,

especially my little bear, Sofia.

it's kind of tricky because it's dark and narrow

to get the screw gun in

I can't tell if what I saw was one of the holes

or just a chunk of chocolate.

If I can't get this pipe to catch the board,

we're screwed.

You know, I wanted to go deliver this Willie Nelson cake

but there's one little problem.

My wife is being honoured by the Make A Wish Foundation

and unfortunately, Willie,

the wife comes first.

The cake is looking great.

I mean, that guitar looks so authentic,

he might think it's Trigger and try to play it.

Like a glove.

It looks good.

We've got to hook up the fog machine underneath and then we're done.

cos at the end of the day, this thing looks like a real guitar.
