Because Jake does have

a bromance with Alex,

and I can't lie. I get jealous at times.

being an ally to Jake over me.

you're not dead in the game yet.

You're heading there.

It's just hit after hit after hit.

It's just been tough, Jeff,

to lose every single day, it seems like.

The tribe has spoken.

Crazy that people can make it six days into the game

and, like, have no fear of going home or anything.

We're just, like, so wounded.

We have not been able to catch a break.

And there's always these seasons of bad tribes on Survivor.

You never want to be on that tribe,

and that's where we are right now.

We just got to win.

Right now, like, we're at the lowest of the low

- that you could be on this game. - Yeah.

And think about it, like,

- there's just so few of us left. - Yeah.

We got nothing.

No fire. We're cold, we're wet, we're hungry.

This is the hard part now.

We're down to our core four.

So we got myself, Alex,

Jeremiah and Sophi.

We're all just depleted.

We don't have fire. We have no food.

We have no fishing supplies.

Oh, my God.

Morale is down.

- We're literally in the Stone Age. - Oh, I know. I know.

However, we have a new team,

and we don't have any dead weight holding us back now.

It's a new day today,

and it's time to go.

This is the first one-on-one time

that I've had with you in a long time.

I know. It's so nice.

In my world,

- we're all so happy, the four of us, but... - Yeah.

The Kele tribe is down to the core four alliance.

My two main allies are Jeremiah and Jake.

If we were to lose the next challenge,

one of us is gonna have to go home.

And so it would force us

to look at each other

and eat one of our own.

Our situation, right now, is complicated

because Alex has an idol.

Having an idol just adds

- so much extra pressure. - Yeah.

Yeah.

We lost the marooning.

We lost the two immunity challenges.

We lost the tribe supplies.

We lost the journey.

You know, we got nothing to show for it.

It's, like, are we gonna catch a break in this game?

I don't know. It's horrible.

- ...'cause we ran out of time last time. - Oh, yeah. Thank you.

We need our superpower.

When my mom's doing my hair, it's, like, yank, yank, yank.

Is that me right now?

Hina has been on such a winning streak.

We haven't

gone to Tribal. None of us have our torches yet.

None of us have casted a vote.

- All right. - Thank you.

I still have to make sure you look good.

When you

have comfort, when you have food in your belly,

it's easy for us to let our guards down

and create those personal connections.

And I truly think that everybody here loves everybody here.

Can I, like, say something really quick?

-Yeah. -I think

we need to find our Beware Advantage

- on our island. -I'm down for that.

So, I-I know that it's usually, like, a sneaky thing,

- I agree. - but it's, like, I think that

one of us should have

- the Beware Advantage, like, - I think so.

- by the end of the day. -Yeah.

Morale is great right now,

but we are sticking together so much

that it's a little bit annoying.

I guess the thought is, you know,

we're gonna share this idol.

So we agree to all do an idol search together,

but I want to find out

what Steven's thoughts are on everything, because

it's important to have people on your side.

How do you want to approach scanning?

I'm thinking five,

ten steps ahead in the game.

So I did pull in Steven to help me find the idol,

just so we can make sure it ends up in the right hands.

How do y'all want to split, like, up?

- Like, how do y'all want to split the island? -Maybe, like...

- Pairs, maybe? -Split it, or just go together or pairs?

- Yeah. Two-two-two, or three and three. -Could be pairs.

Group searching is just one big facade,

and I think the smart players understand that.

And that's why, for me, personally,

I'm searching with a lot of urgency

because I want that idol in my pocket.

But if I can't find it,

I want it in my closest ally's pocket, which is MC.

I'm looking at trees

and looking down at the roots.

I'm checking trees that I feel look suspicious.

I don't know why they look suspicious.

There's, like, zero

method to the madness.

It's just madness.

I'm digging through, I'm digging through.

I turn around, and right in front of my eyes

is a tree with a hole in it.

There's some liquid in the hole, and then the Beware Advantage

is just sitting right there in front of my eyes.

This is amazing.

Like, I'm checking off

my Survivor bucket list.

I don't know why I went idol hunting

without wearing any pants, but I had to just

put it in my underwear,

which I was not happy about

because I don't know what kind of liquid that was.

Nice.

The only person I decide

to share this with is Steven.

Showing somebody that you have an advantage,

that you have no vote, potentially,

that's how you tell them,

"I'm in this with you. I trust you.

I'm hoping that you're in it in the same way as me."

Got it, got it.

This means Jeff has some work cut out for me.

I don't have a vote until our tribe loses,

and then I'll have to

do what I need to do,

find whatever the next steps are

so I can get my idol and my vote back.

It feels like everything

that I've come here for, so far, I'm getting.

And I want to keep that momentum going.

Six days in, the Uli tribe is all about

camaraderie, togetherness,

and as my other tribemates

might describe it, vibes.

We're a big-time vibes camp.

We all love each other.

However, there is a game happening, and...

within the six, there's actually a core four,

which is myself, Shannon, Savannah and Rizo.

And so both Sage and Jawan are outside of the bubble.

It's not a personal thing, but

this isn't a game where six people get to go to the end

without some fractures.

It's so hard 'cause, like, I love the kumbaya.

Yeah.

But it also makes you...

It's like, "Wait, is...

"is anybody saying something, you know,

- that they're not saying to me?" - Yeah.

- Like, it's just, like, it's... "Is it too good to be true?" - Yeah. Honestly...

- I haven't heard your name, but also, - Okay.

that's why I'm like, "Is it me?"

- You know? But... - That's what, that's what I'm saying.

- It's, like, I haven't heard anyone's name, so I'm, like... - Yeah.

There is a huge part of me

that's just a little bit nervous

about where I stand in this tribe.

Because I see all of them

kind of, individually, building those connections

and building those relationships.

Just noticing, like, who kind of hangs back

when we're going on walks.

Like, "Hey, we're just gonna check out this place over here."

Like, everyone's doing it together.

No one's really doing it with me.

How are you feeling? Do you feel okay?

I feel okay.

The only thing is, like, because we're in such a good spot,

it's-it's just so hard to read, like, even the dynamics here.

I know.

So I'm-I'm trying not to, like,

get too hyper-focused in on that.

- But, like, it is a game. And so... - For sure.

You know, it just kind of gets you worried, so...

Being here, on Survivor, brings me back to childhood

and just always being that friend on the outs.

I had this thing growing up where, like,

every "best friend" I had, like,

would eventually ghost me.

And so that happened pretty much every grade level.

And, like, by the time, like, senior year hit,

I was eating lunch in my car.

Like, I wasn't really,

I wasn't letting myself get close to people,

because, like, you just never know

when they're gonna, uh, leave you.

What I will say, in terms of my motivational advice,

- is don't overthink it. - Mm-hmm.

Everything's gonna work out.

No, I agree.

That's why-- I'm trying to lean into that.

The reality is,

at some point, somebody's gonna have to go home,

which makes me nervous.

So I want to talk to Shannon.

She seems to be in a power position.

So I want to know where her head's at in the game.

- Yeah. - My concern is,

I feel like she's not disclosing everything.

- Right. - Like, that's okay. Like...

- Right. - You're-- It's--

- You're allowed to keep stuff close to your chest. - Yeah.

So I took the risk,

and I-I kind of threw out Savannah's name.

Savannah is a huge threat.

She is strong.

She is determined.

She is charismatic.

And she's, like, really getting close with at least Rizo.

Maybe-maybe Nate. I don't know.

Um, so, like, she's got numbers on her side.

- I just don't know. - Yeah.

I don't, like, this is not coming from a paranoid place.

- This is coming from a... - What your observations say.

I'm observing things.

I want to share it with somebody else

- to get, like, a different perspective. - Totally.

I really do

believe Sage trusts me.

And...

when I'm with Sage, she's looking right in my eyes.

It feels like we kind of have this low-key

soul sister

relationship kind of budding, but...

right now, Savannah is my number one.

So it was very minor, but Sage came up to me

and was just like,

"You know, I feel like Savannah

- and Rizo are really close." - Oh, really?

- Like, something like that, you know? - Oh.

She was just like, "I feel like they just keep

- having quiet conversations." And so... - So weird.

Sage is acting like she has my back,

and then I come to find out she's telling Shannon

that I talk to Rizo quietly.

We're all

talking to each other quietly.

So I don't understand

why I'm the one getting targeted.

If you hadn't told me

that she was saying this stuff about me,

- Uh-huh. - I would not have picked up on it.

And so I just say that to warn you,

- if she's capable of saying stuff about me, - Yeah. Yeah.

- she's capable of saying stuff about all of us. - Yeah.

Yeah, no, I agree.

If I wanted to go to my alliance,

my majority alliance, right now,

and say, "Hey, we need to get Sage out

"because she's not as loyal as you guys think,

"because, hello,

she's literally stabbing me in the back right now,"

I could do it.

Whenever I, uh, start to feel a little bit weak

or this game's hard,

I walk down the beach to think.

My wife's about to give birth, any minute now.

It could be this exact moment.

And I feel terrible for not being there,

but a million bucks

would give my son the life that he deserves,

and more than the life that he deserves,

and-and... makes me

being here worth it.

Kind of tastes like a pumpkin

and a banana combined.

Oh, man.

Your face. I can't.

Yeah, it doesn't taste great,

but it-it will give us something.

I think I'm trying too hard to taste it.

Uh, just swallow.

Actually, you don't even need to chew it really, okay?

I'm, like, trying to turn off my taste buds.

I was just sitting here minding my own business,

and it came up and just, like, latched on to me.

Yeah, it was on me.

I don't know.

It was on the bottom of my foot.

Like, it felt like something, but...

That's so crazy.

That's so scary.

I got to figure out if, like, this is bad or not.

Jake says that he got bitten by a snake.

You come on Survivor,

it's this crazy atmosphere,

but you never picture

that you're gonna get bit by a snake.

- Ooh! -For everyone at home

who thinks that we're just living at some resort,

that's not true at all.

We are in the forest.

We are in the jungle.

Like, this is real out here.

There's a red mark there,

but that's kind of, like, where it was.

And I just felt, like, a nibble,

and then I just got scared.

Uh-huh.

It's starting to hurt there, too.

Okay.

So, we have a safety guide at camp that talks about

what we can eat, what we can't eat,

dangerous animals,

things to look out for.

And so I went to the book, and I open it up.

And there it is, dangerous land animals,

the black and white banded sea snake.

I immediately freak out.

This is a highly venomous snake.

I'm worried about his life, at this point.

I'm scared out of my mind,

but I can't scare Jake.

I have to stay composed for Jake

because if I'm freaking out,

then, of course, he's gonna

be freaking out. This is his life on the line.

I'm worried about him. I'm scared

that maybe he won't make it home to see his kid.

Maybe this is gonna be the last time

I get to see him.

Oh, no.

A poisonous

snake bite?

Like, I don't think it sound--

I don't think it's good.

They're checking to see how serious it is,

if they can treat him,

and if he can continue in this game.

I'm hoping the best for him.

Is he breathing?

Paolo, is he breathing?

- Yeah. - Yeah? Okay.

He's upright. He's aware. He's upright.

All right.

What we need you to do is lie down on here right away.

Okay?

Okay. We're just gonna lay you flat.

We're gonna get some oxygen on you.

I know. We're gonna take good care of you.

This is Jake.

He has a bitten foot.

He's been bitten by a sea krait,

approximately 45 minutes ago, now.

We've got a sack of 99 on 100% oxygen.

Got a pulse rate of 85.

Right foot.

Jake, I'm here with you, buddy. It's Probst.

Okay.

No, there's no sorries.

This one is just to get some fluids in him.

We need a full set of observations.

You're in really good hands.

You have a full-on medical team here.

Little scratch.

And, Barry, the only reason

you're taking all these precautions is...

It's a highly toxic, venomous snake,

so we have to treat it as if worst possible scenario.

So is part of what Jake's feeling, the pain from the bite,

- also, is it some adrenaline of fear? - Yeah.

Yeah, it's a very common thing

that people get from bites,

um, from snakes, even nonpoisonous snake.

The-the, sort of, the psychological effect

- Right. - can actually have the same impact.

So, Jake, Dr. Barry's saying

most times there is no venom.

Yeah, but the precaution is, in case there is,

we're gonna treat this as though it is a venomous bite.

So I know you're feeling probably a lot of anxiety

because there's so much happening.

It's because we're taking every precaution for you, all right?

So try to relax if you can and let them do what they're doing.

All right? Okay.

Unprecedented moment.

We've never had anything like this happen,

where Jake had a sea krait bite,

our team immediately got him on a boat.

This is our medical center at base camp.

It's always here.

Jake is obviously emotionally upset, as anybody would be,

but felt like we should bring you

inside this, so you really know what's happening

and can see that we are

absolutely focused on taking care of him.

All right, lift your head up for me, Jake.

Here we go.

How's that?

- A bit better? Yeah? - Yeah.

Just gonna pop some more stickies across your chest,

so we can have a bit of a better look at your heart, okay?

All right, so, Barry,

give me an update in terms of things from this standpoint.

You would know, immediately,

if it was a venomous bite, if he showed signs.

Which he hasn't yet.

So there could be a scenario where

he did not have venom in the bite,

but still not be okay to return to the game

because you wouldn't be comfortable.

We still have to think, he's had five days of no food,

five days of limited water,

- and he's had an intensely psychological experience. - Yeah.

This is just something else.

Mm.

Now, it's just a waiting game,

- where it's, like, we have no info. -Yeah.

The only thing that worries me is that it's on his foot.

- So, like... -How do you run on a balance beam?

Are you allowed to, like,

be on your feet when you're bit by a venomous snake?

Oh, my gosh.

Has anyone been

- bit by a, like... -I don't think so.

Oh, my God.

What? Like, what?

Like, how?

Jake is the closest thing to a big brother

that I've ever had.

He's given me that shoulder to cry on.

He's given me the hugs when I needed it.

And so him getting hurt is horrible.

And then all I can think about is his...

his wife, who's already back at home alone.

Um...

Sorry.

Oh, God.

It's just insane.

- Way to kick us when we're already down. - Yeah.

All these things go through my head, like,

"What's gonna happen?

What does this mean for us?"

All I could do

is pray that he's okay,

because I need him in this game.

I need him, and I want him to be okay for his family.

All good. 98% off oxygen.

So that's just on him there

and has been for about five, ten minutes.

And the pulse didn't go up when he sat up?

- Mm-mmm. - Brilliant.

- No, heart rate's been quite steady, actually. - Feeling good.

-Good. And... - Well, my foot's sore, but...

Your foot's sore?

- Yeah. -I was telling her, when I bend my toes,

- I'm getting a pain through my foot. - Yeah.

Any pain in your calf at all?

No, I don't think so.

Anything if I do that?

-Nothing, no. - No?

Just open your eyes for me.

That's it. So no problems opening your eyes?

- No. - No? Okay, good.

Wow, you look a lot better.

I feel...

a little bit better.

Yeah.

So, let's recap.

I don't even know if you remember what happened,

but you had a lot of attention for the last...

- There was a lot going on. Yeah. - Yeah.

But you seem to be in a lot better shape,

so I just want to talk openly amongst the three of us. Yes.

So just give us a quick recap,

just for Jake, in case he wasn't able to take it all in.

So around about 20 to 9:00 this morning,

you got a sea krait bite

underneath your right foot.

And, fortunately,

you got a dry bite,

which is a bite with no venom in it,

which was very, very reassuring.

So here's the big question.

Given what he's just been through

physically and emotionally...

...would you feel comfortable

sending him back into the environment?

- You know where I'm going, Jake. - Yes, sir.

You're not gonna have food.

You're not gonna have water.

- You don't have fire. - That's why I'm here.

Would you feel comfortable sending him back

into the environment that Survivor offers?

No.

There are too many uncontrolled variables there, Jake,

and we need to protect you.

And you want to be a father for your unborn child,

and we need to protect that.

I'm sorry.

Jake, I know this is a vulnerable spot to be in.

You're in a Survivor hospital.

You've gone through something traumatic,

and now you're finding out that your dream is being

cut short through no fault of your own.

But you understand the concern is,

just for perspective,

Dr. Barry, if you could, right now,

you would be giving him nutrients.

- Yeah. - You want him to have some food.

- You want air-conditioning. - Yeah.

- You want full-time care. - Yeah.

There's no way, Jake,

even in the next 48 hours,

we could put you back out

into such an unforgiving situation

as Survivor.

And for something like this to pull me out of the game,

it's just not my fault,

and I know I could win this show.

Just so you know what's gonna happen,

we have a challenge scheduled today,

so your tribe is now gonna be down to three tribe members.

at the new Kele tribe.

And as you can see,

Jake is not with this tribe at the moment, either.

I will explain what happened.

This morning at Kele's camp,

Jake was in the water, got bitten by a sea krait.

That is a very venomous snake.

Just for a little perspective,

ten times more dangerous than a rattlesnake bite.

Oh, my God.

So, serious situation.

He immediately was put on a boat,

taken to base camp and our medical center,

where it was all hands on deck.

Very scary situation.

I'm happy to say Jake is okay.

He's doing really well right now.

He's in great shape.

And for a little perspective with the sea krait,

it's really rare for their bites to have venom.

They usually just want you to go away.

But...

it took a physical toll and an emotional toll.

He's an expectant father.

You know, there was a lot going through his head.

So there was no way that our medical team

could even consider putting him back into the game

with no food, no fire,

these conditions.

So we made the only decision we could, which is

to pull Jake from the game.

I want to reassure all of you.

We've been shooting in these waters right here for ten years.

We have a lot of Fijians on our crew

that are born and raised here.

We talked to everybody this morning when this happened.

We don't have a crew member

that knows anybody that's been bitten by a sea krait.

It's extremely rare.

I know it happened, in the same way

that you can get struck by lightning.

But I just want to reassure you, we're gonna be in the water.

Our crews are gonna be in the water.

You should feel okay to be in the water.

I asked Jake if he had anything to pass on

to you three, and he said-- with respect to the rest of you--

"I hope you are the final three

and I'm sorry I couldn't help you get there."

And I think the reason those words are important

for everybody to hear is

that is the turn everybody's got to make.

The minute we told Jake he was pulled from the game,

he said two things.

One, "Thank you, because I'm gonna be a dad,

and I don't want to risk anything."

And two,

"Pass on these words

to my tribe, because the game continues."

And that's what's happening now.

So, Kele, are the three of you ready to run this?

Yeah, I-I mean, I think that,

this morning, we kind of took off playing the game.

We've been playing so hard nonstop, Jeff,

for the last five days.

And this really brought us out of the game.

We want to play for Jake.

You know, he wanted to be here so bad,

missing his firstborn baby to be out here on Survivor.

It's his lifelong dream.

And, um...

we-we want to make him proud.

Jason, how do you process a moment like this?

Does it hit you emotionally in a way that you can't move forward,

or can you compartmentalize?

I don't know. I mean...

I feel...

It's, like, there's just so much.

I don't know how you can compartmentalize this.

It's just such a big loss, you know?

And-and I-I really feel for Kele, too, 'cause it's, like,

I hate it when it's, like, the odds are stacked against you,

and I really want a ray of hope.

And it's just, like, I-I don't know.

I don't know how to help 'em.

Sophi, it's really interesting

what Jason is saying is

the empathetic part of anyone here

would love to help the three of you,

but right now, that would mean losing this challenge

- Yeah. - and going to Tribal Council,

and somebody else's dream would end.

No, I mean, and I don't really expect anyone

to just give us the win.

I wouldn't want that, either.

We-we, at this point, want to earn it.

I think this is what Jake would've wanted,

And so I'm dedicating this challenge to him,

For today's challenge, one tribe member from each tribe

will race to the top of a tower,

leap out into the ocean.

You will then cross the Survivor water totter,

where you will retrieve a key.

You'll then make your way across a series

of floating platforms...

...and swim to the end.

Then the next two players go.

Once you have everybody at the end,

two players will unlock and solve aSurvivor turtle puzzle.

First two tribes to finish

win immunity, safe from the vote.

In addition, you're playing for a reward.

- Want to know what you're playing for? - Yes.

It's still about building a good camp,

and this will change things a lot.

A giant tarp and two hammocks.

You will be very surprised

how much more comfortable life will be with this.

and you get reward, and it's all great.

But then the reality sets in

that they've had a crap time.

And something very real has happened to them.

Um, and it's really hard to celebrate that.

It's not a good feeling for us, so I can't even imagine

the feeling they're having right now.

We didn't win today.

And that means we're going to Tribal again.

And so, not only did we lose Jake,

but we're losing another person.

And we didn't expect to have to come after each other.

So it's... it's something that

nobody wants to do, but we have to do.

It's crazy. It's so horrible to be a part of.

It might be fun to watch,

but it's very tough to be a part of, I can tell you that.

This is just...

It's kind of unbelievable.

Disaster.

None of us could have expected this type of journey, you know?

It's a miserable journey.

Everything's possible,

but this is just not in the cards for anybody.

I know. We won nothing.

We literally won nothing.

On a personal level, losing Jake--

it's honestly just so emotional for me.

Maybe he's meant to be at home with his family right now,

and that his wife needs him.

And so we're just trying to look at the bright sides of things.

- I'm... - This does not feel real.

Like, that we're going there again.

Three times in a row.

Jake was my number one.

And so, it stinks now, because,

yes, I'm with two very great people,

but I just don't have that same relationship.

I have an idol, so that at least gives me some comfort.

But now it's, like, I am having

to think about, do I play my idol, do I not?

How do you guys even want to do it?

Like, with talking to each other?

I mean, I think that, like,

we should all have conversations individually, and, like,

whatever happens happens, I feel like.

We're going to Tribal.

There's only three people, and so we're in a position

where we have to vote one of our alliance members out.

It's so uncomfortable. We've been so loyal

to each other, and it just doesn't feel right.

- Ay-ay-ay. -I know.

I mean, I could leave if you guys want to talk.

- You sure? - Yeah.

Right now,

I can only vote out two people.

My number one, Sophi,

or Alex, who has an idol.

Gosh.

Welcome to Survivor.

It would be so crazy. It'd be, like, such a good comeback story

for the both of us.

And you're comfortable with that?

Like, voting him out?

- Like... - Oh. Yeah.

Okay.

I don't know how close you guys are, though.

Um, yeah, I was close... I'm closest with you.

So, I'm closest with you.

I do not like that Alex has an idol.

I think having the idol does give you

all that control, and now he has it.

So I want to think of a crafty way

to get me and Jeremiah out of this situation.

I don't think he... I think he's smarter than that.

- I think he wants to keep it for later in the game. - I do, too.

And I think he's in, like, a good position right now, too.

It's just, how do we...

how do we... trick Alex?

He's gonna think it's either you or me.

- Yeah. - Because it's not him.

So, I think when I talk to him, I just have to say you.

And, like, just in the conversation,

make it feel as safe as possible

so that our two votes just get it done.

Okay. Okay.

When push comes to shove, I figure things out.

So, our plan right now

is to make Alex feel comfortable and vote him out.

And if Alex goes home,

we flush the idol out of this game,

and it's something I don't have to worry about.

- We got this. - We do got this.

If we stay strong, we could do two things--

take a big player out and flush an idol.

Flush an idol.

It is gonna be tricky, but

something I've learned about myself out here on Survivor

is I'm pretty good at manipulation.

And so I'm gonna

do my best to make these men do what I want them to do.

So, Jake's

- gone now. - Yeah.

- So sad. - Feel bad. -We're officially gonna

- be down to 14. -14.

- Right. -It's gonna

be us versus Yellow, dawg.

-Yeah. -So... I think

we spend time today, if we're rested...

I want to find something,

'cause who knows what they got in their back pocket.

So, like, maybe doing, like, a group hunt?

- For sure. -Yes.

We look at the Kele tribe, and after Tribal tonight,

they're down to two.

So,

as we stand right now,

we view it as an Uli tribe

versus the Hina tribe.

That's because, you know, we have six, they have six,

and we're gonna go to war, so, we want to make sure

we have as much tools

in our pocket as possible.

- I'm down. - I mean, we're all here, so...

- Yeah. -Let's do it.

- I can see the montage now. -I know.

Insert action music.

We've gone out looking for the immunity idol

a few times, but the truth is,

I am bad at looking for those things,

and my tribe is equally terrible.

- Man, this all looks the same. -I know.

It is hot as hell out here,

and we were all physically exhausted.

And so, as much as I know our tribe really wants

to find it, personally, I think we have

a very small percentage chance of finding the idol.

- Guys? -Yup. What?

- I found it. -You found it?

-Shut up. - I swear to God.

I found it.

I found it.

Yup.

On the outside,

I'm playing it very cool.

I don't want anyone to know how excited I am

to be the first one on this tribe to find an advantage.

This is for all of us.

Whatever we need to happen,

I'm with you guys till the wheels fall off.

-Yeah. - Okay?

I kind of brought up

that motivational speaker in me and say,

"Guys, this isn't for me.

"This is for us.

This is for Uli, baby."

But selfishly, at the end of the day, I'm here for myself.

This thing is sticking in my pocket,

and will forever be in my pocket

until I hand it to Jeff Probst.

"The path to securing the hidden immunity idol

"will remain a mystery

"until after your tribe loses

a future immunity challenge."

-What? -What?

"Once your tribe loses,

"dig at the base of the water well

"for your instructions on how to retrieve the idol.

"Until you take possession of the idol,

"you cannot participate in the vote at Tribal Council.

That's why it says Beware."

Obviously, knowing

that I don't have a vote until I have an idol is scary.

My family will be proud.

But everybody

back at home is like, "Rizo,

"if there's one thing you do,

it's you go find that hidden immunity idol."

And now, the man, the myth, the legend--

R-I-Z-G-O-D, RizGod, baby--

has some tools in his toolbox to work with in this game.

Hey, bro?

- Cinema. - No, that was cinema.

Big challenges, living in the jungle, social politics.

And I've never told him anything like,

- "Oh, I wouldn't write your game down." - Right.

- Because I like him on a personal level. - Definitely.

I think we have a lot of game chemistry, too.

- No, I know. - And I think that's more important,

- especially for the long game. - Right.

Right now, me and Jeremiah

are on the chopping block because

Alex has an idol, and

he can play that, and he'd be safe tonight.

So our goal right now is

to convince him not to use it and vote him out.

This is my chance

to turn things around for myself in this game.

- We have two votes against one. - Yeah.

- And you have an idol. - Yeah, I know.

- I mean, honestly... - And I don't... I mean...

I know. I know.

But it... Yeah, I know. It's, like...

I know that I can trust you and stuff,

- but if somehow I, like, - I know what you said.

- I know what you said. - didn't play my idol

and then went home, I would just be like...

I'd slap myself forever.

Having my idol makes a huge difference.

I am in the driver's seat at this point,

because people know that I could just be safe.

But this is a big decision.

Who am I going to the end of this game with?

And I just have to make sure that it's the right person.

So you have to decide, like,

- who you're voting for. - Well, I don't know.

Like, I don't even know if I'm playing my idol,

like that type of thing, where it's just like...

I know. This is, like, what you said to me on day one.

Oh, my God.

Because I know

Alex is a Libra, like, I'm trying

to be as neutral as possible

to catch him off guard so he doesn't play his idol.

You do what is best for your game.

Trust your gut, I feel like.

I know that works best with Libras.

Not a lot of pressure, not a lot of confrontation,

but just talking out, you know, options and theories,

because he's really focused on himself.

I think now it's just, like, trying to figure out, like,

who's gonna be loyal and, like, how are we gonna work toge--

Like, is Sophi gonna stay loyal?

If Soph is gonna throw me aside, why would I bring Soph?

- Right. - Is kind of my thinking.

Right. And that makes sense. That makes sense.

Like, would she have been loyal to me?

- Like, I don't know. -Yeah.

And I think that I could actually trust you, you know?

I wanted to see who was lying to me in this situation.

So I thought

it was a good idea to go and spy on them.

I'm risking my whole game by doing this,

but I also think that it really can help me.

When it got down to four,

I was very nervous.

I think that Soph could have been like,

"Let's just get Alex out and take Jeremiah with us."

-Mm-hmm. - That's the person who I'd want to go with,

is someone who, like, probably would have wanted me out?

Oh, my God, Alex is voting for me.

This is, like, the worst thing that could possibly happen.

If we put the votes on Alex and he plays his idol,

I'm going home. My life is

on the line tonight, and so I'm pulling out all the stops.

I'll be honest with you. I don't think

Jeremiah is gonna write my name down tonight.

I think he's gonna write your name down.

- Yeah. - I'm just trying to give you all the information.

- Right, right. - So that we can work with it,

- or you can work with it. - Right, I know, exactly.

- Um... - And I appreciate the honesty, really.

Yeah. I'm telling you right now,

I've had the same boyfriend for four and a half years.

- Yeah. - I've never cheated.

- Had the same friends since childhood. - Yeah.

I've had the same nail tech since high school.

Same nail tech. That's a big deal.

I'm just like that.

Like, when I'm with someone, I'm with someone.

Like, that's what I'm looking for,

is just someone that, like, I can rely on down the road.

Yeah.

My mind is just spinning.

I-I still have zero idea what I'm going to do.

Am I writing Sophi's name down?

Am I writing Jeremiah's name down?

I just don't know.

I have to closely look at my relationships.

Who can I trust more?

Who is the person that's gonna get me to the end?

But then, I also have to figure out,

what in the hell am I doing with this idol?

Do I play it for myself so I'm safe

or do I try and keep it in my pocket and

use it moving forward?

I think that Alex playing his idol could be a bluff.

So, ideally, I would vote with Jeremiah,

my number one, and vote out Alex.

But I need to make sure that

I don't go home because of that idol.

And if that means voting out Jeremiah,

I might have to do that.

This is the hardest and most important decision

I've had to make in this game.

All right.

Let me start by giving you my take

of this tribe in terms of the votes at Tribal.

That seemed to be fairly easy in that

they were both unanimous decisions.

Then you lose Jake.

It's dramatic, it's emotional, but what I noticed today

is you seemed rudderless.

Alex, was Jake a leader?

Is that missing right now?

Yeah, Jake definitely

was the one who had the relationships

with all of us, I-I'd say.

And, so, yes, here we are trying to figure out

who is it that we're gonna try and go to the end with,

which is so hard. It's, like,

we never even had to think about that before, and then

it's, like, we just had to snap right into it.

Jeremiah, you were nodding a lot.

Yeah, like, now that

we have to draw the line in the sand

and bamboozle one of us,

it just creates a different tone

because we've never felt like this until tonight.

So, Sophi, there is only one way to turn--

left or I turn right.

- Yeah. - You can only do the... What is it?

Like, dancing when you go...

You trade partners, and it's two v. one,

- then two v. one, then two v. one. That's it. - Yeah.

It's like a salsa dance, Jeff, and I do salsa.

So I'm kind of used to this, you know?

Switching partners and seeing who I have more chemistry with,

and that's usually when it's more fun.

Um, but no, Jeff.

The hardest part is that

we do have to get rid of one of us tonight,

which is devastating.

But if you have to get rid of one of your people,

you have to do it for you to survive.

Alex, what was most different

about going back to camp after losing again?

Well, I'm in a unique position, Jeff.

I have an idol and everyone knows it.

And so, it was like a job application.

And Jeremiah and Sophi were both trying

to apply for this position of who I'm bringing with me

- to the next stage. - Yeah.

And so, I don't know.

I'm looking to fill the position in a matter of minutes here.

So how did the job application process go?

Did you have time set aside for each of the applicants?

Oh, absolutely. I switched office locations.

I was at the beach with Jeremiah.

I was in the shelter for Sophi.

And it was a very thorough process.

And it was really just an honest conversation

about the game so far, you know.

So it sounds a little bit more

like an interrogation rather than a job interview.

I don't know. I'm-I'm just used

to being on the other side of the application process.

I'm not a good interviewer, so...

Alex, do you enjoy being in this spot?

- Oh, my God. - So,

my friends at home know I love attention,

um, which is kind of funny,

because being in this spot right now is awful.

I will say that it was friendly. You were very friendly.

- It was very... No, no. - So... - Yeah.

- Yeah. -All right. So, Sophi,

what was your pitch?

Um, so, personally, I'm already thinking about the long game,

and I wanted to kind of open Alex's eyes to that.

You know, I'm a very loyal person. I've been

in the same relationship for four and a half years.

I've had the same friends since childhood,

the same nail technician since high school. Like, I...

That was my favorite one, by the way.

I'm a loyal girl.

Like, if I'm with you, I'm with you to the end.

I hope that Alex can see that,

and I mean that from the bottom of my heart.

How about you, Jeremiah?

That's a pretty compelling pitch.

She just laid out her entire life,

including getting her nails done from the same person.

Yeah, Alex and I have this, like,

connection, and I think it's sort of, like,

our cheeky smiles and, like, a twinkle in our eyes.

And, like, for two people to come together

that think the same, act the same, it's just so powerful.

Um, and then when you bring in loyalty,

there's been opportunities for me to, like, turn against Alex,

and I've never said his name.

And so, I think what matters the most is, like,

what's resonating with Jake the most and who he feels...

- Alex. - I mean, Alex.

- Sorry. I'm so hungry that, like... - No. I know.

Um, uh, yeah, so I think

the ball's in Jake...

The ball's in Alex's hands.

Alex, slightly different pitch.

Equally compelling.

Yeah, I mean, absolutely.

It's kind of just, like, where does the balance fall?

You know, when I came into this game,

I wanted to work with someone who, like, no one would expect,

in, like, secrecy, almost, a-and just run the game.

I mean, it didn't work out 'cause I was with Jake,

and everyone knew about our bromance, but...

Um, but now, it's my chance to kind of reset.

I'm looking for someone who I can see

going long in this game with.

Like, that's what I'm out here for.

I'm out here to play, and I'm out here to win.

And so, who's gonna be that loyal person

- Yeah. - down the road,

um, is kind of what it just came down to.

So Sophi, is the scenario you're going with

that Alex is going to play his idol,

therefore, he is safe, and he's basically

gonna decide who goes home?

Yes, sir. We all knew

that he has an idol.

And that definitely comes into play tonight because

you don't want to be a casualty of an idol.

But I feel that trust with somebody who will

vote with me tonight, and we're making that decision together.

The "we" is Alex?

No, I mean, it doesn't have to be Alex.

It could be Jeremiah, as well.

Who knows if, you know, Alex is bluffing us.

So you're not certain that he's playing the idol?

I'm not certain, Jeff. I'm not certain.

I mean, you can never be certain in Survivor.

How about you, Jeremiah?

Because it is a bold move to say, "I have the idol

and I will be playing it" and then not play it.

Yeah, Alex and I had a conversation, and I asked him,

"How would you feel if you, like, went home

with the idol in your pocket?"

And he's like, "I would regret that for, like, ever."

And I'm like, "How would you feel

if you played the idol and you didn't need it?"

He's just like, "I wouldn't regret that.

I would want it for the future."

And yet, Sophi, that's exactly what you would say to somebody

if you weren't gonna play your idol.

Exactly. That's the beauty of Survivor.

And so, somebody's lying here,

and somebody's gonna come out on top after this vote,

and we'll see who it is, you know?

We'll see who the truth-teller is.

All right, well, if we take this back

to the first time you came here, the boat had a leak.

And I think it's fair to say at this point,

your boat has crashed.

- Yeah. - Good news is,

- there's a lifeboat. -Yeah.

Bad news is it only fits two.

- That's right. - The other

will have to walk the plank.

and I'm sorry I have to do this to you,
