This year felt very different from past seasons of the show. We welcomed three

new housewives, and we saw a veteran.

But underlying it all were Teresa and Joe's legal issues that were just

resolved.

yesterday, it was Gabrielle's birthday and that's where she was. Who else, you

kids don't know anything.

and your return to the show.

What made you decide to finally return?

Is it because certain people from the show are no longer on it?

the drama and the negativity.

And you were on the show during a pretty intense time. I mean, obviously, you've

been through this longer than anybody, and it's been more intense for you than

anybody. But the Danielle era, that was really intense for you. Let me tell you

something about my family.

We are thick as thieves, and we protect each other to the end.

You will not sit here and attack my sister.

I am the one that showed the book.

Jacqueline, why don't you tell her the truth? You two came in this line and

showing everything. It was me. I saved your ass and did not even tell her it

It felt different for me this season because I didn't have to worry about

hurting Caroline or Jacqueline by going against what they thought.

And I think there was a lot of manipulation behind the scenes with

with Danielle and stuff like that. Like, I don't hate Danielle. I didn't back

then. It was annoying.

That's not what everybody else felt.

Was that kind of the beginning of the deterioration of your relationship with

Jacqueline and Caroline?

It was kind of the end of me wanting to partake in all of it anymore. Because

when I left, I distanced myself from all of them, Teresa included.

Dina, we know this was also a tough year for you with your marriage coming to an

end and your daughter heading off to college.

We watched you struggle to stay zen.

But with everything that's going on, I'm not going to sit here and even say how

I feel about this one. I'm just going to sit this one out. To be honest with

you, I wasn't a, you know, religious watcher of the show. I mean, I've

it sporadically. You should have watched the show. But what I have seen of you,

this is kind of your emote. Are you insinuating that I hurt people? I've

hurt Jacqueline. You know what I mean? And Jacqueline was my good friend for

over ten years.

Teresa, Laura from Alabama said on a past reunion, Caroline hinted that you

Curious, any truth to that? I was just offended by that because Teresa was

friendly with them when we were already on the outs. So how can that be

Do you think it'll be better or worse than your singing career?

She's from Staten Island.

It's something that my husband invested into. It's not our main company. I mean,

Joe is still a real estate developer.

This is just something that he invested into as a side business.

Did you wind up selling your big old house or?

So we sold it with an extended close.

So he was supposed to close within 12 months. And then little by little, this

guy was not keeping up to his end of the agreement.

So we really had to fight hard to get him out.

So is he still there?

No, he's out. Maybe I'll go squat in it.

Maybe you should get that house. I'll just go squat.

You should just become a professional squatter, yeah.

So the status right now is the house is empty, and Joe and I are in a position

now where now we have a property that we poured the foundation, and we're

building one home, and now we still own our house in Montville, so we have both.

much as I can, and now she gets it. But it's a downsize for her, but she's very

comfortable there. I love the coziness of the house. I actually enjoy a smaller

Amber. Viewers learned that you are not only a proud cancer survivor, but also a

no -nonsense mom with a husband who takes no prisoners. And that's putting

I almost lost my life to breast cancer.

The whole experience changed me as a person.

You really need to be the best person you can be at all times.

The day she had the surgery, I've never cried like that in my life.

My husband is a gentle lion. I wish the other girls could see this side of Jim.

Did you smoke a cigarette?

If you go through chemotherapy and the double mastectomy, it's actually 95 %

She's strong, she's made us proud, and we're very blessed.

I didn't even know Dina was still upset with me from season one until Teresa

told me. Because I want you guys to have peace.

I have been a little bit worried lately about Teresa.

No. Oh, you mean afterwards, you mean? Yeah. Yeah, she did text me. She was

like, I wanted to follow my heart. So, you know, she texted me. With all you're

going through, do you miss her?

No. No.

I wish her well with her son.

You know, I was there when Nicholas was born.

She has to remember that Nicholas gave her this flower just in case they ever

date one day.

I mean, he's a beautiful boy.

Dina, has this distance kept you from your nephew?

As sad as it is, I don't know Nicholas at all. I mean, I know him in my way,

I have a picture of him on my altar, and I pray for him every night.

Is it hard for you to watch those scenes with him?

No. He's progressing, and he's so beautiful, and he gets to be home and

around. The work that I do, I see children.

Like, he's progressing.

I think it's a beautiful thing. But, you know, whenever you see your child, no

matter what the illness is, no matter if you're cold even, you feel so bad.

Absolutely. Of course, yeah. And Andy, you know the saying, God gives you what

If Jacqueline invited you over to meet him, would you go?

Probably not.

There's nothing I could do to help Nicholas other than pray for him and

him. I'm not Mother Teresa. I can't sit there and heal him.

Nicholas doesn't know me. I have to say, what hurts me more is my daughter.

That's her godfather.

And she grew up with him. Chris. Yeah, like, I'm more bothered for the kids

understand.

She's so innocent and all this. Lexi's such a good girl.

I invited everybody to Lexi's graduation party.

There was no malicious about it, so... Your family, when I was filmed with her,

was never, ever brought up. Ever. If you can't handle stuff about your family

being brought up on reality TV, then maybe you're making the wrong choices.

You're right, and I chose not to come back while family was on, and that's

exactly why I did that.

This show is about mending family and being together.

Both parties have to want it. Right, exactly.

I think that's how I feel, and I think if you spoke to Caroline, she also feels

that way.

I have to say something. Go ahead. I feel like you try to bring things up and

the show if she respected what Teresa was saying about family.

You were on the show with your sister, right? Your relationship was not okay

when you signed on.

So, done. Fix what's broken before you come on so America and your parents

have to be... That's who it hurts. It hurts the parents and the kids. But then

that's your two's fault, then. It ain't anybody else's fault. I agree. Because

you have to resolve your issues. Because when we fight, my mother just says, fix

it. Have it out and be done with it. I love you. That's it. It's over.

I don't need anybody to feel bad for me. That's not why I'm bringing this up.

I will say Chris reached out when he heard I was separated.

He reached out with a text, and I could not have been happier.

So, but that lasted all of 15 minutes. Did you respond? Yes, and we had a

planned meet, and I don't want to get into it, but obviously not

everybody was on the same page with that.

You will not see what happened between them play out on television.

So maybe if I say my side and my piece, I don't think I'm hurting anyone. I'm

saying how I feel.

Maybe now it will go away. Maybe now America will respect my elderly parents

enough. And that's how I felt with my parents. Do you really think they

Joe Giudice, you and I spoke a few days ago right after you were sentenced to 41

months in prison. How are you processing all of this?

I don't know. How do you... It's not like you eat something and you digest

mean, I don't know how you do it.

I guess if you stick a knife in me right now, I probably won't even feel it.

Teresa, I remember...

that you had asked Melissa and Joe not to come to the sentencing and that you

didn't want your parents there either. Why is that?

I mean, if I saw my parents there, it would just break my heart. And I just

didn't want them there.

Because I knew I had to speak in front of the judge, and then I knew I was

to break down if I saw them.

Curious, I mean, Melissa, what was your reaction when you heard the sentence?

We were all in shock, obviously.

You never think that something like that's actually going to happen to

you love or someone in your family.

I know Joe has been very upset. I can't imagine how she feels, and I know she

has four daughters, and that's all everybody really is thinking about.

Joe Gorga, what have you been feeling?

It's been pretty much hell.

It's my sister, it's my brother.

He's not my brother -in -law, he's my brother.

I know him all my life.

I can't imagine how I'm feeling and what they're feeling.

You know, it's breaking my heart, so.

What do you want them to know?

That I love you.

I love you guys.

Really.

And it's so hard for me because it's my sister, you know.
