So, being home, like, with my family,

it's like you can't get more comfortable.

And I'm excited to see the house, too.

The housewarming, my mom, you know,

looking at our schedule, I think she planned it for that week

just so I'd be able to come.

But I'm glad she did, though, because I definitely wanted

to be there, you know, to see the house and stuff like that.

Right now my emotions are, like,

really, really deep, you know? 'Cause, like-- I mean,

it's something that we always talked about.

There was certain times, like, we would go house shopping,

I guess you can say, where we were just, like, driving around,

looking at houses and stuff like that, getting ideas.

I don't really think about it for real too much, though,

'cause it's so much more that I wanna do. Flying her places.

Of course, like, getting her a car and stuff.

Like... actually retiring her.

Like, it's a lot more stuff that I haven't done.

I mean, of course, like, it's a big milestone.

So it's like, I done came a long way to get this, but...

ultimate goal is to retire my mom, you know,

make sure that she's stable with everything that she has.

And just making sure that my brothers are okay, you know?

That's what's on my mind, like, right now, so.

I think about it sometimes, like, when I call my cousin

or my big brother or something like that,

or, like, even my little brothers when I call them.

Just, like, them having they own rooms and stuff like that,

and having, like, better Wi-Fi.

Like, stuff like that, like, make me think about it.

But I don't, like, get emotional.

It do warm me up a little bit, though, like,

just seeing how comfortable that they are now.

DAKORIEN: My mom got it.

My girlfriend and my mom put it together.

I was told my girlfriend did most of the work, you feel me?

And my mom just criticized.

But, I mean, it's just words, you know?

I don't really know what happened, you know,

and I'm not gonna take sides.

I've been here for, what, ten months?

We was definitely young when we first started.

Like, people's hair was shorter.

Like, mine for sure was shorter.

My hair was so short when I got here.

Dante hair was shorter.

He didn't really have, like, the full beard.

Yeah, just, like, everything was, like, just different.

I don't know. So many people was getting, like,

adapted to the new place, 'cause, you know, we had, like,

a lot of freshmen that came in, so a lot of people just getting,

like, you know, acclimated to the environment.

But now, like, everybody's just comfortable.

Like... I don't know.

I'd definitely say I matured in many ways,

especially the way I, like, see football.

My mindset, just being able to fight through things a lot more.

Um, not letting things get to me.

I think, like, being around, like, Dante and, like, Liks,

some other guys like that, I think that rubbed off on me.

which lost eight starters from last year,

is leading the nation

with only five and a half points allowed per game.

The Buckeyes look to continue their dominant run

against a 3-1 Minnesota team,

but the Golden Gophers have not beaten Ohio State

since the 2000 season.

PRODUCER: So where were you 19 years ago today?

DEETRA: Oh, 19 years ago today, I was in labor.

Yeah, 'cause he was born-- What time is it?

I really like for my kids to feel special on their day.

So I put together this box, and it's split down fours.

So when you take the lid off, it opens.

And these are a few of the little things

he asked for, like cologne.

I bought him his own Uno cards.

And then he loves Snickers.

They've always known that,

You know, I'll pick up those one or two things and just

making them feel appreciated, 'cause I appreciate him.

And then there's another box.

And these are-- He asked me for a pair of earrings,

so they're sitting in the center.

So I told you, I don't know if I told you he doesn't like cake.

He doesn't-- he doesn't like cake,

so this is one thing that we can get him to eat.

Normally it's cookies or brownies, but there's this cake.

I don't even know why he likes it.

My mother-in-law started getting it.

And it's very rare, like I said, that he'll eat cake.

Normally cakes and cupcakes, he will just, like,

"Yeah, I'll pass," but he'll eat that.

That's what I like about Dylan.

Me and Dylan will probably try just about anything.

The funny thing about me is it's not what I eat,

it's what I don't eat. I don't eat corn,

and I blame my cousin for it.

Dylan decided to come down here.

It's cool because Dylan doesn't really stop working

or take the time out for himself.

So just to be out here and, you know, see his younger brother,

and, you know, he's proud of him.

DYLAN: You know, I used to be a wrestling fan,

and he used to be somewhat of one with me,

so the little brother, big brother relationship just

came from him jumping off the top of my bed

and us, you know, playing Shawn Michaels-Triple H

all day and all night until Mom told us to stop.

And that seeped into the football field as well.

A lot of it, I believe, started with Dylan,

him really doing it because Dylan was out there doing it.

His big brother influenced him a lot to get out there

and, you know, do his thing on the football field.

DEVIN: It was fun growing up, obviously,

having an older brother who played football.

That's the reason I asked my parents to play football

was because of him.

When he was out there at practice when he was

around nine years old, I was around three.

They running laps, I'm running laps with 'em.

DEETRA: He couldn't play,

so that was his way of being a part of the team.

He was always in the huddle.

He definitely, you know, wanted to do

what his big brother was doing.

DYLAN: You could tell from the start

that it was just something that he was meant to do.

Just from a young age, my brother has shown

gifts of athleticism.

You know, football games when I was in high school,

we would come out in the tunnel, and who was doing the backflip?

My brother, for our team.

My brother was the mascot, the Buffalo for the team.

DEVIN: You know, he didn't get the opportunity

to do what I'm doing right now.

You know, he didn't go to a powerhouse school.

He went to a D2 college.

DYLAN: I went to Texas A&M University-Kingsville.

I played defensive end, defensive tackle there

for four years, but I knew that football wasn't long for me.

I just knew it wasn't gonna happen.

Growing up in my house was pressure as a football player.

My father was a Division I football player, and...

I did not receive that pressure as well as I should have.

My father struggles with if it was the right approach,

and... it was.

I just didn't take it in stride.

That's why I'm happy for my brother, because...

he got to see my struggle, and he got to see the fight

that I went through just to make it day to day.

And I'm just glad that my brother got to see it

from my perspective in order to forge his own path.

I pinch myself a lot.

My brother has, in a sense, made it.

Job's not done. Job's not finished.

But he's gotten to a point that only I could dream of.

And right now we're looking at him at Ohio State,

playing on Saturdays, playing with the best.

I'm proud beyond belief.

PRODUCER:

I predict BTA. 35-plus.

- PRODUCER: What is BTA? - DEETRA: You don't know that?

So years-- Oh, maybe last year--

maybe last year, Devin started saying that.

And that's what everybody just kind of abbreviated as BTA.

- DYLAN: No, Devin would never-- - Well, he never-- It was like

it became, like, the theme for Ohio,

'cause they were not saying that before he--

He did-- it was something that he posted about them,

and then that's when they-- All the podcasters were saying,

like, "Devin Sanchez said."

DYLAN: That is true, but it's been--

- It's been a thing for a while. - Yeah, but he kind of--

I mean, there is a chance

that Devin Sanchez could be the third corner.

He could be one injury away from starting.

I think the bar is incredibly high to get on the field

at Ohio State, especially in this year,

given how much they brought back off last year's team.

I could see them being more dangerous

than they were in the regular season a year ago.

They strike fear into their opponents

before they even step foot on the field.

My brother never really got to see me play for real.

HARRIS: I didn't start. I didn't get to play a lot.

HARRIS: With Devin Sanchez, the reason why we're sending him

in and out of the lineup so much

is because of game plan situations.

COMMENTATOR: Third and goal. Gophers on the Ohio State 9.

HARRIS: They're just trying to find where he fits best

on this defense that has a lot of veteran experience and a lot

of veteran players that have played a lot of football.

COMMENTATOR: It's dropped at the 3-yard line by Javon Tracy.

He was covered by Devin Sanchez.

Again, once they got in the red zone,

this defense for Ohio State was able to stiffen up.

I kind of got into drums at a young age.

and the band like to get together.

We got with the band.

They came and did the little tradition thing

Yeah, thought Devin graded out well,

Um, certainly it wasn't perfect.

There was things he could do better.

But, you know, for a young player

to play with that type of confidence in that environment,

it was a great sign.

But. yeah, we'll see how Lorenzo feels this week.

But I feel like we have at least created

a little bit of flexibility and depth right there.

Oregon has defeated the Iowa Hawkeyes

in one of the craziest football games

we have seen in a long time.

[players cheering]

At the end of the game, it was kind of like a wave of relief,

but not like a ton,

'cause I've never missed a college game.

Like, this is my first year. I'm not trying to miss no game.

Like, I want to come back and help my team fight

for this national championship that we trying to get.

A complete team effort.

And I'm just going to tell y'all, man, it's hard

to go win in a place like that versus a team like that.

And you guys never quit.
