There are
some things I've done in my life

that I'm very proud of,
and there are some things

that I deeply regret.

Like the time Meg and
Jo went to the theater

with Laurie, and Jo refused
to let me come along.

I can remember the terrible
things I said to her

as they were about to
leave that afternoon.

That's a lovely dress, ma'am.

And Jo, you
look very attractive,

if you don't mind...

And as
the anger inside me grew

and took possession of
me, I ran to Jo's room

and took the only copy of the novel

she had been working on for so long,

and proceeded to toss the
pages into the fireplace,

one by one.

send forth the swirling storm to fight

the souls of my fearful adversaries.

On lightning wings and fiery chariots,

send thunder and rain into the
dark caverns of this night.

May dark clouds be lowered upon my foes.

So that even the king
shall become my servant,

and this weak time of peace
shall be lost forever.

The secret parchment has been burned.

Now my power will be returned.

home through the woods
as fast as he could,

while I began to feel myself slowly fall

deeper and deeper into
a dark, quiet sleep.

And even though I was barely awake,

I remember I could hear
Jo's voice behind me.

You're gonna be all right, Amy.

Can you hear me, Amy?

I love you.

And as I
lay there in Laurie's arms

and felt the warmth of
his body on my cheek,

the real comfort I had was hearing Jo

say those words to me, and
knowing that in her heart,

she had forgiven me and
would soon tell me so.
