What was it like being married

to one of the greatest
bull riders ever?

- It was intoxicating.

You know, the fans, the travel

and Austin, he really loved
what he did.

You know, I'm just now trying
to figure out what it means
to move on without him.

I actually just
became a brand ambassador
for Frontier Jeans.

- Well, Missy. That's so great.

Yeah, but you know what?
I want to go back in time.

Way back in time to the height
of Austin's career.

The awards, the travel
and you were right by his side.

- You know, I was no stranger
to rodeo either.

I used to be a rodeo queen
and a trick rider before that.

- Uh-huh. Well, you know what?

Big fan of Austin's.

I'd just like to know
what he was like at home.

Was he sweet? Funny?

- Austin, he could make me laugh
more than anybody.

(Cynthia): Really?

- I remember one time
I challenged him to a race

and when he lost,

he had to wear his brother's
old rodeo clown outfit
for a week.

He even wore it
to some fancy dinner.

(chuckling)

- Oh, yeah.

where do you see yourself
in five years?

- See myself in five years?

I don't know.

When I lost my husband,
I lost myself.

And then all of a sudden I just
became Austin McMurray's widow.

And I forgot that
I'm a rider too.

I can do a suicide drag
off of a horse
at breakneck speed

and I've got
my own story to tell.

- And what do you hope
to accomplish
by telling that story?

- I just hope that...

I can remind people that
it's okay to be lost sometimes.

To not know where you want
to be in five years,

let alone next week.

And if I've done that,
then I think I've done my job.

And I would really like

to keep them fed and watered.

we'll do all the work.

And we'll split the earnings,

I can to fight for it.

- Can't keep it afloat
on a shoestring forever.

- It's not going to be forever.

And Cash will land

- I don't have to rely
on that sponsorship.

keeping him
from getting a new bull?

- Truth is,

no mother wants her son
riding bulls.

- I know.

Which is why I'm gonna do
everything I can

to make sure he stays safe.

- Why do I feel like
I'm at the principal's office?

- 'Cause you are.

himself in front of bulls
be scared of chasing his dreams?

- I haven't been bull fighting
in a year, so...

- But your mother
wants you to now?

- For my brother.

- So, this isn't a demotion,

it's more of a... reinstatement?

(serene music)

(knocking)

Uh, a stock contractor guy
just called me back.

Turns out that bull
is headed this way.
