The squirrel is eating the bird seed.

I've just finished my squirrel feeding platform.

Look, it has different stations.

And you've got to see what we're going to put on them.

But, you know, I've got to entice some squirrels to get on top of here, so

Squirrels like nuts.

And this is the best of the best of nuts.

It's walnuts.

We're going to make a squirrel construction site.

We've got a dump truck. Check it out. It actually works.

And we've got rocks on the inside.

And we've got safety cones.

So I have a great idea.

Let's take some walnuts.

Let's hide them under each safety cone.

Put one right there.

Perfect. Now, we'll see if the squirrels can knock those over to get to those

nuts.

How about we hide a couple inside of

the dump truck?

That's going to be great.

That way, we can see if the squirrels will

tilt over the dump truck to get to the walnuts.

Maybe we'll hide one more in there.

Let's see. How about right there?

Perfect.

That's going to be awesome.

We've even got a bigger safety gun.

So what we're going to do is we're going to put this right in the middle of this

station. And we've got to find the best walnut.

Let's see. Oh, I like that one.

Oh, that's like a whole walnut. Look at that.

I think this might be the one.

So what we're going to do is we're going to take this nice, beautiful walnut,

and we're going to put it on top of the safety cone, and we're going to see

whether the squirrel knocks it over or climbs up the safety cone to get that

walnut. Oh, wow.

That's going to be great.

Let's move our walnuts down.

This one I really like.

Look.

We made the squirrels their own ball pit. Oh, yes.

Oh, I got a few more.

Now, we can hide some walnuts inside.

All throughout the ball pit.

It's kind of like a scavenger hunt inside the ball pit.

And I can get in there and roll around.

Maybe a few more.

These squirrels that we're watching and feeding are eastern gray squirrels.

They're great, aren't they?

Oh, there's all kinds of different squirrels in the world. All kinds of

different species.

Oh, there's tree squirrels, there's ground squirrels, even squirrels that

That's absolutely awesome.

You know, squirrels are really observant to their surroundings.

You notice how they look around and make sure everything is safe and good to go

before they move.

And did you know that squirrels spend about 15 hours a day sleeping?

Well, let's get back to squirrel watching.
