Sorry to keep you waiting, Alice!

I'm sorry!

The cleaning tasks held me up.

You didn't need to run like that.

Here.

Thank youl!

Why do we have cleanup duty in a school for detectives?

It's a bit bothersome.

Eh! Why!

Huh!

Cleaning up is fun!

Ohl

Well, I guess that's true.

Kazumi-chan!

Hey! Is it true that the commandeering class has already started technique lessons!

Yes! It started yesterday.

Wow! As I expect, they started really quickly.

However, it's obvious.

If we can't finish our foundation classes, we won't be able to get into the commandeering class.

Say, by the way, do you know that the store's selling choux creme!

Is it really true!

It's true!

See you at school!

Okay! See you later at school!

I'm sorry for what happened all of a sudden.

Oh no. You've made more friends, haven't you?

You're incredible, Kazumi-chan!

Oh, that's not true!

It would be so nice if I were also at the Holmes Detective Academy.

It's troublesome the things we go through!

In addition, Shion-san completely objects to the idea.

Yes. Onii-chan would only allow it if I went to a different detective academy.

Does Shion-san continue to overly worry about you!

Yes. He's been especially worried these days.

It's like he's been overly worried about my grades.

Oh!

Huh!

Eh!

It's Milky-san!

Oh, they're in a place like this!

Incredible! The crepes that Milky-san eat!

As usual, you like Milky Holmes, don't you!

Yes! It's because they're adorable, cool, and incredible detectives!

I'm definitely going to aspire to be like them!

I guess...

Milky Holmes really exists, right!

Huh!

They were the great detectives that saved the city of Yokohama from the phantom thieves.

No one here hasn't heard of them.

Yet, I haven't even seen a trace of them since I entered Holmes Detective Academy.

Milky-san is probably out and busy.

They haven't been called to work lately, though.

Not to mention, the leader of the phantom thieves has been in hiding.

That's true.

There's been no news.

Therefore, regular folks think of Milky Holmes as just a legend.

Here.

Oh! Thank you.

It would be nice if I could be as legendary as Milky Holmes.

Eh!

Of course, you wouldn't like me like that.

However, if it comes to it...

...it would be nice if we can become great detectives like Milky Holmes!

Kazumi-chan...

Oh well. I'm just talking about the near future.

That's why we're aiming to become detectives.

Don't you think so, Alice!

It's incredible! You have such a lofty goal!

You're incredible, Kazumi-chan!

Haha! I suppose I'm incredible.

Kazumi-chan, I had a good time.

Is that so?

Yes! It's just like you to have such a lofty goal since your mother and father are detectives.

It has nothing to do with my parents.

We live totally separate lives.

That's not true!

It is!

My father is rarely at home because he tries to make overtime pay.

As for my mother, I have no idea what she's doing, and she's often not at home.

It's like they don't care about me.

I don't want to be like my parents.

At the age of ten, I wanted to become a detective.

I want to be a famous detective that catches phantom thieves and upholds justice!

You're so cool, Kazumi-chan!

However, I wonder why the phantom thieves have gone into hiding.

Huh!

Well, due the efforts of Milky Holmes, the incident involving the phantom thieves have been resolved.

But the perpetrators themselves are not finished, right!

It would be nice if they could crack down on them more heavily, right!

That would be incredible, Kazumi-chan! However...

...doesn't that mean that we wouldn't have jobs!

Yeah...

Akechi-senpai, my work is done.

Okay. Good work.

Even if phantom thieves don't show up, we still have to do traffic enforcement.

I'm extremely honored to have Akechi Kokoro-san of the famous Genius 4, personally mentor me.

Hmmph! I don't want to hear such tripe.

By the way, where is everyone else!

They're doing desk work right now.

General affairs, accounting, and personnel administration.

It's best for me to stay on the scene.

Emergency transmission.

Phantom thieves last sighted at the City Museum.

Genius 4, make your way to the scene.

They're here! It's the long awaited dispatch!

Totsugawa, start driving the car!

But, I'm from the traffic enforcement...

This is an emergency!

Yes, ma'am!

They're at the Animal Exhibits! They're at the Central Gallery too!

The phantom thieves simultaneously appeared at different places...

Which way do we go!

I don't care which way we go! Just take us to the nearest crime scene!

Yes, ma'am!

It's getting quite late, isn't it?

Yes!

However, it was fun!

It's about time we went home!

Huh!

What is that!

Could it be a phantom thief!

Let's go after him!

Okay!

Hold it right there!

Which way did he go?

If I think about the psychological aspects of the criminal, it's a good possibility that he'll head right.

Kazumi-chan! Over there!

Something he dropped?

Leave an indicator, Alice!

You're not getting away, phantom thief!

A detective! No, just a student.

Hold it right there!

Even though I don't have a license...

...I have the right to catch you in the commission of a crime!

Eat my Toys!

You're not getting away this time!

Are you all right, Kazumi-chan!

Yes.

You should play detectives only during school time.

You should reflect on what you have done!

Is that so?

Wait. Something is coming.

You all, as if you are detectives, were able to foil my grand plan!

Who is it!

Over there!
