A chunk of skin had been completely torn off.

and maybe because I was under anesthesia for that long

I remember mumbling to myself.

After the surgery

I've been having the exact same thoughts every single day lately.

So when a project ends

I think, "This is completely out of my hands now."

I'd hope it came out looking pretty.

but now, it's like "I've done all I can do."

And when you look at it cosmically

from space, the Earth is smaller than a speck of dust.
