Georgios Kyriacos Panayiotou is my real name.

And do you ever... Snappy little pop name. Do you ever...

Do you ever pick up the phone and say, "This is..."?

Uh, no. Not now. And can you speak Greek? No.

I can speak the occasional swear word.

Because, of course, you know, my mother used to use the Greek

swear words when we were somewhere public

cos she didn't want people to know what she was saying.

She would say the words in Greek and quietly

and we knew exactly what they meant.

So, your nickname is not a swear word?

No, my nickname comes from the fact that Andrew Ridgeley

came home with me when I was about 13...or 12.

He hadn't met my parents yet. And heard them calling me Georgio,

which is the, you know, it's the...

In Greek, if you're talking TO someone, you remove the S,

if you're talking ABOUT them, you put the S back.

So they call me Georgio. Right?

So Andrew went back to school and said, "Everybody, look -

"they call him yoghurt at home!" So...

So I was Yoghurt for years and then I got abbreviated to Yog,

so my closest friends all call me Yog.
