Here's what we're doing with Giggler. We're setting up an algorithm, a piece of software

that'll know what you want to see based on what you've seen before, based on your buying habits.

We're tracking everything based on your votes on videos, your reviews on videos.

So when you go to the Giggler.com homepage, the media, the news, the video content is going to be exactly what you want.

We met at a place called DMV-EZ.

and what it did is I think it turned into the web equivalent of standing in line at the DMV.

Well, it's just a website that people dreaded going to and couldn't wait to leave.

And we both started hating our job at the same time. We'd leave work together and we kind of commiserate.

We were like, you know, we should do something together. We should, you know, for fun.

And so that's kind of where Giggler started. It was just the two of us getting drunk together,

searching the web for shit that would make each other laugh.

And so this is not all our offices. We have a lot of office space here, but we do share it with another company.

So you moved to Cleveland because of the divorce.

Well, I moved back to Cleveland. I'm originally from here, went out to the West Coast, got married, and yes, I did come back.

Due to the divorce, but, you know, it was kind of a double thing.

I was going to stay in Silicon Valley working at DMV easy with Chris, but then we started running ads, and we started making money, and, you know, then things became real.

Do you want to talk about your kids?

No, no, no, not right now. I mean, you know, I have two fantastic kids, but I don't think that's, you know, it's part of something that we should put on so.

Yeah, so what do you think is like your philosophy on life?

Whenever you find yourself on the side of the majority, it is time to pause and reflect. Mark Twain.

So, yeah, I just don't, I just don't ever want to be in the majority.

I think that I have something to offer, and when I see too many people surrounding me, I know that it's a sign that I should put my talents elsewhere because there's something new that needs to be developed that people aren't looking at yet.

Life is not a dress rehearsal. That's something that I've always lived by. You know, I have a thing on my wall, on my office wall, from John D. Rockefeller.

But he says, I was early taught to work as well as play. My life has been one long, happy holiday.

Full of work and full of play. Here's the important line.

I lost the worry on the way, and God was good to me every day.

This is our fun area. This is, you know, other sakutramah, golden tea, pulled table, and of course, food.

Oh, cham. I prefer red personally, but you know, that's just how I like to do it.

If you take a break from your day and you do something like this, you are more productive at the end of the day than working straight through.

So like a half hour, we always say something light-hearted like this, and that's why we're successful.

That was an exciting part, I think. You know, this is definitely not even safe.

I don't know what they are, but we share space with them.

So like what's your day-to-day, like what do you do?

Day-to-day, one of the main things I do is I sell the ad space.

Now when we started Giggler, we had banner ads. Okay, we had banner ads that we click.

Now it's more about pre-rolls. So I'm selling those. I'm getting clients to buy those, which is keeping the lights on.

But I'm also the idea man.

I identify the needs of our customers. I create a product that fulfills those needs, and I do it with humility and confidence.

And that is what people expect me to do day-to-day at this job. And I think I do it pretty well.

I think our success speaks for itself.

Why do you guys live together?

Well, Tom's been over for now six months.

If it's not exactly six months, it's close.

Do you guys honestly live well together, or is that the thing that you just saved from the time?

No, we've got to show the screening room.

and I have to make sure that people are actually engaging with the content, and then the clicks

equal cash.

What do you hope is the future of the company?

Giggler in three years, 30% of our users have us as homepage.

That is the ultimate goal.

We are people's first connection when they turn on their computer, when they go on to

the internet.

tour said why aren't there rich people, millionaires everywhere?

I want to be a doctor but it's a lot of hard work.
