My journey here in this competition has been wild.

I actually have a bionic spine.

When I was 14, I had a tumour in my neck.

The tumour had completely eaten up at my spine.

It has been a long road getting to the final four.

- But a few very stressful moments on the road as well.

Growing up in Florida, I saw "Drag Race" for the first time,

and everything that I thought was wrong about myself,

you kind of told me it's okay.

And here I am a few years later on the show in the top four.

Now, Jewels, looking back over your life,

what advice would you offer to five-year-old Dario?

- Aw.

- Oh, my God. Look at that.

- I would say all your dreams are gonna come true.

You will one day become the little Barbie doll

that you play with every single day.

But the road to get there, it won't be easy.

You're gonna lose faith.

You're gonna get sick.

You're gonna get scared, and you're gonna doubt yourself.

Build a better relationship with your brother

because you might not have him for a very long time,

but the one thing you have that's gonna keep you going

is you've always known who you are.

The people around you have always supported you

to be who you are.

But I'm a product of immigration,

and I'm proof that the American dream can still exist.

My parents came here for that dream, and here I am,

a little Latino kid, you know, on "Drag Race" in the top four.

And if I can do it, I think there are

so many people who deserve that same chance,

the community celebration.

And they need a superhero right now.

My journey has been one unique hell

of a roller coaster ride.

My biggest struggle in the competition,

honestly, was just dealing with my own emotions.

And that's the last thing I wanted to serve

because I have a lot of beautiful things

I want people to see.

- You're inspiring so many trans women out there.

- Honestly, being here is the first time

that I've been able to, like, just fully embrace it.

- I think developing a new sense of self

throughout this competition

has allowed me to rewrite my story.

The biggest thing that I have learned

is that I'm a superstar.

One of my favourites would have to be the Snatch Game.

I think one of my biggest struggles in the competition,

besides the sewing challenges, would probably be

getting out of my own way

and not taking everything so serious.

and we're supposed to be sharing.

At first, I was so focused on the game.

I am just so happy.

We made it through.

But I realised that the relationships

that you build with your community

is way more important.

to show that even people from Alabama

are fabulous drag queens, okay?

- Hey, Sam, what words of wisdom do you have to share

with your three-year-old self?

- Oh, my God.

Look, I was even wearing gay pride shirts then.

I would say, Sam, it's gonna be hard a lot of your life

because you're gonna feel like you don't fit in

and you don't belong.

And don't let what the outside world says about you

stop you from dreaming.

because he's always done it.
