This neural network could be
collecting information...

..and artificially replicating
a person's mental processes.

diseases and radiation tests.

since World War II on innocent civilians.

where the others had failed.

It wasn't a leper and it wasn't human.

And I know what I saw
at the research facility.

It was barely recognisable as human.

Don't you see? You're doing their work
for them, chasing aliens that aren't there,...

..helping to create a story to cover the truth.
What they can't cover, they apologise for.
