Char and his men fearlessly infiltrated Jaburo, the Earth Federation Forces Headquarters.

However, thanks to the heroic efforts of Katz, Letz and Kikka,

he was forced to retreat before the Gundam could pursue him.

That was Char!

Zanzibar, In Pursuit!

Zanzibar, In Pursuit!

The Tianem Fleet will launch from Jaburo at 2100 hours.

I want the White Base to launch two hours ahead of schedule.

A full two hours ahead, sir?

That's right.

We'll be sending three other decoy ships as well.

The Tianem Fleet will head directly to Luna II

while the White Base will head in the opposite direction.

Then we will move in to attack Zeon's space fortress, Solomon.

Yes, sir.

The White Base will launch tonight at 1900 hours.

Ensign Mirai, take good care of yourself.

Thank you, Admiral.

It's all right.

If Solomon falls, the Zeon will lose their national resources,

effectively forcing them to approach us with a peace treaty.

That would be the end of the war.

If that happens, let me find you a husband.

R-Right...

Oh, right. You have a fiancé.

Sorry about that.

No, it's...

All that "fiancé" talk is just between our parents.

Where is he?

He ran off to Side 6 to avoid the war.

I suppose it worked out for the best.

Right.

Welcome back!

The White Base will be departing in one hour.

Until then, prepare all sections for launch.

Hey, who's in charge of the White Base corps?

What do you want with him?

Where is he?

Mr. Bright! You have a visitor.

Who is it?

I'm Lieutenant Sleggar Law.

I was transferred here today.

Mirai, have you heard anything about this?

Here it is!

Man, I sure am lucky to be on the same ship as a babe like you.

Pleased to meet you.

I'm Mirai Yashima.

Hi!

Hello, miss.

I'm Sayla Mass.

You look like you're having trouble with a man.

So, where's are my quarters?

The first step in this great battle relies on your courageous actions.

Should the Federation Forces emerge victorious from this battle,

today would be remembered as a turning point in our history.

To achieve this, all of our soldiers must fight their hardest.

He's a great, big guy, just like Mr. Ryu was!

I wonder if he's as nice as Ryu.

They say he's really stuck up.

At last, we're ready for launch!

All hands to battle stations!

Release the docking locks!

The White Base is taking off!

Skies are clear! Open the hatch!

Wow! Birds!

They're so pretty!

Anyone who's not busy, take a look to port.

It's a flock of flamingos!

This would be great on video.

Yeah, go ahead and tape it.

What's happening with the Trojan Horse, Lieutenant Tokwan?

Sir.

It seems they have departed from Jaburo in South America.

Okay.

Move it!

They'll be in battle range in thirty minutes, sir.

Good work.

Did Lady Kycilia seem angry?

Yes, sir.

I had a feeling she would be.

But if I hadn't run into the Zanzibar testing the Bigro,

I would've lost my chance to pursue the Trojan Horse.

Captain Char.

Would you like to see the Bigro?

Yes, show me.

Maybe it'll help me think of a new plan.

When it comes to high-speed combat,

this Bigro mobile armor blows mobile suits right off the scale.

But one machine isn't enough to build a strategy around.

We also have two Doms and an untested mobile armor, sir.

Doms? Aren't they for land combat?

These are called "Rick Doms" and have upgraded verniers, sir.

They've been fitted for space use?

They're much more effective than the Zakus.

Make it quick!

We're about to launch!

Assemble the pilots.

As soon as we know where the Trojan Horse is headed, we'll move in and attack!

Yes, sir!

Looks like a Zanzibar-class battleship is on our tail.

At that speed, they'll catch up to us in twenty minutes.

It's a direct attack.

Okay, remain on this course.

We'll accelerate to point E-3.

Yes, sir.

If we do that, it should look like the White Base is headed for the Moon.

That's the idea.

Char's coming.

He's definitely coming for us.

Sayla, what are you still doing here?

You're running out of time to check the G-Armor!

I'm sorry.

How can you be sure that Char is coming?

No reason in particular.

I just think there's some kind of fateful attraction between Char and the White Base.

Are you scared?

Aren't we all?

What do you think, Mirai?

She's obviously tired.

That must be why she seemed so afraid.

I suppose.

We have the Trojan Horse's projected course.

It looks like they're headed for the Moon now!

The Moon?

They're going after Lady Kycilia's Granada base!

Not a chance.

What?

We've been tricked.

The Trojan Horse is a decoy.

Another fleet is probably launching from Jaburo in South America as we speak.

Then we should change course!

Are you serious?

If we turn our backs, the Trojan Horse will attack us.

We have no choice but to pull off a preemptive strike.

Yes, sir!

We've spotted the Zanzibar!

Maximum magnification!

How many minutes before they attack?

Let me check.

At their current velocity, we'll be under attack in two minutes, twenty seconds.

Amuro and Sayla, to the G-Sky and G-Bull!

Prepare to launch!

Guncannon, stand by and wait for your orders!

Open all artillery platforms!

Open beam cannons!

Tokwan, are you ready to launch the Bigro?

Yes, sir!

Rick Doms, prepare to launch after the Bigro.

Tokwan and Rick Doms, launching.

G-Sky! G-Bull E-Z! Launch on the double!

Deploy from the White Base's rear and destroy the enemy mobile suits!

You look like you're having trouble with a man.

If you're going to take revenge on the Zabi family, I won't stand back and watch you waste your life.

G-Sky, heading out!

G-Bull E-Z, launching!

Sayla! Distance yourself a little!

If we're too close, they could take us both out at once!

Roger!

Try to be careful!

If you go too fast, the gravity will force you into free-fall!

Just maneuver by constantly ascending!

Thanks. I'll be careful.

They're here!

Counter with the rear missiles, quickly!

Here they come.

Okay, watch this!

He's fast!

Is the Bigro too fast for you?

It's so powerful!

But you made one mistake!

My beam cannons!

Wait!

What if my brother is piloting this mobile armor?

No, Sayla! Ascend!

Looks like three enemy mobile suits!

We'll have to send out the Guncannon too!

All right.

Have Kai launch in the Guncannon.

Where's Lieutenant Sleggar?

Hey!

What is it?

I'm right below the bridge.

What do you specialize in?

I'm good with artillery and fighter planes.

Would you take command of the main cannons, Lieutenant?

Under one condition.

Condition?

Turn the White Base toward the enemy.

We're in inertial flight, so you should be able to.

But then they'll catch us.

Then no can do.

I wouldn't hit anything.

Listen! Only attack for 15 seconds!

If we attack any longer than that, we could shoot at our own mobile suits.

Oh, man! This is it!

We'll get 'em with the rear machine guns!

Yeah!

Go get 'em!

That damned Trojan Horse has improved quite a bit.

I wonder if they have a new captain.

No, it's just not possible.

A civilian can't just join the military and get into a ship like the Trojan Horse.

Artesia.

Artesia.

She was wearing a Federation uniform when I saw her.

But she was so intelligent, and she hated wars more than anyone.

There's no way she'd ever get on a battleship again.

All right! Hold your fire in three seconds!

Hit your mark!

Sorry, I didn't mean to do that.

Hey, Lieutenant Bright!

Lieutenant, allow me to remind you.

You may be older than me, but I'm in command of this ship!

That's...

No problem.

Thank you.

That's why I asked you.

Turn hard to starboard so I can use the White Base's main cannons.

Not now! Wait a little while longer!

There's no thrust!

Why isn't it increasing?

Firing rear missiles at plus 12 degrees!

I'll show you how to put up a missile barrage!

He's now beneath me?

Here we go!

Keep it up.

If you keep trying to go underneath me, you'll get sucked into free-fall!

Then again...

One of the three enemy units is a mobile armor!

Hurry with the launch of the Guncannon!

Kai, what are you doing?

It's a long story, all right?

The catapult is okay.

Go back up Amuro and Sayla!

Roger! I'm on my way!

Secure the Guntank at the runway exit.

We'll try to use it as a gun turret.

Got that?

Roger that.

I'll tell Hayato.

Bring the White Base about 180 degrees!

Good call, Lieutenant Bright.

You're doing fine.

How about taking your position at the main cannons?

Mirai! I'm leaving the ship in your hands!

Take good care of it!

Where could they be?

I can't stay depressed like this forever.

I don't know how Amuro and Sayla can keep fighting the way they do.

At this rate...

I'll pulverize you!

It's only a matter of time!

Sayla!

Is that Kai?

Good! Now I'm going to convert to the Gundam!

I need to slow that thing down!

I have to try.

One direct hit and she's done for, but I've got to stop her from plummeting.

Good!

Are you ready? I'm about to dock!

Sayla, are you all right?

Yes.

Hurry up, Amuro.

Right.

What kind of person do you think might be piloting that mobile armor, Amuro?

Why do you care?

Never mind.

Amuro! A Dom is approaching!

Hurry up!

Okay!

Amuro!

It's okay! I can handle this!

G-Fighter, docking complete!

Our mobile suits have decreased their altitudes.

We can now open fire on the enemy.

All hands, prepare to fire at the enemy ship!

It's too bad we can't use our J-type missiles.

Prepare the main cannons!

We'll attack them while we dodge their fire!

Aim carefully!

Entering firing range in thirty seconds!

Who has the longer firing range? Us, or the Trojan Horse?

Only God knows.

Artesia, are you on board?

Evasive maneuvers every three seconds.

Roger.

Entering firing range in twenty seconds!

Firing in twenty seconds!

Fifteen seconds!

All hands, prepare to fire!

I don't know how powerful the White Base's main cannons are.

Let's find out.

Three!

Two!

One!

Now!

They fired! Let's return fire!

Wait!

Hold your fire!

Lure them closer!

Fire missiles consecutively!

Good! That's long enough!

Fire!

Damn Zanzibar!

I'll shoot you down somehow!

Okay! Put us on a collision course for the Trojan Horse!

But, sir!

It'll work better than escaping aimlessly!

Trust me!

Yes, sir!

The Zanzibar isn't trying to evade!

They're on a collision course!

They're what?!

Mirai! Hard to starboard!

It's Char!

He's the only one who would dare to fight like this!

It's just as Sayla said!

Char is after us!

The Trojan Horse is starting to panic.

Gunners! Aim carefully!

Why, you!

Was that a direct hit?!

How was that?

That'll teach you to try to ram into my ship!

Fire rear missiles!

Not yet!

I won't run from you!

Where's the other Dom?

Where's the Gundam?!

Okay!

The faster it is, the less accurate the shot!

I'll show you what the Bigro can do!

Something grabbed onto me.

Could it be the Gundam?

Wait! If it was, the pilot would've fainted from the sudden acceleration!

That's it!

What?!

That didn't affect the pilot at all?!

Where are the other mobile suits and the Zanzibar?

One mobile suit has retreated.

Are you all right, Amuro?

They wiped out Tokwan!

Captain Char!

Please allow me to launch!

Hold on.

They're like a rabbit trapped in our backyard.

We'll have plenty more chances.

Yes, sir!

Repair the damaged sections immediately!

Sayla, what's going on?

Back there, you asked who I thought was piloting the mobile armor.

Because I thought he was a tough opponent.

That's the only reason.

Is that so?

The first stage is a success.

Yeah, we sure threw the Zanzibar for a loop.

Lieutenant Sleggar! You're in top form.

You were the only one with a direct hit.

That was just a fluke.

But it was the whole crew who did well.

Yes. Good work, everyone.

The enemy is getting faster.

How did it go?

It was scary when we passed the Zanzibar.

It seemed like those were Char's tactics.

Char?

Yeah.

Nobody else could strategize like that.

You know, I really do admire you, Sayla.

You shot down a mobile suit.

Great job.

Come on, I barely did it.

Don't try to play it down.

I can tell that you've got amazing strength.

All right, I'm going to take a shower.

You only have five minutes.

The Zeon will be back in no time.

Roger.

Would you like to join me, Mirai?

I'll have to pass.

Whatever.

Well, let's go!

Let's go!

Okay!

Come on! Let's go with them!

After the White Base had eluded Char,

they are met by a Musai fleet commanded by Lieutenant Dren.

Sleggar fights them off as the Gundam stages a deadly attack on the Musais.

Mobile Suit Gundam.
