that belief which is why we were so
completely unprepared when she died

surviving her prognosis.

I realized that her doctor sold her a
fantasy because he couldn't bear to help

I believe that as doctors, we are not in
the business of selling fantasies. I

believe that we are in the business of

is that when I'm honest with my
