to take this leap
into my acting career,

gonna be a monologue.

it's a truth-teller.

The scariest part
of this process

is actually not even

and my goal is to be able
to walk down the path

without freaking out
and running away.

the Braxtons to Broadway

and I cannot wait

to talk about
what an amazing
opportunity this could be.

These guys have produced
big Broadway shows

like "Spiderman:
Turn off the Dark"

and "Ghost the Musical."

They definitely know
what they're doing.

We wanted
to get together today

and talk about, uh,
the Braxton family
on Broadway.

David Garfinkle: Great.
Certainly the family

has an incredible
musical legacy.

And if you look
at what's going on
on Broadway right now,

people are
really interested
in the stories

of some
of the iconic singers

and families.

We would obviously
need to brainstorm

and come down as to
which and what stories
we're going to tell

and how are we
gonna tell them.

And then the music
continues to buttress that.

Sitting here
thinking about it,

I'm thinking
of the Braxton family show

being the modern day
"Dreamgirls"

because our story
is not too farfetched
from that.

At the end of the day,
everybody has the same dream.

And of course
with that being said,

you know,
there's a lot of obstacles

that we all had to come,
you know, over.

I think so many people
can relate to that.
That's a really great idea.

That is an
interesting take on it.

Child, we can all make
some gold, old sleep money
doing this kind of show.

That's when you're
sleeping at home

and you're comfortable
in your socks in your bed

and you're still
making that coin.

Implementing our story
and where we come from

and to the point
where we are now,

I think, would be
a very interesting story

- people would love to see.

they're gonna be
just as elated as I am.
