Original subtitles

The flames of anger will breakthrough the cage of destiny

But I will be reborn from the flame

How can serpent and sparrow devour the true dragon

Against all odds, not trusting in fate

Path of revenge, battle of destiny

Against the roaring wild wind, to the heaven I smile

Fearless of the rising tides, my battle spirit boils

Shedding blood in the face of adversity

Promising my life to protect this realm

One stroke to wield the heaven, one hand to rule the world

The journey home is the precarious balance of fate

I breath in the earth and sea, I can swallow the heavens and nine plains

This battle, peace to the world

I breath in the earth and sea, I can swallow the heavens and nine plains

Dragon Prince Yuan: The Eight Meridians reappear Episode Four

Victory, Zhou Yuan. [Huang Subs]

[Huang Subs]

[Huang Subs] His Highness won!

[Huang Subs] That kick from His Highness is really strong!

[Huang Subs] Yeah.

[Huang Subs] His Physical condition

[Huang Subs] is stronger than three meridians.

[Huang Subs] I didn't think his highness would be this

[Huang Subs] strong, even without the Yuan Glyph.

[Huang Subs]

[Huang Subs] Congratulations, your highness,

[Huang Subs] you've moved onto the next round. Zhao Ling

[Huang Subs]

[Huang Subs] You hid really deep.

Well I was training hard,

so I didn't get a chance to tell you.

Looks like Zhou Yuan played us.

That kick clearly used Yuan Energy,

his meridians are open.

How's that possible?

His Eight Meridians can't show up,

everyone in the Great Zhou Academy knows that.

How did he suddenly open his meridians?

No matter,

he couldn't have opened that many meridians.

Previously, Pei Yun let his guard down and lost,

if he had been prepared,

Zhou Yuan might not have won.

Zhou Yuan,

you better not lose,

before we have our face off.

I guess Lin Feng

is already working with Qi Yue.

Just birds of a feather.

Your Highness,

you still haven't told me,

how many meridians you've opened.

Just two.

You opened two?

With your mastery of the Yuan Glyph,

you can possibly get into the top ten.

Next round,

Su You Wei,

Zhao Feng,

Begin.

Victory, Su You Wei.

Shi Yu Shi Yu wins.

Open three meridians!

Lin Feng is indeed the strongest among the new students,

he's most likely the number one this time.

I give up.

Stop!

Save me!

The goal of the competition

is exchange of skills, not harm lives.

Your Highness,

Lin Feng is crossing the line.

Four meridians...

Congratulations to the top 40 advancing to the next round.

Up next, we'll start the second round.

Su You Wei is really strong.

Shi Yu,

you'll be facing Zhou Yuan next round,

make sure you win with the swiftness of thunder.

Young Prince, rest assured,

even a lion will go all out to catch a rabbit.

I won't give him any chance.

Zhou Yuan versus Shi Yu.

Begin!

Open three meridians.

What?

Should we continue?

I, I give up.

Excellent!

This is great!

Your Highness, your Highness!

Amazing!

His Highness Zhou Yuan!

He sure is melodramatic.

The top 20 students are here,

congratulations to all.

Up next,

we'll start the third round.

The winners will be the examinations top 10,

you'll have the right to choose a court.

Next round is

Zhou Yuan,

Lin Feng.

Waste him.

His Highness Zhou Yuan just finished a round,

why is he already in another round?

I think the competition order might be wrong.

Yeah.

He's against Lin Feng,

who has opened four meridians.

After today,

expel the chief examiners from the Great Zhou Academy.

Yes sir.

Don't you think that's excessive, headmaster?

You know what you did,

and,

I'm the headmaster.

You're in no position to tell me what's excessive.

Zhou Yuan has no chance this time.

Are you guys just ganging up

to bully someone!?

Silence,

who gave you the right to disrupt the competition?

This is unfair,

someone had a hand in this!

Don't worry.

Hey,

where are you looking?

Ever since You Wei entered the Great Zhou Academy,

her eyes were only on you, Zhou Yuan,

and no one else.

Defeating you is the way

to let her see me.

You Wei, You Wei,

you really a troublemaker. T/L Note: 红颜祸水 (hóng yán huò shuǐ) means beautiful females is the source of misfortune, there's no English equivalent.

I'm afraid

you're not there yet.

You can't talk your way out of this.

Competition start!

Why is Lin Feng stalling?

I didn't expect his Highness, Zhou Yuan being this strong,

he's actually neck to neck with the favored Lin Feng.

This could lead to an upset.

Four meridians,

open!

Dragon Step,

dragon hidden within the cloud,

intangible and elusive,

impossible to fathom.

Let your Yuan Energy vibrate the air,

creating an effect similar to mirage.

Causing your enemy's attack seems

to miss by a hair, but really thousand miles away.

It's this strange agility technique again,

but,

that ends here!

Mid-class Yuan Technique,

Demon Bull Step!

Not good,

Iron Skin Glyph.

You can't even take a hit.

One hit?

We've been going for awhile.

You!

Is this the ace up your sleeves,

three elementary Yuan Glyphs?

Those won't help you.

Allow me to show you the gap between us, your Highness.

mid-grade Yuan Technique,

Demonic Iron Wall.

It absorbed my attacks.

Have a taste!

Again?

Demonic Iron Wall is the peak of mid-grade Yuan Technique,

not only does it have strong defense,

it can also reflect part of attacks.

Lin Feng will win for sure.

I'll let you be defeated by your own attacks!

Soon,

your humiliation will spread all over the Great Zhou Academy!

Your time with the three Yuan Glyph is almost up, right?

Without the Yuan Glyph's help,

how will you dodge this attack!

Who said I wanted to dodge?

You're overreaching!

Two meridians

open!

Die!

His Highness sure is strong!

He had another ace up his sleeves.

Seriously, his Highness actually opened two meridians.

You're all but exhausted!

Zhou Yuan,

other than being the Crown Prince,

do you surpass me in anything!?

what determines ones fate,

was never ones status.

But ones strength from cultivation.

What a joke,

if you weren't the Crown Prince,

why would You Wei has her eyes on you?

You're destined to be trample by me, Lin Feng!

Demon Bull Step!

Another Yuan Glyph?

First class Yuan Glyph,

Roaring Tiger Glyph!

That attack won't work on me!

Dragon Breathe Technique!

Dragon Stele Hand,

emphasize the power of ferocity and weight,

like a giant dragon shattering stele and mountains.

Dragon Stele Hand,

mountain shattering!

Break!

I give up.

Amazing!

His Highness won!

His Highness defeated Lin Feng!

Zhou Yuan is so strong!

How is this possible?

This can't the be power of two meridians!

No matter how much some people scheme,

in the end, they end up with nothing.

It's time to announce the winner.

Zhou, Zhou Yuan wins.

His Highness,

His Highness, his Highness! [Huang Subs]

[Huang Subs] Everything the Great Zhou lost,

[Huang Subs] I will take back everything, one by one.

[Huang Subs]

[Huang Subs] The Zhou Family's useless dragon,

wants to rise from the ashes?

Keep dreaming.

Yuan Technique So-called Yuan Technique allows one to unleash their Yuan Energy with great power. Under the heaven, the Yuan Technique is divided into four categories: Ordinary, Xuan, Heavenly, and Sacred. The higher the grade of the Yuan Technique, the greater demand it places on one's body.

Wind gliding embracing the vast sky, soaring across the starlit waves

Crossing thousands of miles in a leap

The brighter the light, the tougher the road, the harder it comes by

Fate falls on all, burdened with shackles

The stubborn heart can't be shackled

Looking to the sky of hope

Charging full force, this journey is not in vain

No one can decide for me

Born with courage and fearless

Unafraid of perilous road, I hold my own fate

Looking forward, never look back

A new journey with friends side by side

Don't fall short of youth, vigor, fearlessness, and courage

Turbulent winds and roaring waves

I'm riding the waves

I venture through the danger

Unfazed by pain

Even in despair, I will find new life

Spirit crossing thousand miles, singing to the heaven

A flare of brilliance in my heart

The more despair the road, the further I walk, the brighter it burns

Fate falls on all, burdened with shackles

The stubborn heart can't be shackled

Looking to the sky of hope

Charging full force, this journey is not in vain

My courage ready for the next journey
