The wrap is so, so
bad from stone chips,

I'm actually thinking
of re-wrapping it now.

but at five months old,
the wrap is starting

to show signs of wear and tear.

Now, he's saying goodbye andletting his children take

NARRATOR: Yianni's
a hands-on boss,

but he's been asked to stayaway for this team briefing.

His boys have decided
that their color

change will remain a surpriseuntil the final reveal.

Today we're wrapping
Daddy's Lamborghini

Aventador S in satin purple--

--with reflective
black Tron line.

And we're keeping
it a secret, so he

has no idea what the color is.

OK.

Strippers, will you be ableto strip this Lamborghini?

The big problem is at the backthere, the two rear quarters.

Wrappers, what are yougoing to have problems with?

It's going to be
difficult for us,

because it's your dad's car.

There's going to be
more pressure on us.

NARRATOR: Yianni's
team have been wrapping

supercars for 10 years.

But this one's the boss's,so they know the work

has to be second to none.

end of the first day,

and the strip down is on target.

has wrapped hundreds

of cars for celebrities.

From footballers to actors,many have become friends.

Today, one of them
is on his way in.

YIANNI: Oh, stranger.

a little while.

NARRATOR: Aston Merrygoldbecame a famous singer

with boy band JLS, andhe's a regular face on TV.

This is the fifth carAston's brought to Yianni,

and it's a bruiser
of an off-roader.

ASTON MERRYGOLD: Ugh.
- --and it looked crazy.

you're used to kind
of seeing, though.

YIANNI: It was very different.

I mean, get up and dance.

I was out of my comfort

NARRATOR: Aston's after asubtle tweak for his Merc.

Its powerful V6 and boldstyling draw a lot of attention.

But Aston wants
just a little more.

I just think beautiful,
front looks mean--

from the back, she's a bit--

I don't know-- she's
a bit too sweet.

It just needs to
look a bit meaner.

YIANNI: So what
are you thinking?

The lights always
feel a bit bright to me.

OK, against the
red, obviously.

ASTON MERRYGOLD: Yeah.YIANNI: It's too much red.

Too much.

OK, so do you
want a light smoke,

or like a dark
smoke on the back?

Let's go for dark.
Let's really mean it up.

Yeah, yeah, yeah.

OK, well, let's get
the boys on it, yeah?

All right.

YIANNI: Cool.

NARRATOR: In the backworkshop, the old red chrome

wrap is being removed, revealingthe beautiful gray paintwork.

Pav and Mike are
stripping the car down,

and Yianni just can't stay away.

YIANNI: How are we
getting on, boys?

Not bad.

What have you done to my car?

No pressure.

With you, there's
never any pressure.

You see, they got a mark--

either side, exactly
the same place.

And I think it's that bolt.While you've got the door

cards off, I'm going
to re-tint the window,

because of the damage.

Listen, on all Lamborghinis,it's just a standard thing.

You know, these windows weren'tdesigned for a tint, really.

Yeah, but the
tint is so thin--

Yeah, but it doesn't--
it doesn't damage

the window though, does it?

NARRATOR: It sounds a
simple thing to fix,

but with a highly
engineered Lamborghini,

subtlety and skill are needed.

Angle grinder?

- No.
- Come on!

I love to use an angle grinder.

Use on your own car, mate.

NARRATOR: Mike can't dealwith the windows yet.

The car needs to be completelystripped before the new wrap

can begin, and there's anarea which the strippers

predicted would be tough--

two large air
intakes where vinyl

is pinched between the bodyworkand a carbon fiber vent.

So the next
problem on the Lambo

are these rear vents, just here.

The screws are actually inthrough the engine base.

I'm going to have to tryand loosen it off somehow,

so the boys can get the vinylout, and obviously, re-wrap.

NARRATOR: If the vents
can't be removed,

it's going to hold
up everything.

These cars are meant tobe driven, not dismantled.

And reaching the
screws is tough.

MIKE: You sure I
didn't take these off?

So it needs to go in
through the engine bay.

NARRATOR: It's a tricky job.

Mike's got to keep
a steady hand,

because if the car
is damaged, Yianni's

going to be a very unhappy man.

Because there's only alittle bit of a gap in now,

I can only turn the tool so far.

If the screw falls into theengine, it's a big issue.

A very big issue.

NARRATOR: Yianni's
gone out on a limb--

ANDREAS: I'm thinking green.

NARRATOR: --letting
his children choose

a new color for his supercar.

Remember, it's
my car, so go easy.

NARRATOR: And everyone iskeeping the new color a secret.

What color was it again?

Oh, don't try that, Yian.

NARRATOR: Wrapping supercarstakes immense skill,

and the pressure of workingon the boss's is pushing

Yianni's staff to their limits.

MIKE: Difficult.
Really difficult.

When Yian gets mad--

oh, I don't want to
see that level, man.

Oh, stranger.

From the back, she's a bit--

well, it's a bit
too sweet, you know?

Just needs to look a bit meaner.

NARRATOR: It's a simple request,but Yianni's hoping to wow

his mate with something extra--

a pair of wrapped dancingshoes from his time

on "Strictly Come Dancing".

In the shop, the strippers areworking hard on the boss's car.

Lamborghinis aren'tdesigned to be pulled apart

every few months, but
the team have experience

with different supercars,and have developed

their own tricks of the trade.

Going to put a little bit ofa Blu Tack plaster [inaudible]

type of material on the end, sothe screw will hold on to that,

instead of falling
down into the engine.

NARRATOR: The screws holdthe side vents in place.

Once released, the last
pieces of the old wrap

can finally be removed.

Well, that's one.

Just one more to go.

And there she is, clips and all.

NARRATOR: Finally, theLambo is ready for the wrap.

To keep the color
a secret, the team

ban Yianni from the workshop.

Even the CCTV is off limits,with the back workshop

camera covered over.

YIANNI: What the hell is this?

"No entry" on the doors.

Have you seen this?

I'm barred.

Obviously, they'restarting laying my color.

BERT: Well, actually--

- What color is my car?
- Your car is gray.

No, they told me.
My kids told me.

They phoned me.- No, they didn't call you.

They're at school, mate.

They ain't got a phone.

[music playing]

NARRATOR: The vinyl
has finally arrived.

Mark has wrapped
over 30 Aventadors,

but there's one place thatis always tricky to reach.

It's the air intake
inside those rear vents.

I have to use the light to seeif the vinyl's all the way in.

And sometimes I can't see it,so I have to do it by touch

and feel.

Yeah, that looks good for me.

NARRATOR: With the rearworkshop locked and off limits,

Vas and Mikey work outfront on Aston's big Merc.

The rear lights
are getting smoked.

So we said dark tint?

Dark tint.

NARRATOR: It's a subtle change,but the devil is in the detail.

The material is
half transparent,

so we need to make
sure it's going

to be extra clean and withoutany bubbles or dust spots.

VASILE: Whatever dust youcatch underneath shows.

So it's difficult, I'll say.

NARRATOR: Normal vinyl isalso laced with air channels

to help release bubbles
trapped underneath.

This material doesn't havethe glue release system,

so we need to make
sure we squeeze out

all the air at the same time.

NARRATOR: Rear lights area straightforward job,

and cost around 200 pounds.

VASILE: Great job.
That's it.

Boom.

[music playing]

NARRATOR: The Lambo wrap
is progressing well.

So as their father would,Andreas and Nicholas

come to check on the work.

It looks amazing.

BOTH: [cheering]

NARRATOR: But unlike theirdad, they both dive in and help

with the wrapping itself.

ANDREAS: Oh, you make
it all [inaudible]..

MARK: Yeah.

NARRATOR: The base
wrap is complete,

but the boys have asked forreflective Tron lines, too.

It has to be a straightline, because if it's wonky,

it's going to look terrible.

NARRATOR: They're a futuristictouch inspired by sci-fi film

"Tron" and famously applied
by Yianni to superstar

YouTuber KSI's Lambo.

[engine revving]

[laughter]

The strips are packed
with tiny glass beads.

Just like cat's eyes,they'll glow in the dark.

This Tron line looks
normal at the moment,

but at night, when lighthits it, it will reflect.

It's going to look amazing.

NARRATOR: It's deadline
day on two cars.

First up, Aston's Merc.

YIANNI: Are we ready?

Here we go.

Whoo!

That's what I'm
talking about, bruv.

Now don't-- it just looks alot meaner at the back, right?

- Yeah it works now.
- It works.

Smashed it, bruv.

Smashed it.

OK, one thing.

NARRATOR: To mark his appearanceon "Strictly Come Dancing,"

Yianni's arranged a surprise.

Ashton's dancing shoes havebeen given the Yianni treatment.

And, listen, every time hehooks up one of my cars,

it's always brilliant.

But today, he just
went above and beyond,

and absolutely smashed it.

Wrapping my dance shoes--

yeah, that's a proper
mate right there.

NARRATOR: Back inside, work onthe Aventador is nearly done.

But Mike still needs to fix theproblematic door, which keeps

scratching the tinted glass.

MIKE: I've managed to findthe culprit that is damaging

Yian's tint on his window.

Now it is only,
like, millimeters.

So what I'm going to do
is actually just take

the tip off of this bolt off.

NARRATOR: It's a precision job.

Yeah, I think that'll work.

NARRATOR: If Mike's
not taken enough off,

the bolt will catch
the newly applied tint,

and he'll have to
find another solution.

[engine revs]

Moment of truth.

It's either going to be fine, orit's just going to totally rip

these tints apart.

As you can tell by my
face, it has worked.

Thank god.

Another job done.

NARRATOR: It's usually Yianniwho signs off on all wrap work.

Today, the tables are turned.

His two sons chose
the color and design,

so the final
inspection is theirs.

See if anything
looks good here.

NICHOLAS: Wow.

It's good in there.

The car looks amazing, butthe Tron lines aren't amazing.

Yeah, do you want
me to show you?

ANDREAS: Whoa, so cool.

MARK: So do you like it?

Then you're happy, guys?

NARRATOR: The boys are
happy with the work.

But for Yianni, there's
a lot on the line.
