It's the start of anotherday at the garage,

and there's a Mercedes
heading Yianni's way.

It's driven by Siva, a
property developer whose

flamboyant lifestyle
has earned him

a big social media following.

NARRATOR: The Mercedes AMG C63S is a brutal performance saloon

with loads of torque and snarl.

It packs a powerful twin turbocharged, 4 liter, V8 engine,

capable of a top speed
of 155 miles an hour.

Siva only accepts the best whenit comes to his fleet of cars,

and Yianni has just
three days to deliver.

[music playing]

YIANNI: Guys, let's have you in!

[music playing]

Here she is, C63 S
AMG in all her glory.

Now, it's for Siva.

He has told me the color.Surprise, surprise?

MAN: Gold.

Chrome gold.

[laughter]

YIANNI: It's chrome, boys.

You're up.

The only problem we'regoing to have is one here--

Already we've got a problem!

We haven't even started
yet, the only problem!

[interposing voices]

Wow!

Go on.

The vinyl's not wide
enough for the bonnet,

so we're going to have
some [inaudible] bonnet.

The vinyl's was not wideenough for the bonnet.

OK, so it's 1,220 wide,isn't it, rather than 1,500.

Straight away, a problem.

Mike, you're going to bedoing the shuts and returns.

Yep.

Because it's chrome, we'regoing do inside the door shuts

in glossy black
because chrome doesn't

conform like a normal vinyl.

It's going to be a headache,but that's what we're here for.

OK.

Pav, it's white.

Four doors need to come off.

It's not
[inaudible] a problem.

It's just the front bumperis a little bit of an issue,

obviously.

Breaks off into four parts,so it's just time consuming.

He needs to car done
by the end of the week.

[music playing]

YIANNI: You know what?

Let's get to stripping.

All right, cheers.

NARRATOR: It's a big job.

The client wants the whitepaint completely hidden,

so the bodywork must
be fully stripped.

Mike and Pav have over
50 parts to remove,

and everything needs to
be accounted for even

down to the clips and screws.

This AMG seal was actuallyconnected for a wire that

goes into the car's
electrical loom,

and that's how it's illuminated.

And obviously, it's
very fragile, so yeah,

we've got to take our
time with this one.

NARRATOR: The doors must comeoff so that the white door

surrounds, known as
shuts and returns,

can be wrapped in gloss black.

One, two, three.

Oh, my, lovely.

Look at that.

Beautiful, beautiful.

You're all right, you cool?

Cool.

NARRATOR: Getting the shutsand returns done adds time

to the schedule and
costs the client

an extra 200 pounds per door.

Nico and Mark decide
to start wrapping

whilst the rest of the
car is being stripped.

They begin by layingcutting tape down the center

of the large bonnet.

[music playing]

Once one side of
the vinyl was laid,

they pull the cutting
tape to create

a perfectly straightseam which they can match

to line up the other side.

[music playing]

It's all go at the garage today.

Outside, the next
job has arrived.

Andy is a former garageowner turned garage inspector

who Yianni has known for years.

- You all right?
- Fine.

You OK?
You good?

Yeah?
- Long time?

I know, I've been
waiting for so long.

You know what?

I feel like a kid going
into a candy store.

- Really?
- Yeah.

I'm really excited.

My new beast, another M4.

I love the color.

So I just want a few bitsdone to it, nothing too crazy.

Couple of black
inserts for the side

seals, door mirrors
black, and then

I just want to fewthings done on the front,

but I'll leave that to you.

Gold Lover Siva's whiteMercedes is gradually being

transformed by Nico and Mark.

This chrome gold vinyl
is notoriously difficult

to work with.

Many could have a problemwith this chrome gold

because of it rips so
easy, scratch easily,

so we have to be careful.

NARRATOR: And at 120
pounds per meter,

any mistakes will prove costly.

Let me show you what I mean.

This stretch so
much, you see that?

It's so-- so easy to split.

NARRATOR: The C63 S hascurves all over the bodywork,

so there's going to
be lots of heating

and stretching to be done.

But Nico and Marc are Yianni'sgo-to guys for chrome wraps.

He trusts them to handle thisdelicate, expensive vinyl.

Upstairs, Bert is checkingthrough the order sheets.

Do you realize, Yianni,
how much gold chrome

we've been through recently?

Um, a lot?

Yeah, because obviouslySiva's car is downstairs,

and this is his fourth
gold chrome car.

YIANNI: Yeah.

I ain't going to laugh.

I think he's outdoing you.

They're all chrome gold cars.

BERT: Right.

How's he outdoing me?

He's completed
the set, hasn't he?

How you going to beat him?

YIANNI: How am I
going to beat him?

NARRATOR: Downstairs, whileAndy's inspection continues,

there's no rest for Pav.

He's saved the most difficultpart of the bodywork to last.

Right, Keeram, this is thehard bit now, front bumper.

NARRATOR: This is
no ordinary bumper.

It's held in place
by nearly 40 clips,

screws, and bolts which areall concealed in hard to reach

places.

You do the other side for me.

Good.

NARRATOR: Access is difficult,so Pav has to work from memory

and feel for each screw.

Right, let's have
a look just here now.

All right, that's it.

On three, we're going
to pull it forward, OK?

All right.

One, two, three.

Slowly.

NARRATOR: With the
bumper stripped,

Nico cleans and preps
it for wrapping.

But he's discovered some damage.

Pav, come on, come on.

Please?

How we doing, Nico?

Yeah, I got a
problem on this one.

Look.
- OK.

Will it show
through the vinyl?

NICO: Definitely.

What else is the bumper like?

Have you checked that?

No.

Oh, my God, I can
see what you mean.

NICO: It's quite bad, isn't it?

PAV: Tell you what.

Let's call Bert, get a
final decision from him.

NARRATOR: Management needsto make a call on whether it

can be fixed in-house.

If not, it will
have to go to a body

shop, which could take days.

Bert, can you come
down, please, mate?

We've got an issue
with the bumper.

NARRATOR: Work stopsuntil a decision is made.

[music playing]

The team are wrapping a Mercedesfor a client who loves gold.

How many gold
cars you got now?

Well, this will be
the fourth gold car now.

NARRATOR: And
Yianni has a garage

inspector doing the rounds.

ANDY: You know I'm going
to be quite harsh, yeah?

They don't call me theGordon Ramsey of the garage

trade for nothing, yeah?

NARRATOR: But a
bodywork issue has put

the Mercedes wrap in jeopardy.

PAV: Oh, my God, I
can see what you mean.

NICO: It's quite bad, isn't it?

NARRATOR: Manager Bert has beensummoned in to make the call.

- Hello, guys.
- [inaudible]

What's happening?

Yeah, we got a problem
on this-- on this part.

OK.PAV: We got this bit of--

Three marks [inaudible].

PAV: Yeah, got a lot of
issues with this bumper.

Obviously, it's gold
chrome, so you're

going to see it pretty much.

Have you tried putting
some vinyl on that?

Yeah, we tried it before,but let me show you right now.

NARRATOR: Bodywork issuesare a real headache.

Even the slightestimperfection is highlighted

when covered in vinyl.

I think that's going to
need a little bit of wet

and dry just to smooth
it off, but that thing's

going to need a huge amount.

But obviously, the boys
need to get cracking.

It's chrome as well, so it'sgoing to take a bit of time,

so don't go--

don't send the whole
bloody thing down.

And I'll go and
speak to Siva and let

him know that's what we're did.PAV: Thank you.

NARRATOR: Wet and dry sandpapergives such a fine finish

that hopefully each
scoring on the bumper

won't be visible
once the wrap is on.

Nico will do his best, buthe won't know for sure how it

will look until it's wrapped.

Meanwhile, Andy's
presence in the garage

has the team on edge.

I keep seeing himwalking around over there,

seeing what everyone did, man.

It's like it's his
job to just inspect.

How are you getting on?

Well, I'm looking at
your master craftsman

here dong his little bits.

ANDY: It's like two bigmouthpieces looking at you.

YIANNI: Exactly, and
with the vents as well.

It really fills it out.

I can't wait to take youout and, uh, show everyone.

you need to do is

giving enough access
for the wrappers to tape

the vinyl behind the panel.

Then when the work is done,it can be properly fitted.

Trying to stretch
his delicate vinyl

around the curvy
Mercedes bumper takes

an incredible amount of skill.

They have to get the
tension just right.

This piece of vinyl alonecosts nearly 400 pounds.

It's going to be hard forus on this bit, isn't it?

Maybe you pull a
little bit here?

This will be in the door.

NARRATOR: The brothers havemanaged to finish the bumper

without wasting any vinyl.

- What's going on, Pav?- How're you doing, mate?

The vinyl has to
be carefully worked

around the shape of the door.

The boys work overtime toget the doors finished,

ready for collection tomorrow.

Siva is due at 3:00 PM.

The team finished the
doors late last night.

Now, it's over to Pav
to refit over 50 parts.

Yianni heads down tocheck they're on schedule

to meet the deadline.

Can I get your opinion on this?

The silver with the blackand the gold, did it work?

Because he doesn't

have this issue now,

and he pick up the car andbe happy, than be like,

I wish we'd done that.

And by then, the wholecar will be fully fitted,

and the car's got
to come back in.

NARRATOR: With
collection approaching,

there's no time to takethe whole bumper off again,

so Pav has to improvise.

And I loosen the bumper,give me a bit of play on it

so I can get to the back andhopefully we take it off.

NARRATOR: And there's
no room for error.
