The brothers are working on it.

So what's happened is

On this side, the PPF, whichis the paint protection,

has been lifting.

This is what PPF is.

It's like a-- it's a protection.

It's very, very thin.

It's cut to shape,
as you can see.

If Nicco lays that
vinyl on top, it's just

going to make the vinyl lift.

NARRATOR: All of Yianni'sexpensive rose gold wrap could

end up in the bin if
the invisible layer

of paint protection already onthe car starts coming unstuck.

YIANNI: This job is getting moreand more stressful by the day.

I can actually feel
myself sweating.

It's two million
pounds worth of car.

Why would it be easy?

NARRATOR: Two high endcars are being customized.

In the yard, a client
has asked the team

to come up with a trademarklook for his Mercedes.

[engine roaring]

In the workshop,
they've taken delivery

of the McLaren P1, a trueexotic made in leafy Surrey.

The factory paintwork onthis two million pound car

is protected by plastic film.

But attaching final
wrap on top of it

throws up a sticky problem.

BERT: Nicco, can you just throwthe piece of vinyl on for me?

YIANNI: How many
vinyl are you wasting?

Well, we're using
just a couple of--

We're now using 200
pounds worth of vinyl

to test something.

[ripping]

BERT: It's catching.

YIANNI: Wow.
BERT: Look at that.

YIANNI: Mate, that's ridiculous.

NARRATOR: With the
6,000 pound paint

protection film
PPF coming loose,

Yianni has to make
a bold decision.

YIANNI: So the conclusionhere is, strip the PPF off.

Waste more of my time and money.

But imagine we'd actuallylaid the whole bonnet in

rose gold and then had topull that rose gold off.

I would have been angry,because I'm not going to swear.

NICCO: OK.

And I would've had tofoot the bill on that one.
