If it comes out well, it
will be a "Bertimize" twist.

If it doesn't, then
it's a Yiannimize twist.

pressure is on for Yianni

to deliver on this
ultra-expensive car.

It's hard to
get this straight.

We've turned this hypercar
into a hyper hypercar.

NARRATOR: Today's arrival is
a super rare and expensive

roadgoing hypercar.

It's so valuable that it's
rarely driven on the road.

So the owner has arranged
for it to be dropped off.

YIANNI: Richard,
how are you doing?

You well?

I'm good, thanks, and you?

I'm really well, thanks.

- Are you ready?

My favorite car.

Wow.

What a car.

My staff are gonna
absolutely lose their mind.

NARRATOR: It's the
Porsche 918 Spyder.

It's the first time the
team have ever seen one.

TEAM MEMBER 1: Oh my gosh.

Ooh, lovely.

NARRATOR: A million pounds'
worth of German hypercar.

That's the best car.

TEAM MEMBER 2: So nice.

NARRATOR: The
multimillionaire owner

stays out of the public eye.

So he sent along his
supercar-loving 15-year-old

son with this unique car.

Dan, what's happening, mate?
You well?

- Yeah, good, thanks, you?

- Yep.
- I'm really well.

She's here.

She's arrived safely.

Yep.

Porsche 918 Spyder.

This is lovely.

First one I've ever had here.

Really?

So, yeah, so I'm
really, really pleased.

My guys are over
the moon with this.

Yeah, it's insane.

I mean, obviously, Dad's
got some other cars,

but for me, it's my favorite.

Give me a couple of
his cars that he's got,

a couple of his toys.

He's got an Enzo at
the minute, Ferrari Enzo.

He's got a Aventador S
Roadster, a Huracan Performante,

360 Challenge Stradale.

He's got some toys.

What's your favorite?

Obviously, the obvious one's
between the Enzo and 918.

But for me, 918.

Do you know what?

The Enzo is a classic.

It's a fantastic car.

But I like new.

I like new technology.

I mean, same here.

I mean, I wasn't old enough
when the Enzo was out,

so I can't say anything.
- You're a baby.

What are you, like, 15?
- 15, yeah.

You're 15 years old, and
you get to be around all

these cars on a daily basis.

It's mad.

YIANNI: You're a
lucky young man.

So talk to me.
What are we gonna do?

So we're thinking, like,
stripes, so, you know,

like the old original
Porsche liveries.

When you say the livery
and the brand, what color?

Say lime green,
match the calipers.

YIANNI: Calipers are
lovely, aren't they?

DANIEL: Yeah.

OK, me and Bert will come up
with some sort of idea for this.

only 918 of these hypercars

were built in 2014, and
only in left-hand drive.

This model features a
lightweight carbon pack, saving

a vital 35 kilos of weight.

It combines the brand's
motor racing technology

with everyday drivability.

Yianni rounds up the team
as they're itching to get

to work on this special car.

The customer loves this color.

And he's not having a full wrap.

He wants to add some decals,
some Porsche sort of livery

over the vehicle
from front to back.

And he wants it to go
green like the calipers.

Do you think that works, guys?

Blue and green
should never be seen.

MIKE: It's gonna work.

It's a hypercar, man.

It's gonna work.

He's given me some sort
of idea of what he wants.

Now, Bert's not usually
involved in this sort of thing,

but we've drafted him in because
it is livery, it is a design,

and Bert is gonna come up
with some sort of idea.

So go and get your
coloring-- your crayons now.

Crayons, felt tips.

[laughter]

YIANNI: So, Bert, I'm
gonna leave it with you.

Mike, you've got to do
nothing to this car.

What do you mean?

You got to let me take
satin off of this car.

YIANNI: There's nothing
to strip off the car.

Anything, something--
a badge, a wing.

To be fair, actually,
I want the roof off.

Oh, I'm down for that.

YIANNI: At least
it will look good.

Yeah.

YIANNI: You can take
two carbon bits off.

I'm happy.
YIANNI: Are you happy?

Yeah, I'll do it.

You know if we get
this wrong, we are gonna

get ruined on social media.

- Yeah.

BURT: All right, cool.
- Cool.

MIKE: You sure I can't
take nothing else off?

[hip hop music]

NARRATOR: Desperate to get
his hands on more of the car,

Mike takes over the wash,
while Bert is upstairs,

working on a design that
incorporates Daniel's desire

for classic race-style livery.

So I found a few designs
online, and what I want to do

is move it on a little
bit and come up with a bit

of a Yiannimize twist to it.

It's going to turn heads.

I'm not sure if people
are gonna like it,

but I guess livery is
like marmite anyway,

isn't it, on a car?

NARRATOR: Instead
of a full wrap,

livery means applying vinyl
accents in a contrasting color

to different panels of the car.

Right, so I've come up
with a design which I think

works really well because it
keeps the lines of the car.

It follows certain lines
that are already there.

If it comes out well, it
will be a "Bertimize" twist.

If it doesn't, then
it's a Yiannimize twist.

[computer chime]

NARRATOR: Every piece of
this million-pound hypercar

is highly valuable.

MIKE: Check the pen out.

Carbon fiber pen.

NARRATOR: Bert's design doesn't
feature the carbon roof panels,

so Yianni wants them removed
and safely out of the way.

So just looking through
the manual of the 918 Spyder,

once you've removed
the actual roof panels,

it just shows you how
to store them correctly

in the luggage compartment.

[hip hop music]

So I have to be very
careful putting these

in because as strong as carbon
is, it does have lacquer on it,

and it can scratch.

The last part of the 918 Spyder
is this little carbon wind

deflector.

[snap]

NARRATOR: Having
produced a livery design,

Bert comes down to
show Mark and Nicco.

MARK: Oh, you've got the design.

Design is ready
to rock and roll.

What do you think is the best
way of doing this freehand?

Or should I get the
shapes cut on the plotter?

- I'd say freehand.
- Yeah?

Yeah.

Me too.

Freehand is gonna be better,
especially the front bumper--

Because of the curves of
the car and stuff like that.

Yeah, yeah.

The only problem we've got
is the door to the recorder.

Yeah.

- But--
- But I'm sure we can manage.

We always do.

We'll do.

Yeah, that's the only
hard bit on the car, yeah?

MARK: Yeah.
- Yeah?

MARK: Yeah, definitely.

But it has to be precise,
because, obviously,

the way I've designed it is to
run into the correct recesses

and so on.

So all we've got to
do is get it done

and get it out of here
because we haven't got long.

[both agree]
- Perfect.

All right.

I'm gonna leave that there.

But I'm gonna be around anyway.

So we'll go for it together.

NARRATOR: Because of the
bold curves on this car,

applying the
racing-inspired livery

will really test the
brothers' skills.

It's so hard to make
this one straight.

Not too happy.

NARRATOR: Upstairs, Yianni is
admiring this rare and expensive

hypercar via the CCTV.

My favorite car
is a Porsche 918.

If we're talking favorite
Porsches, GT2 RS, surely.

The thing with Porsche, they all
have always looked very similar

throughout, but the 918
is completely different,

which I get.

It's a hypercar.

But you wouldn't drive
a 918 every day, surely.

YIANNI: Listen, I've got--
- To be fair, you would.

I've got friends
that have got them,

and you can drive them a lot
more than another hypercar

like a LaFerrari.

You're talking about
using a car every day,

GT2 RS, or a GT3 RS.

I'll take either.

I'm not fussy.

NARRATOR: Downstairs,
Mark and Nicco are trying

to pull off Bert's design.

They decided to apply the livery
freehand, which means they have

to painstakingly
lay down guide tape

to form the right shape before
they can lay the material.

It's quickly becoming
a much bigger challenge

than the brothers expected.

No.

It's wonky.

NARRATOR: The orange
tape is too pliable

and not allowing them
to lay a usable line.

It's hard to
get this straight.

Yeah.

[hip hop music]

Just looking at
it from this angle,

there's bits that are
just kinking up slightly.

Cool.
All right.

See you in a bit.

MARK: I hate doing things again.

NARRATOR: Mark and Nicco's
initial attempt to lay

a steady guideline has failed.

So they resort to good
old-fashioned masking tape.

Better?

Yeah.

NARRATOR: Finally happy with
the line they can work with,

they next lay cutting tape
in the exact shape they need.

Once they lay the
vinyl, the tape

will slice through, leaving
the desired shape behind.

The wrap is entering
a crucial phase.

Yianni is keeping
a very close eye.

YIANNI: Ooh!

That's it.

Are you happy with it?

MARK: This was really hard.

YIANNI: Cutting tape?

MARK: Cutting tape, yeah,
freehand cutting tape.

YIANNI: Freehand?
No cut on the car?

None.

YIANNI: OK.

Yeah, so far, so good, mate.

NARRATOR: The brothers now
move onto the side of the car.

With its complex panels
and deep recesses,

this will be their
biggest challenge.

But their struggle with
the rear of the car

has knocked their confidence.

So I've just gone out
to see Nicco and Mark.

I've tried to give
them confidence.

Mark and Nicco are
confidence people.

I don't want to actually put
them under any more pressure.

Right now I'm really nervous.

NARRATOR: Applying a
livery wrap is not easy.

And the brothers' decision
to lay the design freehand

has made it even tougher.

It's a time-consuming
process, and they

have to get it right on this
super rare million-pound motor.

[energetic music]

This hybrid combines the
power from the petrol engine

and two electric motors.

Together they produce an
impressive 887 horsepower,

meaning this hypercar
can sprint to 62 miles

per hour in just 2.8 seconds.

I'll do it like this.

NARRATOR: Having laid cutting
tape over their guideline,

Mark and Nicco have
now applied the vinyl

and are ready to
reveal the final shape.

Bert is back to see how this key
element of his design turns out.

Have I timed
this to perfection?

Are you about to pull it off.

OK?

Yeah, apparently, yes.

Lovely.
Come on.

- You ready?

Yeah, I'm ready.

I'm not.

Why, are you nervous?

A little bit, yeah.

NARRATOR: With a gentle
pull on the cutting tape,

Mark unveils his work.

[suspenseful music]

What do you think of it?

Um, yeah.

I think so.

It's just I want
it to be perfect.

But, yeah, I'll be happier
once you've finished it.

- Nice.

another thumbs-up,

the wrap wizards
keep up the momentum

and complete the livery on
the side of the hypercar.

Before long, Yianni is back
to check on their work.

The color is perfect
with the caliper.

MARK: Mm-hmm.

It was really hard.

It took time to do it.

It looks good, Mark.

It looks really
good, to be fair.

MARK: Thanks a lot, Yian.

I was nervous when you said--

To be honest, I wasn't too sure.

But the more I'm looking at
it, I think it looks great.

But this is sort of a bit

it a nice effect

but not be totally in your face.

At the end of the
day, it is a hypercar.

So the blue is a
fantastic color,

but it's nice to obviously
have a bit more on it.

it's got to look exotic.
