loves to seriously

test its limits on the track, so
the paint has to be protected.

He wants a complete
color change,

which requires a full strip.

MIKE: We're taking
bumpers off, spoilers off,

wing mirrors off, everything.

NARRATOR: But it's
a complex car.

It's going to be really fiddly
for them, but I'm taking it off.

NARRATOR: And if the
team can pull it off--

This is my satisfying
thing in the whole world.

NARRATOR: --Yianni
has been promised

he will get in on the action.

This is more
fun than my Lambo.

NARRATOR: Anish Vinayak is a
successful property developer

with a passion for speed.

He regularly takes
his car to the track.

And today, he's brought
Yianni his newest addition.

Ooh!

The bad boy.

- Good to see you.
- Anish.

What's new?
- New car.

Time for a wrap.

Another new car?

So how many is that now?

Five-ish now.

Performante, the S-class.

Two Ferraris to mix things up.

YIANNI CHARALAMBOUS: So
this is a great color, man.

Why are we wrapping it?

Yeah, it looks good, but
matches the Performante

it too much because
that's red, of course.

I want to change it to
maybe like a darkish blue.

Why blue?

ANISH VINAYAK: I want
something a little bit darker

and something that stands out.

YIANNI CHARALAMBOUS: Are we
going to break it up at all?

Maybe a bit of satin
black or another color?

ANISH VINAYAK: Satin black,
I think, maybe on the wing.

Keep the wing in blue, but maybe
some Porsche decals on the top.

So we're going to have a
blue car, yellow calipers,

orange interior.

Are you all right, mate?
- You make it look beautiful.

YIANNI CHARALAMBOUS: Yeah,
just put it on me, mate.

So if anyone hates it on

NARRATOR: With a price tag
of over 141,000 pounds,

this road legal,
track-focused sports car has

the widest tires of any 911.

A six-point harness and
integrated roll cage

keep you safe at speed.

The lightweight body panels
are made of expensive materials

such as carbon and magnesium.

[upbeat music]

With such a big
job ahead of them,

Yianni gathers the whole team.

YIANNI CHARALAMBOUS:
I love this car.

Today, Porsche GT3 RS.

Are we excited to work on this?
- Of course.

Yes.

YIANNI CHARALAMBOUS: Customer
is a guy called Anish.

He tracks this car, so he
wants it protected rather

than just having a PPF, lot
of paint protection film

all over the car.

He's like, Yianni,
let's do a color.

The orange is going
to go, and it's going

to be a full wrap in the blue.

Mike, what are we
stripping off this car.

Everything.

We're taking bumpers off,
spoilers off, wing mirrors off.

We're taking
windows out of this.

We're taking doors
off the hinges.

Just be careful because
it is a massive strip down.

Don't want any
damage to this car.

It is Anish's pride and joy.

Guys, you're going to
have to hide the orange.

Make sure only blue is on show.

Wrappers, make sure
your quality is bang on.

Here is a difficult car.

We're going to be
under pressure on this.

Have we got this?
ALL: Yes.

YIANNI CHARALAMBOUS: Thank you.
Let's do this.

ALL: Cheers, guys.

[upbeat music]

NARRATOR: The team have
to make sure each panel

and every gap between them
are wrapped in the blue.

So Mike and Pav have to strip
as much of the car as possible

to give the wrappers
the access they need.

Well, look, you
deal with the doors,

the rear quarters, the glass.

And I'll deal with
the front bumper,

have a look at these
wings, do the spoiler,

and she's good to go.

Let's do this.

NARRATOR: They start by
removing the high-end wheels

with a special wrench.

Down.

NARRATOR: The single nut center
locks are racing inspired,

and make for a faster wheel
changes in the pit area.

Get ready.

NARRATOR: The car is
designed to go fast.

So to keep the weight down,
its body panels are all made

with lightweight materials.

The carbon composite
rear spoiler

is designed to push the rear
wheels hard into the tarmac

for better traction.

Once off the car, Amelia
will wrap it and then apply

the contrasting black graphics.

Go for it.

Time to get the brackets off.

We've still got to take
off the third brake

light cover, rear lights,
and bits of the bumper trim.

So quite a bit to do still.

[music playing] When
I'm on the rhythm

You know we don't stop

YIANNI CHARALAMBOUS: Do
you sometimes get shocked

that how people
believe certain things

that are posted on social?

Because for me, I'm from a
different generation, where I

don't believe everything I see.

Nowadays, anything you put on
socials is taken as gospel.

BERT: Do you remember that time
where I sacked you on socials?

Do you remember that, for
the April Fools video?

Oh, Yianni fired.

BERT: When Yianni got fired.

Most of you guys
don't know this,

but Yianni is or was actually
an actor that I employed

around about five
years ago to look

after or to front my company.

His real name is Costas
Stelios George Panathinaikos.

[laughs] For real.

Unfortunately, today, I've
had to fire him for reasons

that I'd rather not disclose.

He was just a low-paid actor.

I need to look for a new Yianni.

So you don't have
to be a good actor.

Preferably I'd like you
to be of Greek origin

and reasonably good-looking,
but that doesn't matter.

As long as you're
confidence is sky high,

just like the old Yianni.

[laughter]

The pay isn't great, but
you get to drive a Lambo,

you get a new
wardrobe, and you get

to live in a really nice house.

Mate, I'm still
recovering from the amount

of people that rang
the office complaining,

"You can't fire Yianni."

"What have you done?"

"My kid is crying."

I actually felt so bad.

BERT: There was a hell
of a lot of people that

actually applied for your job.

April Fools, people fell for it.

I almost had you
gone out of business.

It could have been fantastic.

[laughs]

[upbeat music]

NARRATOR: Downstairs, Pav is
working on the front of the car.

PAV: I'm hoping we can get
this vent out for the boys just

to make their life easier.

NARRATOR: They need to be
removed for the wrappers

to have the best chance of
covering the whole panel.

Well, yeah.

The grill is actually
bonded onto the wing.

No movement whatsoever.

Solid.

So unfortunately, the boys
will have to wrap the wing

with the grill on the wing.

It's going to be
really fiddly for them.

I thought that we'd
be able to get it off.

But on this case,
I'm taking it off.

[upbeat music]

NARRATOR: Fortunately,
the rest of the parts

have not been as
difficult to remove,

so the team will be able to
start the wrap in the morning.

MIKE: The Porsche
is fully stripped.

We've even taken
the rear bumper off.

This is all just to make
the wrapper's lives a lot

easier, and mine a lot harder.

[upbeat music]

NARRATOR: Mark and
Nicco start to tackle

one of the largest panels,
the carbon fiber bonnet.

To ensure a clean
application, they first

remove all the dirt and
grease from the surface

before masking up the edges.

[upbeat music]

Oh shit!

[music playing]

So we saw some problem.

NARRATOR: It seems that there
are marks on the material

from the manufacturing process.

We found some
imperfection in the vinyl,

but we get it all
back straightaway.

What have we got?

A big problem in here, bro.

BERT: What is that?

It's just like roller
marks and stuff

where they've made the vinyl.

One, two.

It's all the way through.

It's all the way through.

Have we checked
the rest of the roll?

Not yet.

So it could be
through the whole lot?

NARRATOR: Bert is
assessing the damage.

BERT: Is there a way we could
maybe cut a piece off where

the problem is, lay
a small bit, heat

it, make sure it
comes out before we

commit to the whole bonnet?

We could do that because we're
going to have some offcuts there

anyway.
BERT: Yeah.

Cut that out.

Lay it on the bonnet.

Try and heat it.

If it comes out, great.

If it doesn't, then
we're going to have

to come up with another
option, and get some more--

a new roll of vinyl in for it.

[upbeat music]

NARRATOR: Mark and Nicco
know from experience

that applying heat
to the problem area

may remove the marks.

[upbeat music, whirring]

Thankfully, it works.

They can now get on with the
huge wrap job ahead of them.

[upbeat music]

Up on the mezzanine,
Amelia is working

on the black
graphics, which will

be applied to different
sections of the car.

AMELIA: I've just finished
the decals for the Porsche.

We've got the GT3 RS side
strips, a big Porsche logo

for the spoiler, the four
liter decal for the side

of the spoiler, and then
one GT3 RS logo going

yellow to match
the calipers, which

is what the customer wanted.

But everything else
is going satin black.

This is the first
time I've actually

done this sort of design.

It's extremely important
that every single detail

of this and every single
measurement is bang on.

Because obviously,
very high-end car.

[music playing] When
I'm on the rhythm

You know we don't stop

Yo, hit with the high and low

Low, low, low

This is the side strip that's
like above the side skirt.

[music playing]

When I'm on the rhythm

You know we don't stop

This is most satisfying
thing in the whole world.

[upbeat music]

NARRATOR: Downstairs, the
wrap on the mirrors and doors

is well underway.

And Yianni is
checking on progress.

I think there's a lot of
orange inside with the roll

cage and the seats.

And with the blue
that he's chosen--

listen, it's Anish's car.

Let's hope he's happy.

NARRATOR: Mark and Nicco
are about to tackle

the trickiest
section of the car.

MARK: They can't
take the vents out,

so this wing is going
to be a problem for us.

[upbeat music]

When we super heat in the
panel, the plastic might melt.

So I'm trying to mass
each blades on it

so we don't burn the plastic.

[upbeat music]

NICCO: The first
thing you have to do,

you have to get the shape.

It's ready to cut.

[upbeat music]

NARRATOR: Nicco has to precisely
cut off the excess, making

sure he has enough vinyl to
completely cover the panel

and navigate around the vents.

I have to be careful
when I'm cutting this one.

And I don't want to scratch the
car, so I have to take my time

and do it slowly.

I need a proper steady
hand on this one.

NARRATOR: If he
cuts away too much,

then he won't be able to
hide the orange paint,

and will have to
relay the whole panel.

NICCO: So I have to it lightly.

Don't press the blade too much.

[upbeat music]

NARRATOR: The brothers
have achieved perfection.

NICCO: That's it.

Is it?

Yeah.

MARK: It's impressive.

- Yeah, we're safe.
- Good job.

Thanks.

[upbeat music]

NARRATOR: Anish promised
Petrol Head, Yianni,

a chance to drive his GT3 RS on
track if he meets the deadline.

But there's still a lot to do.

The vinyl is being laid onto
the rear bumper, which hides

the Porsche's power plant.

Its four liter flat 6 is
the most powerful street

legal engine in a non-turbo 911.

It can accelerate to a top speed
of over 190 miles per hour.

This two-seater
sprints to 62 miles

per hour in just 3.3 seconds.

Down on the shop
floor, Yianni is taking

another look at the color.

Listen, you guys
have done a great job,

and this really reckons
the orange and blue works.

NARRATOR: Yianni is great at
keeping his team motivated.

But ultimately, it's on him
if the customer isn't happy.

All the orange has now
disappeared, except for the roll

cage and the seats inside.

I'm personally still
not feeling the blue.

NARRATOR: With some of the
wrap pieces being reinstalled,

Amelia is finishing off
the bright yellow decal,

which the team hope will
really lift the design.

AMELIA: I'm just going to
take this transfer paper,

pop it over the
top, squeegee it on.

When it's peeled
off the white here,

obviously it picks
up all the letters,

and you can then put it
on the car from that.

NARRATOR: The whole
car is now almost blue.

They've wrapped
everything possible so

that when all the pieces
are reinstalled on the car,

there will be no orange on show.

Every part that's
refitted carries the risk

of damaging the fresh vinyl.

So Pat and Mike have to
bring the car back to life

as carefully as possible,
so it's ready for the track.

[upbeat music]

AMELIA: Colour is good now.

Happy days.

[upbeat music]

YIANNI CHARALAMBOUS: The
Porsche GT3 RS is now complete.

The guys have done
a fantastic job,

getting rid of all the orange.

So when you look at this
car from the outside,

you would never
know it was orange.

[upbeat music]

NARRATOR: It's early
the next morning,

and Yianni has planned something
different for this reveal.

He's brought the car to a
private test track, where he can

really see what it
can do, but only

if Anish approves of the work.

YIANNI CHARALAMBOUS: Anish.
ANISH VINAYAK: How, Yianni.

How's it going?

YIANNI CHARALAMBOUS:
How you doing, my bro?

ANISH VINAYAK: Good to see you.

YIANNI CHARALAMBOUS:
Are you well?

ANISH VINAYAK: I'm good, man.

YIANNI CHARALAMBOUS: So
I'm excited for this.

So am I. Can't wait to see it.

YIANNI CHARALAMBOUS:
Do you remember

when we first chose this color?

And you said to me, Yianni,
I definitely want to go blue.

And I'm like, the roll
cage inside, orange, blue.

And you're like, don't
worry, we'll get rid of it.

Look, I think the
blue and orange will go,

but the main thing is that all
of the paint on the outside

of the car is covered.

OK.

Wait there.

[upbeat music]

ANISH VINAYAK: Wow!

That is amazing!

That color looks so good.

Incredible.

Love it.

Everybody wants to live--

The best thing is you
can't see any of the orange

at all, apart from
that roll cage.

YIANNI CHARALAMBOUS: The
orange is not easy to hide.

But obviously, my guys
went to town on this.

ANISH VINAYAK: Love the
decals, satin black.

You can just see them.

And the rear wing,
that looks amazing.

YIANNI CHARALAMBOUS:
Yellow calipers,

orange roll cage, blue car.

I can't believe how
different it looks.

[upbeat music]

I think it's worked
out perfectly.

And the thing is, the
wing is actually useful.

ANISH VINAYAK: For that
downforce around these corners.

You can put your foot down, and
the car's not going to kick out.

YIANNI CHARALAMBOUS:
It's got such long revs.

It really holds the revs.

Yeah, it goes up
to about 8,000 RPM.

And the noise is there.

Some people say with force
that the noises are there,

but this screams at the top end.

[revving]

It just keeps going
and going and going.

I love this.

[revving, upbeat music]

This is more fun than my Lambo.

In fact, I can't lie.

ANISH VINAYAK: I know
you're going to track

the hell out of this properly.

YIANNI CHARALAMBOUS:

the whole front end with stone
chips, you bring it back to me.
