(Lady Fluttering Fist)

(Episode 21)

Is there some misunderstanding between you two?

XiaoXiao's matter

Leave it to me

What will you do?

Can I help you?

No need

Don't worry

I won't hurt her

XiaoXiao

XiaoXiao! What's wrong? Don't scare me

XiaoXiao! Xiao Xiao!

This won't do

I'll take you to the hospital. Let's go

Let go of me

Right now you can't use force

otherwise your injury will worsen

Cannot

I must take back the Ba Qi Sect

XiaoXiao

Don't push yourself too hard

else your injury will get worse

Don't worry. I'm here

Wei Chu

We actually had found out

FangJi is XiaoXiao's (maternal) Grandfather

I know

XiaoXiao has already been missing for 1 month

Where might she be?

I want you guys to help me

What is it

Find a way

To contact the police officer who investigated our kidnapping 2 years ago

WeiChu

Have you called the cops to ...

I did come for XiaoXiao

But not to apprehend her

Instead, it's to help clear her confusion

You guys brought me here to do what?

FangJi set a trap to kidnap all

4 big Tai Chi families' successors

NingXue, ChenBing

Xiao Xue

Senior Wei

Weichu

WeiChu

You're finally awake. WeiChu, you're ok?

I'm Okay

just don't have any strength

What are we going to do now

I don't believe you

Stop making things up. All lies.

All the people involved are here

You can ask them

Xiao Xiao

What WeiChu said is true

Actually, I was also one of the Tai Chi heirs kidnapped by Fang Ji back then

But not just me

There's also ChenBing

and Yang NingXue

That rascal from the Tai Chi Faculty

staged a "kidnapping" act

We must find a way to escape

but we're all tied up now

how to escape?

Newborn calfs do not fear tigers

I knew that you would not be captured willingly

Fang Ji

Just to defeat Tai Chi, you're being unscrupulous!

You're a sinister villain!

Whatever you say

Today, you Tai Chi Sect heirs

all have to remain here!

He plotted to hold us hostage to threaten our parents

To escape,

I had a duel with Fang Ji

In the end we both got heavily injured

here

is where he kidnapped us to back then

With me here, you will not succeed !

By the rules of the Jiang Hu,

lineage holder Fang,

let's have a decisive duel

You?

Are you qualified?

Get them !

Fang Ji, due to your selfish desire,

you've caused grievous damage to both the Ba Qi and Tai Chi Sects

Cease your obsession

About Ba Qi Sect's affairs,

it's not your place to lecture me!

Wei Chu

Again !

Wei Chu!

Senior Wei!

Fang Ji, you're despicable!

Trickery is part of war

Winner is King !

That's indeed what happened

The police station has kept records of that.

After that Fang Ji committed suicide by poison

Wei Chu killed your grandfather

That rascal

put poison in your grandfather's tea

And so the case was left unsettled

Come then !

You've been hit by my Ba Qi Palm

Do not think

that you can walk out of here unscathed

Let me tell you

The Ba Qi will never admit defeat !

The police are here! Run!

Police !

Run quick !

If not for Wei Chu,

we might have never escaped the calamity

Fang Ji's death had nothing to do with me

My conscience is clear

Telling you these here today

is because I don't want Piaopiao to be troubled by your distrust

If you still want to pursue this matter

then let's have a fair match

Xiao Xiao, you still have me

I want some quiet time alone

There must be some misunderstanding. Wei Chu is not how you think he is.

Xiao Xiao, stop fighting

I treat you as my best friend

Make a wish ! Make a wish !

From start to end, it's been my plan

How do I turn back?

Why would I want to turn back?

Xiao Xiao

Come have lunch, Xiao Xiao

Xiao Xiao

Let's eat

Where are you going?

You're not going to look for Wei Chu, are you?

Don't worry

Before I figure out everything

I won't hurt Wei Chu

You've finally understood

Then why are you packing your clothes?

Senior Haiyang!

Are you home?

Why has Ningxue come here?

Xiao Xiao, wait here. Don't come out. I'll be back in a moment.

Ningxue, Chen Bing, what are you ...

Senior Haiyang, we ...

Xiao Xiao !

It really is you

Why did you come out?

Don't go

HaiYang Senior, Did you forget how her grandfather harmed us?

And now she's using you

and almost destroyed the Tai Chi faculty. Why are you defending her?

So XiaoXiao, please leave

or we'll show you no courtesy!

Xiao Xue

I don't need you to say it, I know I need to leave

I'll go right now

Xiao Xiao

Don't go

NingXue, ChenBing

XiaoXiao is now my girlfriend

I will keep defending her

If you guys don't like her

I apologize

Please go back

But what NingXue said isn't wrong

From the beginning,

I was just using you

I know

Do you not understand the meaning of what I said?

If I understand, what then?

If I don't, what then?

What I meant was

From start to end,

my getting close to you, liking you

treating you good, were all fake all along!

Never my true wish

I never liked you, I was just using you!

You've said this many times

and I've answered many times

I don't believe it

I don't believe that you being that happy with me was all fake

I just believe

You are just you

I know

you had reasons beyond your choice

that made you do a lot of wrong things

But I still like you

Please stay

XiaoXiao

I said it before,

you are my girlfriend

this is your home

noone is more suited to stay here than you

Xiao Xiao

I promise

I'll be good to you for our whole life

Since I was little, it was grandfather who brought me up

He taught me martial arts

Taught me the morals of being human

All my martial skill

Every move and stance

were all what grandfather taught me

My happiest childhood memories

was learning martial arts from grandfather

And then grandfather was gone

the Ba Qi Sect became a mess

To watch over

the Ba Qi Sect, which was so important to grandfather

I took over as Sect Leader

I always firmly believed

that Wei Chu caused my grandfather's death

I always felt that

taking revenge on Wei Chu and Tai Chi was my life's ...

was my reason for living

until ...

Grandfather

Since young, you taught me that one should be calm at heart

and think carefully before one acts

be humble, patient and gentle

Then can I ask you

Back then, the one who did the unrighteous and unjust thing to Bai HaiYang, WeiChu, ChenBing, and Yang NingXue

was it you?

Grandma

The outcome is clear

it will be hard for you to find a loophole

I really didn't expect that

your Weiqi skills has reached such an otherworldly level

I'm no longer your match now

You've let me win

There's no absolute win or loss in a board game

It's just a matter of who got the initiative

and who has a better grasp

Now you're more and more like a master.

Looks like you've really grown up.

Grandma

This year's National Martial Arts Convention

Feng Piaopiao is going to take part as team captain of the Tai Chi faculty's 5-person team

I hope she can have your support

Though you have taken Feng Piaopiao as your disciple

but representing the Tai Chi faculty implies representing the Tai Chi Sect

If not handled properly,

it might embarrass the whole Tai Chi Sect

Putting aside being team captain

even her participating

the other schools will not agree to it

Such an important competition

we cannot afford any mishap

Precisely because this competition is important

the chances of victory are greater if Feng Piaopiao is team captain

I believe with Haiyang, Chen Bing and Ningxue

they'll be fine

It seems grandma isn't too agreeable

to Piaopiao taking part for the Tai Chi Sect's 5-person team

let alone her being team captain

It's surprising that you still listen to her opinion

To represent the Tai Chi Sect in the competition

everyone of us has to get approval from the elders

This is out of respect for the older generation

Then what do you intend to do?

If Piaopiao doesn't take part

then our success is uncertain

That's right, only if Piaopiao becomes team captain, can we win.

Looks like we have to find a way to change Director Wei's mind

Piaopiao, don't worry, we'll all support you

And I'll do my best

Let me think of a way

I'll need your cooperation though

Thanks

Training is over

It's 8 o'clock

Time flies so fast

You've been training so hard lately

Take a break

What happened?

Too tired?

How about, go back to rest

You are too tired

I'm afraid you'd be exhausted

and

that's all because of me

Don't think too much about it

I know

You want me to get grandma's support

And then after winning the competition,

I'll get support of the Tai Chi faculty

Don't worry

I'll handle this matter

Follow me

To where?

Just come

Let's go

Wear more

Why bring me here?

Look !

That is the Orion Constellation

It's said that after the Moon Goddess mistakenly killed her dear lover,

to commemorate him, she turned him into ash

which rose to the sky and became the Orion Constellation

You're not intending to do something weird are you?

What I mean is, if there's a problem, don't keep it to yourself

You can talk to me about it

If you don't, I'd be very sad

I'm sorry

to make you worry

Oh right,

do you know?

I heard that Orion is the brightest patch of stars in the whole sky

How is it possible?

With you here, how can it be the brightest one?

Um

About the martial art event

I'll talk to grandmother

Don't worry

Leave it to me

Um ok

no, wait

I say I won't embarrass the Tai Chi faculty

I didn't think grandmother

still has bad feeling towards me

Don't think so much

Grandma was just afraid that if you lose the competition,

you'd ruin the reputation of Tai Chi

Don't take into your heart

Don't worry

You are my person

How would you possibly embarrass the Tai Chi faculty?

Right?

Your person?

Mhm

Is it bright?

It's ok I guess

Grandma Wei

Now Feng Piaopiao's ability is indeed above ours

Letting her be team captain is most appropriate

but Feng Piaopiao has just transferred into your faculty

Her ability

is very questionable

Feng Piaopiao was personally taught by Senior Wei

All students in the Tai Chi faculty believe in her ability

and believe that she'd be a good team captain

You three

are really sure that Feng Piaopiao is capable enough

to be team captain?

Director

if you still have doubts

why not visit the Tai Chi faculty

then you'll know Feng Piaopiao's ability

Will this really convince Grandma Wei?

Grandma is a very traditional person

As long as she sees that you have everyone's confidence in the Tai Chi faculty,

she'll no longer object

but I've never instructed others before

will she see through this?

Don't worry

I've already explained it to them

they'll cooperate with you to the best of their ability

as for you, don't drop the ball at a critical moment

Wei Chu

Senior Wei

Grandma Wei will be here soon

(Tai Chi House)

Grandma, see

Feng Piaopiao has enough leadership ability

she's most suitable to be team captain of our Tai Chi faculty's 5-person team

With her leading us in the competition, our chances of winning are bigger

That's right, everyone here accepts her

I may be old

but I can still see through this little trick of yours

you staging this act together

what's the point?

That broken idea of yours. I felt grandmother would not be moved

To err is human

Though when I proposed it

you didn't object either

Looks like you're also

only wise after the event

No need to help me in the future

Making it worse everyday

I'll think of a way myself

Alright then

I'll leave the following to you

I won't hinder you

OK ?

OK, leave it all to me. I'll resolve it.

So confident?

Of course !

When this lady strikes, success comes,

anything can get done !

Actually, this was not supposed to be your responsibility

You've got no confidence in me at all

Alright then

I'll be your strongest backup

Oh you have good awareness

This is what a fiance should have

as a basic principle

Don't worry

I will succeed

Feng Piaopiao

You've come to see me by yourself, what a surprise

Grandma Wei, I've come to tell you

Me coming to see you

is my idea, not Wei Chu's

You think you can convince me

I don't know if I can

but I just want to tell you my heartfelt thoughts

Initially,

I had no interest in Tai Chi at all

but later, Wei Chu helped me to realise Tai Chi

and understand it

that's how I slowly fell in love with Tai Chi

I want to promote Tai Chi with everyone

I fought the challenge matches for Wei Chu, to help him

The Martial Arts Convention, I'm taking part for myself

And I believe our team can surely win

And I am qualified to be team captain

I hope Grandma Wei can believe in me

For a little girl, you speak quite boldly

Also, this time I came to see you

to also tell you

whether you agree to it or not

I will take part in this competition

and I will be the team captain

Since you've put it that way

no need to say any further

Grandmother, don't be angry yet

If you still don't believe me

we can test our moves against each other

so that you can see my ability

Alright, in that case,

I want to behold, how much you understand Tai Chi

OK

Why aren't you attacking?

Out of respect for the elder, the younger one should hold back for two moves

I'm not an ordinary old person

I know. If you hadn't held back half of your strength

I wouldn't rush in either

Good, you could understand my moves. You do have some ability.

I don't deserve this praise.

Through this journey,

many people have helped me

Your Tai Chi Kungfu

is indeed mature

Your Tai Chi Push-hands is full of energy

it could only have come from a prestigious sect

And your team awareness is strong

You're more suitable as team captain than Chen Bing

but even if I approve of you

the other schools may not

Thank you for your concern, Grandma Wei

I will prove on the Convention, whether I'm qualified to stand there

and be team captain

So confident of being team captain

then the last slot in the 5-person team, what do you think should be done about it?

I'll think of a way

Grandma

Piaopiao and I will definitely resolve this issue

Alright

in that case, this old woman will ask no further

you two must remember

to do your best !

See, I'm resourceful. Now Grandma is convinced

Yup, as expected of a member of the Wei family

Who said I'm one of your family?

not officially your wife yet

The master-disciple and engagement ceremonies are done

are you not my person?

nope, I'm not

doesn't count

by the way, Piaopiao

after the Nationwide Martial Arts Convention is over

shall we hold our ...

what ?

You want me to return the money? I don't have money

I'm poor

Rest for a while. I'll go collect the laundry

XiaoXiao

This is the medicine I brewed according to Uncle Chen's formula

it's good for your body

thanks !

Try it !

its hot

bitter !

Good medicine is bitter. Drink more

Add some sugar next time

Alright

I'm beyond redemption

why're you still so good to me?

Actually we're all alike

just that we have our hands and feet tied by life

not really beyond redemption

I've done so many bad things

Don't you resent me for them?

Others may not understand you

nor believe you

but I do

I will accept your all

Oh right,

do you know where Piaopiao is?

The Martial Arts Convention is getting closer

They should be practicing Tai Chi with Chen Bing and Ningxue in the Tai Chi House

I want to see her

and Wei Chu

ok

let's go

Sorry to disturb you two

Piaopiao, last time I caused you injury

I'm sorry

It was supposed to be an enmity between Wei Chu and I

but got you involved. It really wasn't my original intention

Perhaps you no longer see me as friend

But some things

about me

about the Ba Qi Sect

I have to tell you

Xiao Xiao

You've always been my best friend

WeiChu

as to

whether you caused my grandfather's death

I haven't come to a conclusion yet

Let's leave that for later

After my grandfather passed away

I succeeded him as Ba Qi Sect leader

Come to think of it, I've always felt it strange

This sect leader position

Shouldn't it be succeeded by the eldest grandson of the Fang family, Fang Lin

i.e. the captain of the QuanDao (Way of the Fist) faculty, Tan Lin?

Back then, grandfather specified me

but now, Tan Lin has brought back Wang Zhaotian

and seized the position

This Wang Zhaotian is ...

He was called Fang Zhaotian. He's my (maternal) uncle.

He's sinister and ruthless by nature

but his kungfu is exceptional

Back then, in the whole Ba Qi Sect,

only my grandfather could defeat him

Later he got expelled from the household

but this time, he will also represent the Ba Qi Sect

to take part in the Nationwide Martial Arts Convention

You must beware of him

because he

had hidden in South East Asia for years

and integrated many foreign martial arts into the Ba Qi Palm

Now he may have become even more powerful

Also, he's sinister in character

So whether on or off the arena

you must be wary

Me telling you all these, is just because I don't want Wang Zhaotian to succeed

After all, it's he who injured me like this

I understand

(bloopers ... which I'll try to translate :D )

I'll look for grandmother in a moment

halt halt

(singing a pop song about looking at the sky)

(director): cut, ok,

turning such a big circle

I don't dare turn my head

cut

(sorry guys, most of the time I can't make out what the crew is saying T_T)
