and then like, she was like, "We'll talk about it."

So like, I didn't think it was real.

And after "Watch What Happens Live",

I went to her apartment and just be like,

"So what's happening?"

And she was like,

"I probably am making the worst mistake of my life,

but I need to go find myself."

And then like I asked her like,

"Well, what do you want me to do with your ring?"

And she was like, "Well, keep it,

maybe we'll get married at BravoCon."

So like-

What?

"Maybe we'll get married at BravoCon"?

- Yes. - And that seems like

a lot of mixed signals. - By the way,

that's a good idea. - I know, but...

So when I left, like-

It happens in Vegas.

Again, this isn't like a, we broke up,

and then it was over,

and I moved on with my life.

We had been planning our life together for three years,

and she fantasized about the family and stuff.

Sometimes I do fall into that fantasy land

of being like, oh wow, we could have a farm

and a bunch of kids and like-

Yeah, and I love doing that too.

Like I love making up fake scenarios in my head, I'm a girl.

And so, yes,

I have been in a weird place throughout December,

which we continued to talk throughout December.

And two days before new year, she texted me and said,

"I just want you to know like,

I talk about it on my podcast

that we're no longer together."

And then like all my stuff

just showed up on my porch one day,

like then it became real.

I guess the reason that I glommed onto you saying that is

that you kind of definitively said,

Paige called me and broke up with me.

To be fair, she broke up with me on the phone call

by saying, "I think we need to breakup."

- Okay. - I'm saying,

I didn't receive it like that.

Okay.

Now I'm curious,

if you're in Toronto with your buddy, Austen,

it's an interesting choice

that you chose not to share that with him.

Austen, you texted me like,

"I couldn't let it get out yet."

And I like, it was a bummer 'cause I was like,

I don't know if I can tell Austen,

and him not say something.

This is gonna be a harsh, but I don't trust him yet.

I knew if I told Austen, the world would know.

I think that's a bit harsh,

but I understood. - It's harsh, but

that was the honest feeling. - You are allowed to.

I was freaking out.

Like this becomes really real

if everyone starts talking about it.

- Yeah. - It was pretty obvious to me

that Craig was keeping me like a bit of at bay.

And so like I'm not upset at Craig.

I mean, it's saddening a bit

that he didn't think he could tell me,

but we could have talked,

and like he could have cried to me like.

My biggest concern was,

I'm sure Craig is getting inundated

at this moment with this public news.

So I thought it was important to send a supportive message

without any expectations of-

I mean, I've never felt more supported in my life

whether it was you, you guys,

or the thousands of people that watch our shows.

So many people related to it,

so many people are like,

"I know, you don't wanna hear this, but it just takes time."

Like it was this shared experience,

which was really special and helped me feel less alone.

Madison, how did you find out?

Online, and I reached out to Craig immediately.

I think Craig has handled it very well.

I mean considering, I know he was madly in love,

and it's always best to find out now

than later down the road. - Right, right, right.

Well, that's what, it was confusing

'cause then she said,

we've chosen to breakup,

but it was mutual and all this stuff.

And I was like, it wasn't.

There was nothing mutual about it.

Venita, you mentioned on the after-show

you reached out to Paige.

I just texted her, "I love you,

I know what it's like to have your heart broken."

And, well, and I- - Not you, sorry.

I might say,

wait a minute now. - Yeah, I know.

- I wonder if she knows. - I'm sitting next to you,

but it's just, I know what that feeling is like.

I mean, I gotta tell you,

I was on CNN bringing in the new year with Anderson Cooper,

and there was Jon Hamm.

I gotta pour one out for Craig and Paige.

My goodness, end of an era.

That they're splitting up.

What was it like to have your breakup getting

that kind of attention? - Yeah.

She commented on, it was like,

"I've watched this a million times, like it's amazing."

And you're just like, "Oh God, we're so different!"

- Yeah. - Like,

how are you finding fun in this like?

Yeah, that's pretty uncool.

To me, the person that she's kind of been

since the breakup isn't the person that I remember dating.

What do you mean by that?

She's fighting with people in the comments.

She's starting to say mean stuff about me

based on what the internet is saying,

and I'm just like, "Well, I didn't do anything to you."

- Yeah, she was blazing- - Sure, I wasn't a-

- The comments. - Perfect boyfriend.

And we're like, I had a lot of sh-- that I had to work out,

but I'm like, it's been an interesting

breakup to say the least.

Taylor, you have any advice for Craig

about going through a public breakup?

Delete all videos, memories,

I mean, you get to a point where you do it all.

I just wish she would've been honest from the beginning

and it's serious questions,

it makes me feel uncomfortable,

like call me old-fashioned.

Nobody was angry,

we were laughing.

"JT, why are you hanging out with Madison?"

And if JT felt there was an issue with that

and we were true friends,

why would he not just come to me

instead of run behind my back?

It was uncomfortable.
