[Legend of Xianwu]

[Adapted from Xianwu Dizun by Liu Jie San Dao]

[Episode 129] [Fight the Same Enemies & Leader of Chu]

[Previously]

Old man, you are quite somebody.

But we demons

are not weak either!

Die!

Star Azure Dragon!

Immortal Wheel Heavenly Tao!

You are the one to die!

Shihua!

The essence cannot be transported.

How could this be?

She summoned me from the Nether Realm with a forbidden technique,

and signed the Past Resurrection Contract with me.

She sacrificed her life

to resurrect me.

Use life to communicate with the dead.

Shihua.

You dummy.

Actually, I'm so glad.

I used to cultivate slowly.

So I wondered

if I was

not cut out for cultivation.

It was you who told me

there are many ways to achieve the Great Tao.

After all this time, I still haven't mastered it.

I'm such a slow cultivator.

Don't be disheartened.

There are countless paths in the Great Dao,

and each person has their own way of cultivation.

Once you discover the path that suits you,

you'll achieve great results with minimal effort.

Hmm.

Thank you, Holy Lord.

I will make sure to put in extra effort and work harder.

Now,

I've found my way.

My ancient bloodline

can summon the strong ones...

to protect you.

I am so proud.

I'm so happy.

Holy Lord.

Senior.

Remember me.

Shihua.

[Lin Shihua]

Go on marching back to the city!

I'll block the demons with the rest!

Stop!

You deserve to die!

Hurry back to the Teleportation Portal!

This is the tenth Teleportation Portal along the way.

I wonder how many more there are ahead.

It's critical now.

We must join the army quickly.

Sir.

[Zhou Yi, the Depleted Celestial] You are here.

It's a tortoise shell which records the technique of the laws of the world.

I entrust it to you now.

Remember, if you save Chu,

you'll protect people of Heavens and all realms.

I swear I'll make it.

[Qianshang Yue, a descendant of the Nine Monarchs]

[King Yama, one of the Nine Kings]

Sit tight!

I never thought that one day,

this blade

can save my life.

[Blood King, one of the Nine Kings] It's no big deal.

See?

[Ghost King] Soul Devouring King once said

[One of the Nine Kings] he'd crush Nanming Yushu,

[Zhou Tianyi] but now

[A descendant of the Nine Monarchs] they are fighting together.

[Soul Devouring King] It's not just about fighting together.

[One of the Nine Kings] Maybe we'll even die together.

Our ashes

might be mixed together.

They can't hold on.

Kill them, and there are great rewards!

- Kill! - Kill!

Anyway, the mass

[Long Teng] have retreated to South Chu

[A descendant of the Nine Monarchs] under our cover.

Even if we die,

it's not a loss.

And if I can kill more of them,

it would be a profit!

[Demon King, one of the Nine Kings]

Right!

Kill more and profit more!

[Nanming Yushu and Xiao Chen, descendants of the Nine Monarchs]

Ye Chen!

I saw Dharma Wheel King.

Could it be

I'm already dead?

You are not dead.

But I resurrected.

Thanks to Lin Shihua, the little girl

with the ancient bloodline.

It's really rare.

I actually see you fighting together with your past enemies.

I wonder if it's a profit or a loss

for me to sign the Soul Contract.

It depends

on how many ones you are going to kill.

It can only be all over the mountains.

Everyone.

We don't have much time.

Let's break out together

and go back to South Chu!

- Kill! - Kill!

They are back!

Open the city gate now!

The demon army is after them!

Open the barrier!

Keep him!

Set the formation!

Kill!

A bunch of waste.

[Black War Demon King, demon]

[Divine Lady Demon King, demon] Let's retreat for now.

Confronted with formidable enemies,

it's not easy for you

to put aside the past grudges

and repel the enemy jointly.

But... it's not enough.

We need to be completely united.

How united

do you mean?

We need a commander.

A commander who can unify all cultivators in Chu.

If everyone has no objections,

I, Ye Chen,

would like to volunteer for it.

Then it'll be you.

Anyway, everyone is convinced.

If anyone's unconvinced,

let's talk in private.

For the sake of the little girl,

I have no objection.

You won't choose me anyway,

so I'll choose Ye Chen.

Why are you staring at me?

I kept silent, but it doesn't mean I'm afraid of you.

I originally wanted to choose Ye Chen.

Thank you for your appreciation

and for being willing to choose me as the commander.

So many people have been killed.

As the lord of the Heavenly Court,

I do not shirk my responsibilities.

The most urgent task now is to spare no effort

to exorcise the demons

and restore Chu!

- Exorcise the demons - Exorcise the demons

- and restore Chu! - and restore Chu!

What are you going to do?

As for this battle,

I already have a countermeasure in mind.

Open the map!

This is the map of Chu's territory.

Based on this map,

the battle plan

contains the attack and defense.

Once the battle begins,

if demons enter the rear of South Chu with the Teleportation Portal,

and break the gate wall together with the demons outside,

there will be no way for Chu to retreat.

To avoid such a situation,

I divide South Chu into Dongyue,

Nanjiang,

Xishu,

Beichuan

and Zhongzhou.

Each area will be guarded.

This is the defensive strategy.

Next is the attack strategy.

Chief of the Tianxuan Sect once taught me

that there is only one way

to stop the demons,

which's to destroy the Demon Pillar.

I decide

to only leave basic defense of South Chu,

and form an expeditionary army

with most of the cultivators in the Zhuntian Stage.

I'll lead it to infiltrate North Chu

and attack the Demon Pillar by force.

This is a big gamble.

If you lose,

there will be no turning back.

Either we make it

or we die.

I'll go!

With us here,

such important tasks as attacking the Demon Pillars

is not your business.

You need

strong ones like us.

I, the Blade Emperor.

I, Chu Tianzong.

And I, Su Zheng.

- We ask to join the expeditionary army. - We ask to join the expeditionary army.

- Holy Lord, we will follow you - Holy Lord, we will follow you

- on the expedition to North Chu! - on the expedition to North Chu!

Do you want to have a word with me alone?

I have already figured it out myself.

No bother.

All right.

I will lead the expeditionary army with the eight kings.

All Zhuntian Stage cultivators throughout the Heavenly Court

can join the army.

Long Teng,

Huangyan,

Di Fan,

Zhou Tianyi

and Xiao Chen

will guard the five major areas of South Chu respectively.

Qianshang Yue and Nanming Yushu

will guard the city wall

with the rest.

- Yes! - Yes!

I need you to stay in the Heavenly Court

to guard the Star Chart of Immemoria,

and transmit the movements of the demons to all sides in time.

You must not leave

until the most critical moment.

I will fulfill my task.

Hey,

I heard

some people haven't followed the official account of Legend of Xianwu yet.

I...

Don't say that.

It's just that they don't know how to follow it.

This is the law of advance.

Only by using all your cultivation

to push it open and step over

can you advance to the Tianji Stage.

The purpose of this time

is to destroy the Demon Pillar

at any cost!

All forces, attack!
