[Legend of Xianwu]

[Adapted from Xianwu Dizun by Liu Jie San Dao]

[Episode 97]

[The Imperial Weapons of Chu Create its Own Cycle of Reincarnation]

[Previously] The tribulation clouds have dissipated.

Empowered by Nature's Force,

the Holy Lord has advanced to the Zhuntian Stage.

Crimes?

All I wanted was to unify all forces of Chu.

What's the crime in that?

You traitor...

Have you...

successfully unified South Chu?

Each monarch has left an immortal legacy.

It's time for you to name your own faction.

As of today,

the Heavenly Court is established.

- We shall abide by the Holy Decree. - We shall abide by the Holy Decree.

Since the Heavenly Court has been established,

I've decided to build a wall

to separate South Chu

and North Chu.

- A wall? - A wall?

South Chu stretches nearly a million li

from east to west.

Building a wall across it?

You must be joking.

I'm serious.

South Chu has just been unified,

and its foundations are still unstable.

The Bloodthirst Hall of North Chu

and the forces of the Eight Kings

are undoubtedly waiting for their chance to strike.

Building a wall

is to prevent them from invading again.

Ye Chen,

you know

that a wall

isn't of much use against cultivators.

This is no ordinary wall.

It's specially designed

for cultivators,

incorporating attack formations,

mountain protection barriers,

and numerous restraints.

It's both offensive

and defensive.

If cultivators want to enter,

they'll have to use the gate,

which is also protected

by a restraint formation.

If an enemy attempts to sneak in under disguise,

it will immediately detect them.

With this wall complete,

South Chu shall stand secure, shielded from the dangers beyond.

That's a bold idea.

For the peace of South Chu,

I think

it's worth a try.

All right.

It's just a wall.

Tomorrow, I'll take everyone

from the Heavenly Court who knows Earth Technique,

formations,

barriers,

and restraints

to the border of South Chu.

I'll assemble an army of cultivators

to guard the border

and keep North Chu in check.

Throughout this period,

the City of Pills will offer unwavering support,

supplying pills and provisions.

I'll help out too.

Count me in.

- I'll lend a hand too. - I'll lend a hand too.

- Count me in as well. - Count me in as well.

In the past few days,

[Guanghan Palace] South Chu has been quite active.

In such a short time,

not only has he unified the region

and established the Heavenly Court,

but also built a wall to solidify his power.

I have to say,

he's quite clever.

A wall spanning nearly a million li.

Ye Chen,

you truly have surprised me.

Sire,

then what should we...

Let's wait and see.

Hall Leader,

once the South Chu wall is complete,

South Chu will be unassailable.

Perhaps we should rally the troops and march south immediately

so we can capture it in one swift strike

while their foundation is weak.

Foolish.

[Bloodthirsty Yama, Zhuntian Stage] Do you think the enemy

[Leader of Bloodthirst Hall] would just wait for you to strike?

Besides, the Eight Kings and other forces in North Chu

are also watching closely.

Acting rashly

will only play into their hands.

While a direct assault is unfeasible,

other avenues of attack may exist.

Building a wall?

Ye Chen

always surprises me in different ways.

Now that South Chu is unified,

its people

have finally attained a brief period of peace.

Perhaps, in the near future,

the tenth Emperor of Chu will emerge.

If that's really the case,

we can consider our mission accomplished.

What did you just say?

The Holy Lord of South Chu's Heavenly Court

is called Ye Chen?

Yes,

I heard he was from the Hengyue Sect.

He was supposed to be killed

but managed to survive against all odds.

Not only did he obtain an Ancient Holy Body,

but he also became the Holy Lord of Yanhuang in North Chu.

Now, he's unified South Chu

and established the Heavenly Court.

So, he possesses a Holy Body?

Yes,

they claim this body possesses such immense power

that even the formidable Nine Monarchs Divine Tribulation

is powerless against it.

You want to kill Ye Chen?

Isn't awakening the Nine Kings

and disturbing the peace of Chu already enough?

Why do you still want to kill him?

What is it you're truly after?

The rise and fall of epochs

are as inevitable as the circle of life.

It is the Heavenly Tao.

Yet, there are those who defy this Heavenly Tao

and extend the era.

I am the Immortal-Slaying Sword.

By the will of the Heavenly Tao,

I will end this era.

The Holy Body

is my greatest adversary.

All who possess it

must be killed.

Is there still no news about my master?

I've dispatched more people.

Once we have any updates,

I'll report to you right away.

Thanks for your effort.

You can go back now.

Once everything in the Heavenly Court is settled,

I will go look for her personally.

Okay.

Sir...

Sir Dragon.

Sir Dragon,

where did you get that body?

How many girls are you planning to charm?

[Sir Dragon, Taixu Dragon] In the past few days,

[Zhuntian Stage] I traveled

across Chu.

There really is something off about Chu.

It's created its own cycle of reincarnation.

Its own cycle of reincarnation?

Above Chu

lies a greater world,

called the Heavens and All Realms.

Reincarnation exists there too,

but the cycle in Chu

is different.

In this place, both mortals

and cultivators

undergo reincarnation.

Are you serious?

Mortals have short lives,

but after death, they can reincarnate.

Cultivators, on the other hand,

contend with the heavens for their lives.

Though their lives are long,

once they die, they vanish from the world.

If they could reincarnate,

wouldn't that violate the laws of the Great Tao?

What if there is something that can break the laws

and create such a cycle of reincarnation?

I found the Extreme Path Imperial Weapons

in the Five Forbidden Areas.

The Extreme Path Imperial Weapons?

As you know,

weapons range

from spiritual weapons,

ritual weapons,

and emperor-stage ritual weapons

to quasi-saint weapons,

and saint weapons.

The Imperial Weapons

are several levels above saint weapons.

They can only be crafted and wielded by Great Emperors.

The Extreme Path Imperial Weapons

contain the Tao of the Great Emperor,

mysterious and unfathomable.

The power formed

by their interwoven forces

is enough to allow Chu

to create its own cycle of reincarnation.

It's utterly astonishing

that the Imperial Weapons are in Chu.

The appearance of the Extreme Path Imperial Weapons

and the self-created cycle of reincarnation in Chu

is no mere coincidence.

A powerful force must be pulling the strings

behind it all.

I've come into contact

with all the forces of Chu,

but only the Tianxuan Sect stands out as overwhelmingly powerful.

Yet its background remains a mystery to me.

Hmm.

There's no doubt they're involved in this.

Only they know how many secrets

Chu is hiding.

There's no better time than now.

Let's head to the Tianxuan Sect now

and get to the bottom of it.

Hmm.

Clear the way.

Clear the way!

This guy must be on a lucky streak.

Everywhere he goes, beautiful women just appear.

[Lin Shihua, Zhenyang Stage, Hengyue Sect's inner disciple]

Are you all right?

I'm sorry.

It wasn't intentional.

You are...

the Holy Lord.

I'm sorry, Holy Lord.

Just now, I...

You...

Don't come near me.

I...

I'm just too clumsy.

You...

What's your name?

Lin Shihua.

Are you practicing the Swordsoar Technique?

After all this time, I still haven't mastered it.

I'm such a slow cultivator,

and I keep causing everyone so much trouble.

Maybe

I'm just not cut out for this.

Don't be disheartened.

There are countless paths in the Great Dao,

and each person has their own way of cultivation.

Once you discover the path that suits you,

you'll achieve great results with minimal effort.

Hmm.

Thank you, Holy Lord.

I will make sure to put in extra effort and work harder.

Thank you, Holy Lord.

I must train harder

to become

his trustworthy assistant in the future.

Did you comfort her like that

because you realized she's from the Ancient Clan?

Lin Shihua is from the Ancient Clan?

So, it turns out you don't know anything, huh?

That doesn't add up.

The Ancient Clan bloodline is a rare and exceptional one,

and those with the bloodline power

are all cultivation geniuses.

But why is Lin Shihua...?

As someone from the Ancient Clan,

she's unsuitable

for ordinary cultivation methods.

But if she can unlock her bloodline power

and train in the clan's unique secret technique,

her cultivation talent

will be far above that of ordinary people.

In that case,

once her bloodline awakens,

the Heavenly Court will have yet another talent.

Indeed,

pure bloodlines are almost extinct now.

Apart from the Spirit Child's pure lineage,

only Xi Yan's bloodline purity

can be compared to that little girl's.

Spirit Child?

You truly don't know anything, do you?

[Tianxuan Sect]

This Tianxuan Sect

is truly extraordinary.

I am Ye Chen.

Greetings, Madam.

The water curtain projection

is a pale imitation of a real person.

The water curtain projection?

I know why you're here.

Ask whatever you want,

but whether I answer or not

depends on my mood.

Well...

First question.

What role does the Tianxuan Sect play

in relation to Chu?

So direct?

Guardian.

Guardian?

Then, you...

Second question.

Why would the Extreme Path Imperial Weapons

go so far as to defy the Great Tao's laws

to make Chu form its own cycle of reincarnation?

Could you speak more politely?

We're on their turf.

Just thought we should get this over with.

If you're curious about the answer,

it's not out of reach.

If any of you can hit me before the timer expires

in the Sands of Time,

I'll tell you what you want to know.

Can we team up for this?

You can.

Just kidding.

Bullying the weak with numbers isn't our style,

right,

Sir Dragon?

Exactly.

Taixu Dragon Sword Slash.

Sir Dragon,

let's use that move.

- Eight Heavenly Dragons! - Eight Heavenly Dragons!

- Nine Palaces Heaven Seal! - Nine Palaces Heaven Seal!

She must be cheating.

The time is almost up.

You are running out of time.

Whirling Blades!

Dragon God's Restriction.

Earth-Shattering Strike!

Dragon Wrath Slash!

[Next Episode] I'm not exaggerating.

Hurry and have a child with Ji Ningshuang.

Your offspring

will definitely be...

Get lost.

I think Sir Dragon is right.

Perhaps, with our special bloodlines,

we can create a superior lineage.

What...

What's going on here?

- Attack! - Attack!

I have lost control over my body.

Thunder Blaze Dragon Slash!
