[Episode 89] [Hidden Feelings, Nether Techniques]

[Previously]

Ye Chen,

please save my father.

His situation is not just about a spell.

He's also suffered a core injury.

Core injury?

Kill!

hurry

and refine the spell!

- Ye Chen! - Ye Chen!

Are you alright?

No one bothered to wipe all this sweat off my face.

I guess I'm just invisible now that I'm old.

Father!

Finally you are back.

Sui,

what exactly did you encounter a hundred years ago?

Why did you appear in Nanyan Marshes?

And why are you so badly injured?

Nanyan Marshes.

Back in the day, I was searching for an opportunity to ascend.

So I went to Nether Valley, one of the Five Forbidden Areas.

I didn't expect it to be so perilous there.

Eventually, I was gravely injured and fell unconscious.

When I woke up,

I found myself here and now.

There's a rumor that the Nether Valley

can appear anywhere in Chu at any time,

like a ghostly apparition.

You ended up in Nanyan Marshes

probably because of this.

Sorry to have made you worry.

Father,

this is Ye Chen.

He's the one who healed your injuries.

Sui Feng

greets Mr. Hong Chen.

Really?

Again?

Sir,

please get up.

I'm not Hong Chen.

You've got it wrong.

No?

But you two look so...

You're definitely mistaken.

I know this kid's background very well.

He is not the same person

as the Hong Chen you mentioned.

I see.

I misunderstood.

Ye Chen,

I owe you my life.

I can't thank you enough.

If you don't mind,

I would like to teach you a secret blade technique.

How about it?

The Blade Emperor is a peerless master in Chu.

His secret technique

must be extraordinary.

Thank you, sir.

World Beheadings?

He already knows that move.

Try something else.

Mr. Hong Chen

taught me the technique.

Ye Chen,

how did you know it?

Mr. Hong Chen

taught you that?

Long ago,

under his guidance,

I learned about World Beheadings.

After a hundred years of practice,

I finally grasped its intricacies,

earning the title of Blade Emperor.

Who exactly is this Hong Chen?

He also knows the World Beheadings,

has the Immortal Wheel Eye,

and looks just like me!

Could such a coincidence truly exist in the world?

Could it be that he...

Ye Chen,

since I can't teach you that technique,

tell me what reward you'd like.

I

will do my best to grant it.

I do have one request.

Soon,

I will lead the Hengyue Sect,

the Qingyun Sect,

Yanhuang,

and many prominent families of Chu

to attack the Zhengyang Sect.

I would like

to ask for your assistance.

I heard that Yanhuang was unified

and its Holy Lord was incredibly mysterious.

I never expected it

to be you.

It's been only a few days,

and you've taken over the Hengyue Sect and the Qingyun Sect.

With so many people at your command,

do you still need our help?

Within the Zhengyang Sect,

there is a mysterious powerhouse,

known as the Dharma Wheel King, one of the Nine Kings.

He is incredibly mighty.

No one here can match him

other than you.

Wasn't he slain by the Zhan Emperor?

He didn't die.

Instead, he survived through some strange means.

Now,

he is hiding within the Zhengyang Sect.

If that's truly the case,

I'd very much like to face him in battle.

However,

you'll have to wait a few days.

I need time to recover to my peak state.

I shall await you at Hengyue.

I have important matters to attend to,

so I will take my leave.

Let's go.

Ye Chen.

Show more courage.

Ye Chen,

I...

Never mind.

Take care.

Take care.

What's going on?

Isn't it obvious?

She's fallen for him.

Where do you plan to go next?

You can't return to the Zhengyang Sect like this, can you?

I...

The Dharma Wheel King's seal on me is weakening.

Since the seal has been lifted,

and my strength is almost fully restored,

we'll part ways here.

Until we meet again.

In that case,

I won't be polite.

Ye Chen?

[Nine Pure Pavilion]

Hengyue Sect?

Spiritual Palm!

Why did you bring me here?

Calm down.

Since you don't have anywhere else to go,

you might as well stay.

Anyway, you're no longer Zhengyang's saintess.

That's none of your business.

Frostbound Realms!

Are you serious?

Whether or not I'm from the Zhengyang Sect

is no reason for your ambush and imprisonment of me.

What if I insist?

The Zhengyang Sect, driven by selfish desires,

has harmed my family and friends.

Even you have been hunted by them.

Do you still want to defend them?

If such a sect isn't eliminated,

South Chu will never have peace.

Stay.

Why?

Because

I need you.

It seems

we came at the wrong time.

We were so worried about you,

but it turns out

you had a lovely companion.

Can I say this is all a misunderstanding?

Master,

is this beautiful lady your wife?

What about Grandmaster Xuan'er?

You silly girl.

Your master can have many wives, you know.

I didn't expect this from you.

You are already with your master, and still engaged to me,

yet you're flirting with this one.

I'm so unfortunate.

You're engaged to her?

Doesn't that mean Master has three wives?

Ye Chen,

you scoundrel!

Martial Aunt Ling'er,

you've really misunderstood.

I...

I just want her power.

How could you do this to Xuan'er?

She saved you

and even...

I'll stay.

Wait.

Are you really willing to stay and help me?

Ye Chen!

Martial Aunt Ling'er, please stop!

Don't hit my face.

Don't hit there either.

Are you really going to live here?

Maybe you should reconsider.

With you next to me,

I'm afraid I won't be able to sleep.

I won't disturb anyone.

The Dharma Wheel King is far stronger than both of us.

Moreover,

he has an entire Nether Army

and countless Nether Commanders.

What are your chances of winning?

The chances

aren't great.

That's why I've been gathering support from all sides.

I brought you back

because I need you.

To help me have a child.

You're not Ye Chen.

Well,

those words weren't from me.

They were from the Taixu Dragon.

You're shameless!

Did you do this on purpose?

I was helping you.

One of you has the Ancient Holy Body,

and the other has the Spiritual Body.

Your offspring

will be a force to reckon with.

Otherwise,

why did I push you

to marry Shangguan Hanyue?

How are you connected to the Taixu Dragon?

It's a long story.

I'll explain it to you later.

By the way,

do you know how to forge Nether Warriors?

Although I've always been in the Zhengyang Sect,

I know nothing about the forging methods of Nether Warriors.

However,

this one

was placed by the Dharma Wheel King

to protect me.

Later, it attacked me under his control.

In a moment of desperation,

I sealed it in my spiritual weapon.

Maybe you can figure out its mechanism.

Thunderous Divine Retribution!

Nether Warriors are controlled by the Dharma Wheel King

as long as they're outside.

Then I'll take it to a place where he can't control it.

I'll study this thing thoroughly.

Take some rest.

Xuan'er,

where on earth have you gone?

If you don't come back soon,

that womanizer will forget you.

Is His Majesty truly here?

[Ancient Realm of Spirits]

[Subordinates of Ghost King, Zhuntian Stage]

Who are you

and why are you helping us?

- I am the Sword of Heaven - I am the Sword of Heaven

- representing the will of the heavens. - representing the will of the heavens.

- It's time for them to wake up. - It's time for them to wake up.

Lunar Sunstone,

Celestial Dewdrop,

Veiled Gold,

and Ethereal Silk Jade.

Using these natural treasures

to create the Shadow Talisman.

Applying the Spirit's Imprint

on it

allows control of the Nether Warriors.

Other materials are easy to find,

but the Ethereal Silk Jade

seems to only exist in the Ancient Realm of Spirits.

Looks like

a trip is needed.

Your Majesty,

wake up.

[Next Episode] What could be inside that coffin?

The aura it emits is eerie and unsettling.

Gu Santong,

you may have escaped last time,

but this time, fate won't be so kind.

Wondering why I can evade all your attacks?

Within a hundred breaths,

every move of yours falls under the prediction of my Ghost Eye.

Prepare to meet your end.

Oh no.
