[Legend of Xianwu]

[Adapted from Xianwu Dizun by Liu Jie San Dao]

[Episode 87] [Past Flames, New Clash]

[Previously] Ye Chen,

your head,

I will come for it myself someday.

I came here to ask you to help me find my mother.

Your Immortal Wheel Eye

sees things that we cannot.

For this reason, Guanghan Palace is willing to ally with you

and lend you a helping hand.

I was awakened by a mysterious person.

I think my old friends were as well.

Chu is facing a turning point.

Why haven't they come back?

Is something wrong?

Xi,

can't you wish me well?

Master,

finally you're back!

I was so worried.

Weren't you worried about me?

You have her to worry about you.

Pardon me.

Mr. Danchen,

I've come here

not only to express my gratitude for saving me in the Luangu Prairie

but also to propose an alliance

between the City of Pills and us.

An alliance?

As per our legacy,

the City of Pills stays out of all disputes.

Elders,

though the City of Pills holds neutral,

it's hard to stay unscathed

in these tumultuous times.

You can't predict

where the next danger will come from.

Thus, you need a strong ally.

I hold the forces of Yanhuang,

Hengyue,

Qingyun,

the Shangguan family and so on.

While not overwhelmingly powerful,

we can at least safeguard you

and the City of Pills.

Master,

I think he's made a point.

Ye Chen,

we can ally with you,

but there's a condition.

What's that?

You shall take on the next Lord of the City of Pills,

in the capacity of the Pill Saint.

As the Saintess,

Xuan Nv should be the next City Lord.

You surpass me in alchemy,

cultivation, and strategy.

Hence,

you're the fit to lead the City of Pills.

Given how far we've taken this conversation,

it would be ungracious of me not to accept.

Ye Chen will be the city lord from now on!

Mr. Danchen,

please investigate the spies within the city.

This matter, along with the alliance,

must not leak out,

especially not to the Zhengyang Sect.

OK.

Now,

I have some matters to attend to.

Ye Chen,

scram!

Elder's got the best temperament around.

How did you provoke him?

I just took a bit more of the alchemy ingredients.

A bit more?

Why don't you empty the City of Pills' treasury?

The pill I'm refining

is quite special.

It's Tianji Pill, right?

Mr. Danchen,

your insight is truly sharp.

Check this out.

Mr. Danchen, are you studying that too?

It can

help Zhuntian Stage cultivators reach the Tianji Stage.

As chaos looms,

if we can forge this pill,

we'll wield the strength needed

to safeguard those around us.

I feel the same.

Yet, your pill formula is incomplete.

But if we combine ours,

we can deduce about 70 percent of the recipe.

Seventy percent?

We can try and start the alchemy.

We're still short

of dragon blood,

phoenix marrow,

and qilin horn,

the three main ingredients.

All of them are from the divine beasts.

These three ingredients

are unavailable even in the City of Pills.

Forget it.

It's not urgent.

Since the matter of the City of Pills has been resolved,

I'll head back to Hengyue

to make further arrangements.

Ye Chen,

are you leaving?

We'll meet soon.

Take care.

You too.

There's a fight going on.

It's her.

Heavenly Spirit Mirror!

What is this?

The aura matches the Nether Warriors from the Zhengyang Sect,

but it's far more potent.

These Nether Commanders are forged with evil intentions.

If I'm not mistaken,

it must be the work of that mysterious person.

What's caused them

to turn on each other?

Why would I know?

But if you don't intervene soon,

your old flame might meet her demise.

What old flame?

Cut it off.

Ye Chen?

Just a coincidence.

I'm here to repay your help

at the Luangu Prairie.

These Nether Commanders

are even tougher than those Nether Warriors.

Taixu Dragon Forbiddance.

Why is it not working?

World Flame Slash.

Like the Nether Warriors,

once beheaded, it'll fall silent.

So tough?

Taixu Shift.

Let all swords become one!

Taixu Step.

Supreme Slash!

Quite a handful it is.

Ye Chen, watch out!

How is it possible?

Let's see how you can move

after being cut into pieces.

Taixu Slash!

Still not dead?

I'll make you reduced to ashes.

There's no way you'll rise again.

Seems that dealing with the Zhengyang Sect later

will be a bit tricky.

Aren't you and that creature on the same side?

Why would it attack you?

Have you heard of Dharma Wheel King?

Could it be that

the powerhouse among the Nine Kings behind the Zhengyang Sect,

is actually him?

Once,

he contended with the Zhan Emperor, one of the Nine Monarchs,

for supremacy over Chu.

Ultimately,

he was subdued by the Zhan Emperor.

Now that he's awakened,

he seeks to harness the power of Zhengyang

to rebuild the Nether Army.

By refining Spiritual Bodies

and Bodies of the Tao, along with other special bloodlines,

he can create

even more powerful Nether Warriors and Commanders.

That's why you got...

Ye,

run!

It's Dharma Wheel King!

There's no doubt.

I've felt this terrifying aura before

when facing Kui Yujiang the Demon King.

Immortal Wheel Heavenly Tao,

open!

The Nature's Forces here

are repelling us.

You must be Ye Chen.

An Ancient Holy Body.

It seems today is destined to be quite fruitful.

If you willingly come back with me,

you can avoid unnecessary suffering.

Can you still fight?

I've regained about 60 percent.

Let's go all out!

So pathetic.

A Spiritual Body

can effortlessly harness Nature's Forces for its own use.

Should I integrate it into the Warriors and Commanders,

there would undoubtedly be a significant transformation.

Taixu Divine Punishment.

Destroy!

Spiritual Eye!

Annihilate!

Restrain!

No.

Ye Chen!

There's a hint of a tragic romance between you two.

I, however, am not patient enough to be an audience.

I'll take you down!

Divine Sorrow!

Gall without wit.

Eternal Wheel.

Fleeting Realm.

This is bad.

Immortal Wheel Heavenly Illumination.

That won't work on me.

An Ancient Holy Body,

Secret Techniques from Taixu Dragon Clan and Immortal Race.

Ye Chen,

You're truly full of surprises.

[Next Episode] Ye Chen,

any more surprises you're hiding up your sleeve?

Sky-Breaking Talisman.

Are you the reincarnation of a jinx?

Trouble follows you wherever you go.

Ye Chen.

Saintess of the Zhengyang Sect?

So it seems,

your encounter was destined.

That's nonsense.

It's just a coincidence that we met.

Otherwise, I wouldn't...
