[Legend of Xianwu]

[Adapted from Xianwu Dizun by Liu Jie San Dao]

[Episode 86] [Descendant Awakens, Nine Kings Rise]

[Previously] You're from the Demon Realm?

How many people have been killed to refine this Blood Demon Sea?

Including the six of you,

merely 100,000 people.

I have always been the one to trick others,

I didn't think I'd fall into someone else's hands today.

City Lord,

you guys hang on,

I'll go back to get help.

It seems that I'll still have to kill you first.

Die!

Oh no.

Taixu Cave!

What is this kid's background?

How is his spiritual energy so powerful?

I have killed many people at the Zhuntian Stage,

but Pill Demon is too strong.

You've hit a wall, right?

Though the highest stage in Chu is the Zhuntian Stage,

after years of accumulation,

some Zhuntian cultivators outmatch their peers.

He is from the generation of Dan Chen's martial granduncle.

Living this long, he must have quite a few aces up his sleeve.

I must kill with one strike.

Taixu Dragon Mountain!

Taixu Divine Punishment!

Oh no.

You forced me to do this.

Demonic Fiend Heavenly Gate!

That is the Demon King's Tirthika Dharma Lakshana.

Today,

you are doomed.

Demonic cultivation,

activate.

Cauldron, come.

Map, come.

Blade, come.

Ye Chen!

He is ridiculously strong.

Kid,

you're not even close.

Looks like I'll have to use Heavenly Illumination.

Silencing Demon Finger!

Oh no.

[Qianshang Yue, Zhuntian Stage, Lord of Guanghan Palace]

An extraordinary aura.

Who are you?

Ye Chen is under my protection.

Demon King, I hope you will do me this favor.

Your asking for a favor is worthless to me.

Behave yourself and guard your Nether Underworld.

I have something important to ask Ye Chen,

so

I must protect him.

You think I am negotiating with you?

Pill Demon.

Moon Rises Starry Sky.

What a day.

Everyone at Zhuntian Stage I've met today is so remarkably powerful.

I can't beat Pill Demon,

but can't I beat you guys?

Four of you stay to maintain the formation.

The other two come with me to hold him back.

Losing focus in combat can be fatal.

Let's go all out!

Burning blood to increase strength

is seriously going for it.

Suppress!

In terms of the power of origin,

the Ancient Holy Body has never been afraid.

Break!

Furnace Nourishes All!

Taixu Slash!

Mr. Dan Chen,

are you all right?

Fine.

Just exhausted too much energy in the Blood Demon Sea.

A good opportunity.

Taixu Step!

If it weren't for you,

my plan would have come to fruition.

I can't vent my hatred without killing you.

Don't be afraid,

I said I would protect you.

Only,

I need to borrow something from you.

My Immortal Wheel Eye activated on its own.

It's Divine Illumination.

What kind of flame is this?

Ah!

Don't run away!

Want to kill my man?

Have you asked me?

Ye Chen,

your head,

I will come for it myself someday.

Ye Chen,

how are you?

Mr. Dan Chen,

I'm fine.

Thank you for your help, ma'am.

You're welcome.

I helped you because I need your help as well.

But this is not the place to talk.

Since waking up from the seal,

I haven't seen a view like this in a long time.

My last name is Qianshang,

and my first name is Yue.

Your last name is Qianshang?

As far as I know,

only the Yue Empress' clan uses that surname in Chu.

May I ask if the Yue Empress is your...?

Yue Empress is my mother.

Yue Empress is the second monarch of Chu.

Oh my,

then you must be tens of thousands...

Shh.

A woman's age

cannot be mentioned.

Okay.

I came here to ask you to help me find my mother.

Yue Empress isn't dead?

No.

It can be said that none of the Nine Monarchs perished,

but their whereabouts remain unknown.

They last disappeared

into the Hundred Thousand Mountains.

The Hundred Thousand Mountains that Spirit Child mentioned?

The inside of the Mountains is quite special.

Although we went in,

we found nothing.

Your Immortal Wheel Eye

sees things that we cannot.

So,

I want you to accompany me there.

Ma'am, I admire your filial piety,

but I still have some unfinished business,

I really can't be away.

I understand what you are doing.

For this reason, Guanghan Palace is willing to ally with you

and lend you a helping hand.

Let's make a promise.

Is this your way of forming alliances?

It's quite interesting.

By the way, ma'am,

the Demon King who saved Pill Demon earlier...?

You know Chu's Nine Monarchs, right?

As the name suggests,

nine monarchs unified Chu.

They are

the Chu Emperor,

the Yan Emperor,

the Yue Empress,

the Tai Emperor,

the Tianzang Emperor,

the Dong Emperor,

the Zhan Emperor,

the Xuan Emperor,

and Xuan Chen, the founder of the Three Sects of South Chu,

also known as the Chen Emperor.

And the opposite of the Nine Monarchs

are the Nine Kings of Chu.

In their respective eras,

having failed to vie with the Nine Monarchs for Chu's throne,

they fell asleep or were sealed.

Kui Yujiang the Demon King

is one of them.

The Demon King appearing

means that the other kings are also slowly awakening.

We, the descendants of the Nine Monarchs who were sealed,

are awakening one after another as well

to carry on the will of our fathers' generation

to stop them from doing evil in Chu.

Listening to what this girl said,

I remember the enigmatic figure in the Zhengyang Sect

seemed to exude an ancient aura as well.

Could he

also be one of the Nine Kings?

It's settled.

Then I shall take my leave.

I didn't expect to attract the Yue Empress' forces.

What a pleasant surprise.

I just didn't expect

the one who targeted the City of Pills today

to be the Demon King.

[Demon City Main Hall] Your Highness,

pardon my incompetence.

[Kui Yujiang, the Demon King] Not only did I fail

to complete the mission,

but you also had to save me.

Rise.

Failures come with successes.

Don't worry about the City of Pills for now.

Your Highness,

just give me more...

I'm not blaming you.

I was awakened by a mysterious person.

I think my old friends were as well.

Ghost King.

Monster King.

Blood King.

Chu is facing a turning point.

[Next Episode]

It's her?

Just in time.

Repaying your favor of helping me

at the Luangu Prairie.

Like the Nether Warriors,

once beheaded, it'll fall silent.

Ye Chen, watch out!

Let's see how you can move

after being cut into pieces.

Seems that dealing with the Zhengyang Sect later

will be a bit tricky.

Ye,

run!
