[Legend of Xianwu]

[Adapted from "Xianwu Dizun" by Liu Jie San Dao]

[Episode 51] [Number One: Dragon Soul of Pill Master]

[Previously...] A problem with the recipe?

Immortal Wheel Eyes can tell the refining method from the pill,

then it must be able to find out the proper way of refining

from the recipe of the pill.

He is about my age

and only has a spiritual-level soul,

yet he managed to refine two four-line spiritual pills at the same time.

Since you have the same origin,

then merge into one!

The Dragon Soul of Pill Master?

The Dragon Soul of Pill Master?

Legend has it that only those

who defy heaven and break through the shackles can summon it.

Who is this guy?

Impossible.

This is impossible.

What is this?

This is the pill's dragon soul of Pill formed by the pill's will.

Throughout the entire history of (Chinese) alchemy,

it has only been summoned by the Pill Master once.

I didn't expect it to be summoned by this guy.

Greetings, Pill Master!

Greetings, Pill Master!

Greetings, Pill Master!

Greetings, Pill Master!

Greetings, Pill Master!

Why...

Why is everyone kneeling?

Should we kneel?

They are kneeling to their (Chinese) alchemist ancestor.

We are not alchemists.

Why should we kneel?

I see.

This is the legendary Dragon Soul of Pill Master?

It seems that he is the winner of this year's competition.

Right. Who else?

What is your name, young one?

I am

Haotian Chenye.

I declare

that Haotian Chenye

has won first place in this Pill Competition,

receiving the chance to view the Book of Pills!

- Congratulations, young one. - Congratulations, young one!

You are so talented

at such a young age.

Who is your master?

Would you be willing to refine a pill for me?

Your last name is Haotian.

Are you the son of Haotian Xuanzhen?

I just chose a random name.

Who knew there really is such a family.

What a coincidence.

No.

It's just a coincidence.

I don't know any Haotian Xuanzhen.

I see.

It seems I've made a mistake.

Forgive me.

Luo Xi...

Let's go.

Chenye.

This is my senior, Xuannv.

Congratulations

on winning the Pill Competition.

Thank you.

You are also very skilled,

beautiful as well.

How did you think of

combining two pills into one?

I've never thought of

this kind of alchemy.

I also thought of it on a whim.

These two pills have the same origin

and the same effect

If merged together,

the efficacy may be doubled.

Are you okay?

I'm...

I'm okay.

You look great together,

a perfect match.

Chenye.

Do you want to be my senior's husband?

This way,

we'll be even closer.

How am I worthy of your senior?

If I get married on this trip,

I will definitely be beaten into a pig head by Master when I return.

City Lord.

Xi and Xuan

seem to be acquainted with this Haotian Chenye?

Couldn't even win against a stupid kid?

What a good-for-nothing!

If we cannot get the Book of Pills,

how will you report back to Hall Leader?

No need for you to remind me.

I have many solutions.

Don't forget.

I used to be from the City of Pill.

You're here.

Then let's go to the Pavilion of Pills.

The Book of Pills is there.

I didn't expect the formation leading to the Pavilion of Pills

to be hidden in the competition arena.

Dan Chen indeed set up the teleportation formation here.

I know all his little tricks

from studying him over the years.

[Pavilion of Pills]

I didn't expect the Pavilion of Pills

to be built in the mid-air.

Actually,

the Pavilion of Pills

is not an actual physical structure,

but an ideorealm created by the Book of Pills.

Back then,

Pill Master wanted to pass on his lifelong worth to future generations,

but feared of external competition,

so he came up with the solution

of turning the book into an ideorealm

and worked very hard to set up a floating formation

hidden among the clouds.

Where you are heading next,

the two of us cannot accompany you.

Young one.

Please follow Lord Dan inside.

This is the Pavilion of Pills.

Inside here,

you are to enter alone.

When it is time,

I will come greet you.

This Barrier-breaking Pestle is indeed fantastic.

Too bad

it can only be used once.

You dare to intrude the forbidden area of the City of Pill?

Bloodthirst Hall.

Have you considered the consequences of offending the City of Pill?

We don't care about the consequences.

As long as we kill all of you,

no one else will know.

[Pavilion of Pills, Interior]

What mysterious atmosphere.

Bone-building Pill.

Take two stalks of Heavenly Demon Grass.

Are all these ideorealms floating in mid-air

be pill recipes?

Only when the corresponding bamboo slip is found

will the pill recipe appear.

But there are so many pill recipes,

when can I find high-level Longevity Pills?

The ideorealms swallowed by the Dragon Soul

appeared in my Consciousness Domain as pill recipes.

So the Dragon Soul of Pill Master also has this effect.

Then if the Dragon Soul can swallow all the ideorealms,

I'm bound to come across several methods of refining Longevity Pills.

Dragon Soul of Pill Master.

Help me find Longevity Pills,

the high level ones.

This is...?

Dan Chen.

It has been so many years.

How does the poison pill I specially refined for you

feel?

Who

are you?

You kicked me out of the City of Pill back then.

you've already forgotten it all.

You are...

Ghost of Pills.

Vile creature.

You dare to come back?

City of Pill is not a place for you to be presumptuous!

Get out of my way!

Thanks to the Dragon Soul of Pill Master,

I have collected many high-level four- and five-line pills.

I even got several kinds of Longevity Pills.

I'll study and digest them slowly once I get back.

Blood Pupil?

Didn't think I could break in, did you?

Hengyue Sect's kid.

Listen up,

the Book of Pills belongs to me.

You are

Ghost of Pills?

You are still not dead?

I haven't settled the score with you yet.

How could I die so easily?

No wonder he wanted to kill me the first time he saw me.

No wonder he is so hostile toward City of Pill.

Will dodging do any good?

If you admit defeat now,

I'm willing leave your corpse in one piece.

Transform one sword into ten thousand swords,

Ten Thousand Swords.

Slash!

[Next episode] Ye Chen.

Finally.

Don't be sad.

If you can't bear to part with him,

I will send you down to see him.

Blood Pupil

lost.

More than lost,

he is toast.

You can't bear to part with him either,

I will send you down right now.
