[Legend of Xianwu]

[Adapted from "Xianwu Dizun" by Liu Jie San Dao]

[Episode 50] [Rivals meet in City of Pill]

[Previously...] There might be...

I'm sure the Book of Pills located in the City of Pill

has a record of a pill that extends one's life.

Remember.

Your name is now Blood Pupil.

Don't cause any trouble after you enter the City of Pill.

Let me teach you some manners.

Blood Pupil

Don't forget your objective.

First round of the Pill Competition.

Refine a Two-line Spiritual Restoring Pill

before the incense burns out.

That's black True Fire.

I've never seen anything like this.

Is the pill good to take?

I thought

Ye Chen's Golden True Fire was special enough.

I didn't know there was a black one.

The world is so big that nothing is to be surprised at.

Mr. Zhuge,

in your opinion,

who will win the Pill Competition?

Xuannv.

I was told the talent of this young lady

is unparalleled

among the young people.

Even some elder alchemists are no match for her.

Rumor has it

that she refined a four-line elixir

before 16 years old.

That's why she is called

Xuannv of Dan.

Done refining.

[Xuannv, First Disciple of Lord of City of Pill]

Pass.

First, the top rank.

That's quick.

She lives up to her name.

I heard that she came first

in the last Pill Competition.

Done refining.

Pass.

Second, the top rank.

Who's that?

Blood Pupil, I think.

From Bloodthirst Hall.

He's only a little bit behind Xuannv.

He has great talent as well.

Done refining.

Done refining here, too.

Done refining.

Pass.

46th, the third rank.

46th.

Not bad.

He only comes 46th

with his weird black True Fire.

It seems nothing special.

I guess he is from a well-known family

and it's just for show.

Time is up.

If you fail to refine the pill, please exit.

Second round of the Pill Competition.

a recipe for a three-line pill will be given randomly.

The pill also has to be refined

before the incense burns out.

Three-line Bone Building Pill.

The book of Elder Xu Fu mentions how to refine it.

I got this.

Is there...?

A problem with the recipe?

Pill Competition

is not only about alchemy,

but also about making judgments.

That's a problem.

My book is only about my experience,

but not the recipe.

Ye Chen just started refining pills.

He may not be able to pass this round.

Immortal Wheel Eyes can tell the refining method from the pill,

then it must be able to find out the proper way of refining

from the recipe of the pill.

Pass.

Xi,

this is...?

A pill?

All that matters is it works!

Pass.

Is he going to make it work?

Time is running out.

The furnace is about to explode again.

Done refining!

Time is up.

A perfect Three-line Bone Building Pill.

Pass.

He did it,

and it's a perfect one.

Where does he come from?

A perfect pill

cannot be refined with only luck.

This young man

is way more talented than I expected.

Round three:

refine a four-line elixir of your own choice.

Take the ingredients and recipe as you like.

There is no time limit.

Quality of the elixir decides the ranking.

A four-line elixir?

A four-line elixir is a totally different story

compared to a three-line one.

Are you alright?

I'm good.

This Jade Spiritual Fruit

is mine.

Are they both trying to refine Jade Spiritual Pill?

It's said that it is extremely difficult to refine a Jade Spiritual Pill,

but once it is done,

the quality will be excellent.

My current level of refining pills

is definitely behind them.

If I want to win,

I must think out of the box.

I can't hold it anymore.

Let me do you a favor.

Oh no.

You do have some skills.

It seems like the winner of the Pill Competition

will be either Xuannv or the kid called Blood Pupil.

Done refining.

Three souls!

That's indeed the first disciple of Dan Chen!

The winner

must be Xuannv.

Soul?

What is that?

The line is the criteria for three-or-less-line pills.

If it is a four-line pill,

soul is the criteria.

The better quality the pill is,

the more souls it will attract.

That...

That is...

Four...

Four souls.

Xuannv of Dan is going to lose.

What?

Am I hallucinating?

He is making two four-line elixirs at once.

Where is this freak from?

You only have a spiritual-level soul.

Yet you want to make two elixirs at once.

What a joke!

Done refining!

Done refining!

He did it!

A spiritual-level soul

refined two four-line elixirs.

Even King Dan could not do this back in the day.

His talent for refining pills

must be close to Master Dan.

He is a genius!

Lord,

he must be recruited to the City of Pill.

I am willing to teach him personally.

How dare you?

Based on our pill-refining level,

I will be the one who teaches him.

He is about my age

and only has a spiritual-level soul,

but he managed to refined two four-line elixirs at one.

He refined two four-line elixirs, so what?

It is quality of the elixir that decides the final winner in the third round.

One of his elixirs has only one soul,

and the other

has just two,

while mine has four.

Lord Dan,

shall you announce the result?

I am happy to be crowned

the winner of the Pill Competition.

Blood Pupil is right.

Two elixirs are astonishing,

but the competition is about quality instead of number.

It's nonsense.

What is he doing?

Is he still trying?

Since you have the same origin,

you can be merged into one.

He wants to merge the elixirs.

The two elixirs are from the same origin,

but they have done refining.

All your effort

will only be in vain.

I can do this.

It's close.

It's so close.

This person is fighting with his life.

It's so similar to him.

Kid,

listen,

Yin and Yang can merge into one.

Supreme Ultimate can be divided into two:

Yin and Yang.

My left hand is Yin,

and my right hand is Yang.

What is he doing?

I have no idea.

Yin and Yang are inter-generating, inter-restricting,

and integrating each other.

Dragon Soul of Master Dan.

[Next episode] Bloodthirst Hall, how dare you

to intrude into the forbidden area of the City of Pill?

Have you imaged the outcome of offending the City of Pill?

We don't care about the outcome.

As long as you are all dead,

nobody will know about it.

You kicked me out of the City of Pill back then.

Don't tell me

you have forgotten it all.

You are...

Ghost of Pills.
