[The Legend of Xianwu]

[Adapted from "Xianwu Dizun" by Liu Jie San Dao]

[Episode 31: Battle with Qi Yang and The Best Inner Sect Disciples]

[Previously...] What a horrible oppression.

Even if I die,

I will die like a man.

He's your disciple?

Since you are my sister's disciple,

as long as you pass the test,

I'll forget all about what happened

between you and me.

My soul has been greatly uplifted.

It seems that yesterday's suffering was

not all for nothing.

[For you]

From this tone,

it must be her.

Her apology doesn't seem to be sincere.

Well then,

forget it.

I'm a generous person.

I don't care about it.

It's a Three-line Soul Pill.

With this,

my soul might advance from Spirit level

to Mystic level.

Although she's a bit eccentric,

she is very generous.

This is...

the alchemist's soul

engraved in the pill.

From the soul,

I can see the details of how this pill was made.

In other words,

with the Immortal Wheel Eyes,

when I see some pills at higher stages,

I'll be able to know how to make it.

Maybe...

even the pill at Tianji Stage can be made.

My soul has advanced to the Mystic level.

This feeling is

amazing.

It's a breakthrough.

Master,

what are you doing here?

Do you know what day today is?

He is just at Renyuan Stage,

how dare he challenge Qi Yang, who is at Zhenyang Stage

Ye Chen is really tired of living.

I bet he won't last more than three rounds.

He'll be carried away.

(Master really made a date with Qi Yang for me.)

(But it's fine.)

(If I defeat him,)

(I'll be able to take his place as the eighth best inner sect disciple)

(and represent the Hengyue Sect in the Three-Sect Competition.)

Ye Chen,

I was about to get even with you.

I didn't expect you to challenge me here.

Since you are on Fengyun Dais now,

you won't be able to go back down.

Don't be so confident.

The winner is unknown yet.

(Heavenly Thunder is reacting.)

(This pendant must be a treasure.)

Whatever you say,

since you are here now,

you won't leave here alive.

Wait a minute.

Senior Qi,

since this is a challenge,

it's no fun just to see who's the winner.

Why don't we do it for a bet?

What do you say?

What do you want?

You do have a taste.

No problem.

As long as you beat me,

you can have this pendant.

Glad to hear it.

What do you want?

I want

your life.

Senior Qi,

I'm not interested in you.

Why don't you change it to something else?

For example,

a slap from me.

Go to die.

Senior,

why are you so confident?

You have showed what you've got.

Now it's my turn.

Am I dreaming?

Senior Qi was forced to retreat.

That's right.

Ye Chen was slapped so many times,

but he didn't seem to be hurt at all.

My goodness.

This kid's progress is too fast.

We haven't seen him for just a few days.

- Is Ye Chen really at Renyuan Stage? - He's awesome.

He's a monster, isn't he?

(His speed and strength are)

(several times stronger than last time.)

(How is that possible?)

(My body has been through the test from the heaven.)

(How could I be hurt by these few punches?)

[Yang Dingtian] Xuan'er,

[Hengyue Sect's Headmaster]

you've found a good disciple.

Thanks to Senior Xu Fu's introduction.

Don't just thank me verbally.

You'll have to give me some good wine.

Ling'er, you're so fascinated.

Are you interested in this young lad too?

Not at all.

I'm just watching the scenery.

(Hmph.)

(Glad you didn't waste my Three-line Elixir.)

[Situ Nan, 4th best inner sect disciple of the Hengyue Sect]

Senior Situ and the others are here.

So handsome.

Am I right?

All the best inner sect disciples are here.

Senior Nangong and Senior Ye are also here.

Oh, my goodness.

Still so beautiful.

These are the best inner sect disciples of the Hengyue Sect.

It's the first time I've seen them since I've been here.

Senior Liu Yi isn't here.

[Duan yu, fifth best inner sect disciple of the Hengyue Sect]

Junior Duan, look this way.

Senior Nie Feng.

[Nie Feng, Second best inner sect disciple of the Hengyuae Sect]

So handsome

You're so late.

They've been fighting for a while.

[Ye Ruxue] I am not like you.

[sixth best inner sect disciple] You are idling away all day long.

This young man called Ye Chen

is really something.

Fighting against Qi Yang,

[Nangong Yue] he isn't the slightest bit outmatched.

[the 3rd best inner sect disciple] He's really gifted.

[Shi Yan, the ninth best inner sect disciple of the Hengyue Sect]

I heard he's Chu Xuan's disciple.

If he wins,

it'll be fun.

Why is that?

Because of Master Tong Xuan, of course.

(Though my power has been suppressed by the Ring of Seven Stars,)

(it's still enough)

(to beat this guy.)

Senior Qi has been beaten so badly.

It's hard to say who will be the winner.

A man at Zhenyang Stage lost to a man at Renyuan Stage.

It would be a shame to tell the world.

I'm the young master of the Qi family,

and the 8th best inner sect disciple of the Hengyue Sect.

How could I lose to someone like you?

What?

Being at Zhenyang Stage

to fight a man at Renyuan Stage,

and he uses his own spiritual weapon?

Shame on him.

That's right.

At least he is the 8th best inner sect disciple here.

It is not fair to use a spiritual weapon.

That's not cool.

Senior Qi has gone too far.

Even if he wins,

it would still be a shame.

Here comes the weapon.

Ye Chen is going to lose.

Ye Chen, you have nowhere to hide.

I want you to die here right now.

No good.

It's this weapon again.

Since you're shameless,

I won't show any mercy.

I'll show you my soul's power at Mystic level.

- He's fighting against it with bare hand. - I can't believe it.

He's a beast, isn't he?

There's something strange about this whip.

It's a weapon that can target the soul.

It is a surprise that he has a weapon like this.

Look.

(You have to pay back for what you did.)

Flame Dragon Palm.

Is he...

going to do it again?

It's too violent.

It's over.

It's too violent.

He is so strong.

That is awesome.

He's so strong.

So strong.

He's quite interesting.

You don't have a crush on him, do you?

Please don't seduce this young lad.

You are so annoying.

Stop right there.

Ye Ruxue, stop it.

Why are they fighting again?

I can't believe that Ye Chen won.

Qi Yang lost

and he was beaten unconscious.

Can't believe that Senior Qi lost to a young lad.

From now on,

wouldn't Ye Chen be the 8th best inner sect disciple?

You're too tough, aren't you?

Is he still alive?

That's awesome, Ye Chen.

You've become so powerful.

Even Qi Yang got beaten up by you.

Not bad.

That's all he's got.

Hey.

Don't you think it's a bit creepy?

Why are you getting so timid?

Shut up now.

Let's go.

I have to get home to see my son.

[Next episode] (The Kingdom of Zhao is in trouble.)

(I hope you go to check it out.)

(Dozens of villages have been slaughtered.)

(The way they did is brutal.)

Wait for me,

master.

I am Ye Chen, a disciple of the Hengyue Sect.

[Mission] By order of my master,

I am here to investigate the murder of the villagers.

All the villagers, men, women, and children, have been murdered,

even their hearts were ripped out.

[Map of Zhao.]

The next one

will be here.
