I've successfully infiltrated under the

guise of a researcher as planned

I've accounted no information regarding

top secret development of new type

weapons but I have discovered there is

an unexpected individual at this

facility

the man is dr. Kirk the leading

authority of our nation's energy

research dr. Kirk was alleged to have

died in an accident during the course of

an experiment three years ago

reports were premature and it appears

that he is currently working as the head

of an on weapon project at this facility

the experiment is in the late stages of

development regarding the staged

accidental death it appears that this

country is somehow involved recommending

that necessary actions to be taken

immediately revert to the data on dr.

Kirk

there's a lot of cutscenes in this

opening section so probably gonna stay

mute for most of them okay this is the

first checkpoint playtime is officially

over kiddies

guardhouse are out maybe this has been a

wild night of partying for the guards

facility and occupy the control room on

the first floor

systems from there I'll contact you as

soon as I've cleared the room

handiwork right the brass is still warm

these guards were shooting at something

very recently so who were they fighting

this wasn't much of a fight I don't

think these guards hid anything before

getting sliced and diced whatever they

were shooting at came in through there

ripped right through the steel fence

well the hole is nice and clean but I

still say you could have done this very

funny

we still need to figure out what

happened here continue to sweep the area

so first up a little bit of item

collection I try to collect as many

items as I can along the way because the

goal is to mix as many poison darts as

possible as well as anesthetic darts the

grenade launcher and hand gun are fairly

useless throughout the course of this

playthrough so I just don't use them

anesthetic darts drop Dinos in one shot

as well as poison darts but I try to

only use the poison darts in areas that

I'm going to be passing through multiple

times where I know that the dinosaurs

will not respond so that resuscitation

is one half of a poison dart I try not

to stack two in an inventory slot if I

can I'll talk more about mixing later

I should also mention that most of the

spinning item boxes have random contents

so you kind of have to plan around that

really knowing the flowcharts and how

everything mixes into each other is

probably the most important thing

that's disgusting this guy's been

eviscerated something tour is intestine

straight out look at those

tooth marks it had to be some sort of

animal

okay let's move on there is an item on

this body a med pack but I avoid picking

it up because when you come back through

here after some more cutscenes then it

will turn into an anesthetic aid which I

need in order to mix poison or mix

anesthetic dart L plus plus the solution

to this puzzle is center right center

that's the fastest solution to the

puzzle but really it follows a theme of

getting specific colours in order and in

this case it's red blue green white

there's a lot of generators like this

and the puzzle solution is like this

every time

the handgun isn't terribly useless but I

should mention that it has zero stopping

power and your recovery time takes a

while so the chances of actually being

able to recover fast enough to run away

from a dinosaur it's not that great

so the first philosoraptor we're just

gonna hug that gate over there and try

to take these corners as sharply as

possible because it actually does trick

as a I a little bit sometimes while

you're bending down to pick up an item

the rest of the game will pause around

Regina so use that to your advantage

it's gales at last you're not gonna

believe this he was attacked by some

kind of dinosaur this isn't a joke you

idiot we were just attacked by a big-ass

lizard

there aren't gonna be any more pickups

between now and going to Rick in the

control room about the only real use for

the pistol though is to gun down

velociraptors from behind these laser

fences

it tends to be useless after you get to

the laboratory area in the b1 level

though that's our status this security

system is a snap from the real amateur

stuff so what exactly happened to give

you said that he was attacked by a

dinosaur yeah I couldn't believe it I

just hope he's still alive anyway our

first priority is to complete the

mission what we oughta do is just call

in the chopper and get off this

deathtrap

that's a great idea but Cooper has the

radio and he's missing

hey what's with this monitor that's the

security monitor for the underground

area the cameras offline so I take it

that means power still hasn't been

restored to the area exactly they must

have that aerial wire to a different

power system than the ground level we

can investigate that area after we

finished our sweep of the ground level

okay then I'll take care of the shutters

that are blocking the way you want your

weight in grab the dock and then run it

back here so after a solid 14 minutes of

cutscenes here's the first major

gameplay section

I'm gonna tackle the rooms like so

because the laser fence in the hallway

over here is turned on I can just go

ahead and start shooting the

Velociraptor already that was quick

Thanks so the Velociraptor whenever you

enter this room is going to be going

towards the other laser gate but

basically this Velociraptor is trapped

in jail so it's trying to figure out

what to do we're just gonna take

advantage of the situation by shooting

him from behind this gate also

velociraptors like to play dead so

turning away and Amy a couple of times

is good for making sure that they are

dead before you move into an unfavorable

camera angle and start shooting them

again I got a free hemostat there that

hemostat may or may not be there or it

could be an aesthetic aid but I got the

anesthetic dart m's there as well which

are a static drop so those will always

be there I'm gonna flick that panel to

activate the Walker and grab the DDK

disc in the plug we're using the first

two plugs on a red box later because the

idea is to get as many darts as we can

because healing items are more plentiful

than anaesthetic darts so by mixing in

anesthetic to RM or three anesthetic da

REMS with an anesthetic aid we get three

and

setec dart l+ pluses immediately well

for anesthetic to our l plus pluses but

one is in its own slot at which point we

can just mix that loan and aesthetic

Dart L plus plus and get one poison dart

mixing three anesthetic tar L plus

pluses with a resuscitation will not

yield more than one poison dart you can

stack poison darts into slots of three

or into single slots of three poison

darts but um you can only mix one poison

dart at a time so it's best to it's best

to be careful and not hit the sort

button too early so that you can mix as

many as you can

got another anesthetic aid for free

basically just getting as many

anesthetic aids as we can is paramount

to mixing as many darts as we can

because the game just hands out

resuscitations and med pack ends like

candy and the fact that you're able to

just mix resuscitations pretty much it

will if you have like two full med pack

em slots because all it takes is like

two med pack l + pluses and separate

slots for you to mix one resuscitation a

common question is does Regina have the

same voice actor as Jill from our III

and the answer is no it was a Stephanie

Morgenstern who voiced Regina in Dino

Crisis and Katherine Disher who voiced

Jill in resident evil 3 that first

Velociraptor can be in one of three

places but I just aim it him off-screen

and tagged him with a sleep Dart

basically I'm just trying to put these

guys to sleep and deplete the slot down

to one poisoned or one anaesthetic dart

that way I

it's the most economic use of my darts

so just trying to take advantage of

anesthetic darts while I have them and

trying to sort individual darts into

single slots will make it easier for me

to squeeze out as many anaesthetic darts

or as many poison darts as I can as long

as you have both DD KH discs you can

open that however there is another

random drop before the next encounter I

have to have shotgun shells equipped

just regular shotgun shells H - cutscene

but actually uh just go ahead and

actually that was kind of a waste of

kind of a waste of recovery 8 I should

have mixed it with that he missed out in

order to get more med pack l + pluses on

the spot whoops

the only time he missed ATS are useful

we have like 15 shotgun shells here but

we need to deplete five from a slot for

inventory purposes after putting the

panel keys in the code is seven zero

five zero three seven no take the DDK in

just double check to make sure but I

have my shotgun shells equipped the

t-rex here takes hits ton basically

everytime he lunges to attack and he

also takes damage whenever he roars

everytime he roars he just like pushes

you back with his bat breath

BAM flinch any roars I shot him he took

damage there waiting for him to open his

mouth to attack

interestingly enough his death animation

didn't happen there when he roared but

it normally takes four shotgun shells

for the t-rex to disappear but in

general just wait for him to attack and

you will basically you will basically

just hit stun of every single time but

this only works for the first two t-rex

encounters the third t-rex encounter we

just don't fight him at all the reason I

went into that site area there was I

guess to get the handy with slides but

not really I just wanted the

resuscitation because it was another

spot that I could get a resuscitation in

a single inventory slot right about

there was a good place to mix because I

didn't have any more than like any more

anaesthetic darts and I also didn't have

two resuscitations in my inventory the

code for the store is newcomer in ewc om

now we have two plugs that we can open

this box this box has a free poison dart

and I switch out the hemostat for the

intensifier there because once again

there nothing you

full hemostats unless you have recovery

aids in which case you can make med pack

l + pluses pretty easily but I would

prioritize full med pack in slots over

those once again contents are random so

you have to kind of prioritize things

equipping the anesthetic to our l +

pluses and also taking extra shotgun

shells I try to have 20 shotgun shells

here and also get rid of my extra

handgun ammo it's actually getting

getting rid of your extra Hank IMO is

not necessary because depending on

whether you get an early Raptor or a

late Raptor when going for the second

generator fuse puzzle then you can you

can actually use those extra handgun

bullets to fire at him from behind the

the laser fence I'm just like mixing

these hemostats with the med packs to

just kind of get as many el+ pulses as I

can just squeezing it's not very

economic but it works

this body will either have a plug or an

anaesthetic aid actually I think it's a

plug 100 percent of the time I'm not

sure there was like a random drop here

that you could pick up or not but

generally there's only the key these

cutscenes over here

Regina obviously does take a hit during

the cutscenes but they're unavoidable so

as long as you jiggle the d-pad then you

will not receive any damage Gail you're

still alive good timing

what is it that's no lizard it's a

dinosaur look something's really wrong

with this place this whole mission is

gone so hey it's always either be eaten

out in the battlefield no matter who or

what you're up against any word on the

doc yet I've got to hook up with Rick

again my radio is dead and he's the only

one who can fix it

unfortunately the best way to deal with

these guys because sometimes they like

to group up on top of each other the

best way to deal with them would just be

to simply run around them we're not ever

returning through this hallway ever

again because that hallway tends to

frequently repopulate with velociraptors

so just gonna ignore it

sometimes the Velociraptor will follow

you through into that room with the

whiteboard but fortunately he didn't I

don't think it really would even matter

either but we got we got an early or we

didn't get the early Raptor so that's

actually good for us because it means

that we can take a slightly more

conservative route with our ammo

apparently I've just been notified that

if I ran straight ahead instead of to

the right side of the screen in that

room that's when the robber would follow

also there was another fuse under that

shelf we're gonna be using that fuse to

open up the green box outside of the

control room

so once again that Velociraptor is gonna

jump through the window one way or

another

and he's gonna you know start ripping on

your arm a little bit but as long as you

shake fast enough you take zero damage

so it doesn't count but I try to

minimize on those cutscenes where I can

where I know that I can you know just

kid savagely attacked by a Velociraptor

another day in the office I'm putting

away these resuscitations and these

other metropox for the time being so

this way I can sort my inventory and

also keep slots free for another

resuscitation that I'm going to grab

later what's the emergency

Gale just told me he saw someone on the

underground monitor it flashed by pretty

quick

let me show I saw something brick open

the shutter to the underground area what

is it it's a distress signal from one of

our team members it must be Cooper yeah

or it might be talked he infiltrated

this facility posing as one of the

researchers

can you pinpoint the signal it's coming

from outside of the building to the east

of the rear entrance we came in from

look I'll deal with it later our first

priority is the survivor in the

underground it could be the dock what

are you talking about he's asking for

our help we don't leave our own behind

and what if it's a trap would you want

one of us to come and rescue you don't

bother I'm willing to take that risk

remember our mission we're not here to

babysit that's alright you have your

access to the underground Gale so get

Regina I'm heading out to investigate

the underground I chose to go Rick's

route because I already went Gail's are

out on the speed run because a no damage

run is not a speed run I can take a few

more liberties it was asked in chat

earlier does Regina have limited

inventory space and the answer is yes

Regina does have limited inventory space

ten slots for supplies but unlimited

slots for key items

there was actually no reason for me to

pick up the slide so I kind of just

picked them up just in case also that

laser offense does no damage is just

like stunting backwards it's basically

like the flames in Resident Evil 2 doing

a quick spot check to make sure he's

dead

next I'm gonna equip the shotgun and the

poison darts which I almost didn't equip

a lot of times I stopped and a lot of

times I stop and double-check to make

sure that I'm equipping the right ammo

because each room has different

strategies and whatnot and I don't want

to accidentally shoot an anesthetic dart

when I was supposed to shoot a poison

dart and vice versa it's just gonna

follow Rick this way what I'm going to

do is fire one dart one poison dart

philosoraptor to just get him out of the

get him out of the way and then return

and reload the room so that way that way

I can shoot his friend when I come back

in and not worry about my auto aim

tagging the sleeping the loss of Raptor

on the ground because I've had a few

runs died that way where I thought oh

well I'll just shoot to poison or I'll

just shoot to anesthetic darts and just

run right through them because I don't

need to kill them but it's actually

gonna be faster to get rid of them one

by one I also wait until the

Velociraptor is completely on the screen

and the line of sight is clear so that

that way I don't waste my ammo

because the poison or the poison darts

and anesthetic darts or projectile based

weapons I don't trust their trajectory

for hit confirm

grabbing the plug from this box allows

me to just kind of hug the wall and that

pteranodon will completely miss tom

they came out of

didn't have a chance huh

move in someplace safe immediately I'm

not picking up I'm not picking up the

shotgun out there quite yet

for obvious reasons they're still

Pteranodons out there and they're

they're hitboxes are [ __ ] huge so

trying to avoid them trying to hug this

as tightly as possible I think I might

have actually dodged this one yeah I did

after so many after so many problems

with that Pteranodon and I I like I

believe it was Oasis who told me that

they fly one direction and they try to

like always hit you in the back as some

attacks tend to do in a lot of earlier

Capcom action games they tend to like

lock on to like a specific part of your

hitbox so that the animation can

complete and I'm guessing what happened

was I managed to glitch out as I managed

to glitch out the hitbox a little bit by

swarming to the left so miraculously I

avoided damage that way

I seriously should have gotten hit there

but I didn't if it wasn't for that then

the rest of the rest of the Dodgers

would have been a completely RNG affair

a lot of the times when running through

this area I'd wind up plant I brined up

praying to are in Jesus that he loved me

through the area but

sometimes the Pteranodons way to

cooperate other times they would sew

here's another one of them cutscenes

that you have to bash through in order

to master through these cutscenes I

usually just mash the square and X

buttons in the d-pad it's enough to turn

this dude in the schmucker's I should

also mention that I'm playing on the

Dreamcast version of the game

the reason I'm playing on the Dreamcast

version of the game is because it's

easier to capture I'll go into the

details of why a little later also

failing that QTE

is death for obvious reasons I was just

doing a double check to make sure that I

picked up that plug because keeping up

with my supply count is important

there's another hemostat just

nickel-and-dime my hemostats into those

med kits but the Dreamcast version I've

I was actually playing a hacked version

of the Dreamcast version that forces the

output of everything into VGA

resolutions so I captured it with a VGA

box which is why it looks so good

mix together basically everything that

it results into two med pack L plus

pluses so for this puzzle here what I do

is I start by hooking and then I hit

start then on the next section I do left

up drop down hook I think I messed up

left up release down

grab start

if this is a speedrun it's a bad one

concentrate on the mission Envy the rest

right

oh yeah if Gayle gives you any more of

his bull

be sure to beat him down from him okay

there's another med pack or sorry

another anesthetic dart em bundle in

here so we're going to make sure that we

have an inventory slot free there's a

cutscene with a velociraptor that comes

out of via that comes out of the pipes

there but that only happens that only

happens if you choose the gale route or

if you go back through that area after

Tom dies as long as you keep moving

copies will never hit you

I'll be in the control room there's an

ID card and also some also some med

packs in the drawer there by mixing

anesthetic dart with or anaesthetic aid

with three anesthetic dart M's you get

four anesthetic dar L plus pulses so I

use that to get rid of the bell plus

plus and the resuscitation and get a

poison dart out of it as well so then I

grab two more my pack ends so that I can

make some more resuscitation later in

general as long as you mix the recovery

aid with the recovery items in the

anesthetic dart with the anaesthetic

items then you're going to get what you

are looking for a lot easier whether

it's anesthetic darts or med packs for

pretty obvious reasons hemostats I

wouldn't really uh I wouldn't really mix

with any of the lower level items or

sorry however the AIDS I wouldn't mix

with any of the lower level items so I

keep a stats or anesthetic darknesses

so in general I just like try to use

them to level up all of the mid-level

recovery items or all of the like I just

try to use like hemostats or like like

hemostats for on bed packets to level

those up like slowly and anesthetic

darts I always just use within aesthetic

aids until they're maxed out but try to

get a three in a slot before I max out

the level so that I can get a free

anesthetic dart l + + to mix with the

resuscitation it max out my poisoned

darts so we got the fingerprint

collection device a plug and another DDK

disc in that room and now we're going to

do the steps to get into the laboratory

area we have both of the dkl discs

we have the ID card as well which we got

after which we got from the infirmary

downstairs I could pass through here

without worrying about the velociraptors

because they were like kind of in the

middle of a hallway last time I left the

room enemy positions do not reset

whenever you leave a room which is

unique to diner crisis and not resident

evil plus we're talking Resident Evil

zero in the US version the code here is

five eight one zero four I think that

the u.s. Dreamcast version follows

follows the Japanese codes but the the

PAL Dreamcast version which this VGA

hack is based on the PAL version is all

of the American PlayStation codes also

you're probably wondering but but you're

playing pal why is it sixty Hertz and

the answer is because pretty much every

Capcom Dreamcast game ran at sixty Hertz

because VGA boxes were a thing and they

displayed they displayed things at 60

Hertz so even in PAL territories you

could get away with 60 Hertz that way

before pal 60 Terror before pal 60

televisions became a thing so that's why

the game runs at full speed

the code is for Ettore as a DD get out

of my laboratory so the laser fences

over here and these guys because we have

plenty of em oh we've got plenty of

shotgun bullets I'm just gonna go ahead

and waste them because trying to take

them down with anesthetic darts is just

going to confuse the auto aim and the

shotgun shells do a pretty sufficient

damage against these guys just doing a

quick I was like I'm gonna crack a tee

my throat's been kind of messing with me

lately kind of sucks

so we have two plugs here I'm gonna grab

the poison dart out of here and more

shotgun shells and the slug bullets I

should no longer have nine millimetre

parabellum in my inventory at this point

okay look at that and I by hitting this

sort button I'm able to free up a slot

or pick up this item here because I

don't have to resuscitations so I'd only

be Mele be mixing together the poison

darts at that point seven two four eight

is the code there's a plug right there

which we'll use on the the medical box

outside of the outside of the store

coming up

it's funny how all the all the lasers

are turned on by default here I guess

it's really not all that crazy because

of the whole place isn't a security

lockdown then what good would be Rick

so there's another plug on the shelf and

also another DDK disk which is the DD ke

in order to solve this puzzle it's red

red green red green blue if you want you

can let this guy die by waiting on

hitting hitting blue

was stuck in a gas chamber all alone is

gas chamber in there and kill the

Velociraptor everyone well I suppose the

alternative strata or the all the

alternative theory is the dr. Kirk would

have tried to kill him that's true dr.

Kirk is not beyond murder he is not

beyond murdering his colleagues but I

guess he wouldn't really see them as

colleagues either so after those guys

were gonna get rid of the shotgun

bullets and just carry those 10 slug

bullets instead actually I don't even

eat slug bullets pretty much ever

actually kind of like the theory that

dr. Kirk tried to kill the guy a lot

better to be honest by the way it should

be mentioned I'm actually recording this

live in front of a live studio audience

at which TV slash carcinogen SDA so I'm

just like kind of working through like

all of the boring menu sequences I just

like kind of musing I guess which is

something that I don't tend to do a

whole lot during long commentaries like

this

gonna organize it like such just like in

the pretty picture there's a free bed

first tile we're gonna place as is then

the second tile we're gonna turn to the

right if you do it all in that order

then that will match the picture we'd

better get moving

we've bypassed the door lock and we're

on our way out sweat it I'll take them

all out one by one if I have to

there's an emergency escape hatch to the

dog's private quarters you should be

able to make a clean break through there

gaile strategy is the speedrun strat but

it's gonna be a lot easier to do Rick

just have a notepad open in front of me

and I just like write down the solutions

as they pop up on the screen so

I really like the

choose-your-own-adventure nature of Dino

Crisis the first Dino crisis

so just as they flip up I just like

start writing down whatever letter I see

and then I punch it back in

I do agree though Regina does kind of

sound like Jill and Resident Evil 3 even

though they're not the same voice

actress

I think all things considered the

voice-acting for all the main characters

was pretty good for a Capcom game even

though Capcom games are pretty well

known for having bad voice-acting

I think they sourced a lot of their

talent from various Canadian talent

agencies but all-in-all it's not quite

so cheesy hold it dr. Kirk we've come to

help we're representatives from your

nation's government my nation I'm

touched and what do you government

agents want with me you're coming with

us if I have to knock you out and drag

you back myself

unfinished business I think another

thing about the Dreamcast version is it

actually has better audio leveling than

the ps1 version because a lot of times

the music and other sound effects will

overpower people talking so we're gonna

go ahead and turn on this switch over

you clipped these suck bullets and gun

this guy down the only time that you

should ever be using regular ammo

against dinosaurs is from the safety of

a laser fence because they nothing

literally nothing has the kind of

stopping power for you to be shooting at

them head-on

unless it's an anaesthetic dart L plus

plus or a poison dart

otherwise you're pretty much

guaranteeing yourself to get hit by them

it makes up another two resuscitations

here med pack em + + recovery aid pretty

much means a free resuscitation pretty

soon we're going to be getting a

multiplier that I can mix with those

anaesthetic Dart else they're at which

point I can mix two more recovery aids

with those and I'm gonna get another two

poison darts in a second

there's a multiplier there's another

anaesthetic aid thanks anesthetic dart L

now we got six anaesthetic darrell's

mix with anesthetic dart or anaesthetic

aid then we got four anaesthetic two RL

plus pluses mix the alone anesthetic

Dart L plus plus with the resuscitation

and then we get two poisoned darts now I

can hit sort stack them and there is a

there's another anesthetic Dart L plus

plus with two darts in the slot so if we

use one more anesthetic dart L plus plus

then I can just hit sort and have a lone

dart at which point I can mix that with

a resuscitation and get another poison

dart I think I might have mixed up a

good 15 poison darts this run which is

pretty good I don't think that there's

enough ammo in the entire game to kill

every single dinosaur

unfortunately because Regina does not

have a melee weapon so you can't kill

every dinosaur

even if you're as economical with your

ammunition as you could possibly be you

won't kill every dinosaur actually on

second thought maybe you could if you

like ration it out like based on their

HP count but I don't think it's a really

possible so for the t-rex here we're

going to make sure that we have our slug

bullets equipped with the shotgun do

something about it

we possibly can

was equipped no I didn't do that here

okay so basically fire as soon as he

attacks every time it will put him in a

stunt loop this entire

the only survivor not on the team I'll

we're in this area so trying to grab as

many of these resuscitations as I can

actually no that's a lie because you can

actually access earlier greet boxes from

any later greet boxes that you want lock

so as long as they are the same color

emergency box then you can access all of

the other boxes like it

I'm kind of debating which direction I

want to go because I'm gonna have to

deal with a Velociraptor either way

but I wasn't sure if I turned off the

laser grid or not and I did I actually I

probably should have actually gone ahead

and shot that dude because what have you

tackled

I popped off an anesthetic turn there so

that I could get a loan anesthetic dart

and one slot basically taking advantage

to the fact that I have anesthetic darts

at all to deplete a slot

finally you know I had a really bad

feeling about this fish all things

considered it could have been a lot

t-rex but not instead of fighting em

we're just gonna kite him around

it's supposed to be no stranger to my

channel you have seen that I've cleared

this game by beating it without firing

off a single shot and incidentally the

no weapons strategy here is actually

going to be the safer strategy to use in

this particular situation I'm pretty

sure that what the t-rex is rounding the

corner he takes no hits ton because his

walking animation changes

basically I can't just like standstill

and fire at it with a grenade launcher

which I could get in the previous room

generally though I'm just taking tight

liens and whenever he comes on screen I

just start running just like trying to

space them out essentially

but you got to keep doing this for a

while and eventually the t-rex will time

out and the next set of cutscenes will

start

I got the hiccups

so this is what's up we gotta wait for

t-rex just start coming around the

corner there there he goes now he's

locked his trajectory

he's not going to bother us the choppers

hmm elevator shut we'll have to find

another way

once again copies just don't worry about

those dudes we have to read the document

on the ground they're the copies just

jump around I'm pretty sure I've never

actually had a copy attacked me

I think it's possible that they can't

attack you I've just I've just never had

a happen

door it's for or anything it looks like

Rick reroute to the power which makes it

back here oh it's after we get the

keycard see that's why

no it's still confusing I have no idea

what it work what it operates on her

feet I have no idea what's solving

either of these puzzles does the first

two made sense but these last two make

no sense I'll work on the security

system you handled our escapement just

kind of turns out some lights I guess

sure maybe we need to see

under this shelf is always a plug we're

gonna use it to open up the yellow box

for a multiplier trying to be a little

picky about what I take with me but I

usually like to mix intensifiers within

aesthetic aids to get like a bass dart

if at all possible I'll come back for

the resuscitations later because I

already do have I already do have plenty

of resuscitations in the green boxes

later

shake out of this to avoid getting

smashed as long as we exit this room and

go to pick up the other crane keycard

then the third xenos on in this room

will despawn and we can just solve the

puzzle because this one was really close

just gonna pop it dart it to him

equipping the poisoned darts now for the

there's-- you know Don's in the upcoming

corridors because putting them to sleep

is less than favorable

so for this first cycle it's gonna be up

hook left down release because the crane

will be too far to the left there's no

more moves that we can do for this cycle

pretty sure I found a faster solution

than this and my speed run but I'm not

sure up right hook down left release to

get rid of the one at the top right you

could actually use the same algorithm

but just like hook later if you wanted

to get rid of that other that other

container over there which I actually

think would wind up being faster because

it takes fewer moves to grab the one on

the top right

and your hook is gonna be over that

other container there anyway

so it'd probably say like about a few

seconds I realize this isn't a this

isn't a speedrun but I still I still

think in terms of speedrunning you

sometimes just buy the shirt just buy

the shirt virtue of speeding up all of

the things that I can't speed up in case

I wound up failing later yeah you want

to learn how to beat a game fast keep

failing over and over again you start to

train yourself to do it faster still

gonna figure out what's in these uh

what's in these containers over here

probably like probably like a nuclear

fuel or something

also if you don't get that ddk then the

room will reset

can really decide what all I wanted to

take with me I mean that's cool I was

gonna come back into this room in order

to grab the remaining things from the

yellow box anyway but it doesn't really

matter too much for the time being I'm

just trying to grab all the things that

will help me mix up more poison darts at

the next green box coming up so no

matter which position these the rosy no

Dawn's spawn in you're pretty much

always going to be safe if you move one

camera position so I do that in order to

oh Jesus Christ that was close I played

that way way way too greedy don't be

greedy

don't ever be greedy chat there's

another multiplier there too so

basically just gonna have an

overabundance of anesthetic Dart Elle's

in a second but there is you know Don's

are [ __ ] I get hit by them all the

time in speedruns and they also take a

beating so if there was ever a candidate

for which enemy should I use poison

darts on

then the answer is there is Enid Anse

without question

I was just resetting the room really

quickly because I didn't want I just

like wanted to make sure that on the off

chance that I just like randomly

reloaded my shotgun that I wouldn't

screw myself over by getting hit during

the middle of a reload animation I

actually had that happen to me once

because I forgot that I used to poison

darts on a couple of raptors before the

t-rex like on the two Raptors like near

the Helmer area before the t-rex in one

run and then when I went to go shoot the

second therizinosaurus six enemies with

the poisoned darts the reload animation

for my shotgun happened and I lost the

run because the Thoreau Xena donk got me

also using the using an L plus plus on

the Velociraptor there because we're

gonna pass through that room twice but

even if we kill him he's going to

respawn anyway so it's okay to just go

ahead and use an anaesthetic dart there

I would say that in the laboratory the

things that are most likely to hit you

are definitely going to be those blue

Raptors that appear in this hallway

Gaelle yeah well at least Kirk's running

out of places to hide basically after

pretty much every single event that

happens in the lab the blue Raptors

always respond in that t-shaped hallway

after we grab the the level C key card

so

got to play it real careful so right

about now because I have an

overabundance of L plus plus it's a safe

to go ahead and just mix poison darts

because anaesthetic to RL plus pluses

are not going to be particularly useful

for much longer so mixing up there we're

gonna go back and mix another I'm gonna

go back and get another resuscitation

accessing one of the previous item boxes

but we just got like we just got like

four poisoned darts with this mixture

basically so we're gonna be largely set

as long as we can get more

resuscitations this is like probably the

only run I've had where I've had more

poisoned darts that I've had medical

items to mix or than I've had

resuscitations to mix them with

this is also a good use of a recovery

aid here I decided to avoid mixing the

anesthetic dart the lone anesthetic

Darnell

so that I could mix it with another

multiplier of I happen to get one but

actually there wasn't really too much of

a reason to do so at this point I'm

trying to squeeze out as many recovery

items as I can

BAM resuscitation

BAM resuscitation actually show just use

that intensifier on that L because

effort point is just not gonna matter

but basically I have enough poison darts

to just take care of the rest of every

enemy in the game up to this point you

can pretty much just start mixing as

many poison darts as you can get your

hands on and just never have to use the

anesthetic anesthetic darts ever again

that's pretty much why this run takes so

long is because of all the inventory and

all the mixing and stuff like that

so now I have the DD kW disks that we

need to be able to open up the what I

believe is the final savor of Aegina for

some reason I thought I had for sorries

and I thought I had three plugs up to

this point I don't know man I do some

pretty questionable things in here but

that's also because I'm not used to

playing this game casually Regina it

looks like this door leads to the port

hmm take a while before I can pop this

open sounds like we're not the only ones

having problems I'm glad you're amused

but if that guy gets eaten we're going

to have to retrieve the key from that

dinosaur's stomach you've got to save

him

I didn't lock on as soon as I entered

the room so that meant that there was a

note odds were further down the corridor

I don't actually know what the maximum

effective ranges for the poison darts so

I just kind of waited a little bit to

make sure that they were in what I

thought was the correct range

we have to trigger this cutscene before

we can grab the battery

solution is a CD

plug off of that dead dude

I generally don't even pay attention to

what key item I picked up it's not

really all that important as long as I

remember to pick them up let's just say

that more often than not when learning

the correct route to take through this

game

and having to backtrack for keys

occasionally

the placeholders in this game are pretty

funny

key ship

got another one of them key chip puzzles

it's a lot of puzzles in this area

and the code for this is zero three nine

in order to solve this puzzle we're just

going to group the white pieces into

twos and then we're going to group the

empty pieces on the right side into twos

then we're gonna swap them both so that

the white piece is going on top and all

of the clear pieces go on the left then

the D D K code here is stabilizer s T a

B I L I see e our stabilizer

equiping poison darts here because

there's gonna be a repopulation of

velociraptors here I decided to run

forward and to the right so I could take

care of this one first

I'll start moving this way a little bit

wait for our friend to come around the

corner while we're doing so we're just

gonna do a quick l1 check he actually

kind of arches around the corner a

little bit as his tracking dictates so I

kind of wait for him to finish clearing

the corner before I shoot him because I

don't want my dart to accidentally miss

I've had it happen quite a few times

I can hear that Velociraptor chewing on

something so I like check over by the

weapon Locker just wanted to go ahead

and get rid of him now so now I have

three plugs at which point I can go back

and get one more poison dart for the

weapon box

ya know I'm basically never gonna need

anything else for the rest of the game

I kind of ran out of things to mix up so

I just mix plus two anesthetic darts

there alas pretty sure this is the last

bit of menuing I'm going to be doing for

the rest of the run bummer I came up

short

so the final ddk door code is dr. kirk s

you see k m why a SS dr. kirk i just

want to see if you guys are paying

attention this actually is a pretty

boring section of the game

Rick I've located the main generator of

the third energy

I do remember that once I fell asleep

while playing this game hey come on now

how do I get up the stairs these stairs

are actually quite touchy I could play

this game in my sleep

but at this point there's only two more

hazardous sections of gameplay and most

of the section is just cutscenes I

almost forgot to solve the puzzle in

here so to turn the left one to the left

one source the center one to the left

once put the right one in as is and then

the left one to the left and then puzzle

remember the second key card is required

to operate machinery

Fisher can't wait to start playing diner

scientists we're going to use the

fingerprint collection device here to go

ahead and get dr. Kirk's fingerprint you

could also do it on dr. hurt himself but

it just couldn't be any more obvious

that dr. Kirk killed all of his

colleagues

with the ultimate energy source open

your eyes you freak your precious

creation is nothing more than another

weapon to be misused you seem to have a

small degree of superficial intelligence

it's too bad that it is wasted on one

were saying yes I was saying I

discovered how the third energy could

affect space if it ran unchecked three

years ago I thought that the energy had

the ability to transfer selective space

to an alternate time-space continuum but

I was incorrect the space was not

transferred it was exchanged to put it

in terms that even you can understand

third energy has the ability to replace

a pocket in space with one from a

different time what yes I came to these

conclusions following this evening's

final experiment you've seen the effects

yourself those beasts were occupying the

space this facility is located on almost

65 million years ago right so that's how

those dinosaurs appeared in our time

precisely and that is what I have done

and how many people were sacrificed

before you made its discovery who cares

the numbers are quite irrelevant let's

just say that there were many

extraordinary deaths for ordinary men

don't you think spoken like a true devil

a god or a devil hmm I don't care about

that

only my experiment enough only one thing

matters at this point your grand

invention is blocking our escape you

need to destroy the vortex the only way

to do that is to allow the generators

third energy levels to overload

theoretically speaking the third energy

and the vortex will cancel each other

out if they come in contact with one

another but there is one small catch if

you cannot stop the generators third

energy overload this entire region may

be shifted to another point in the

space-time continuum then we'll just

make sure to be somewhere else when the

shift happens no problem

but we couldn't even activate the device

you're missing the initializer and

stabilizer right where are they calm

down they should be stored in one of the

security level a rooms on floor b3 very

good dog

now you understand our situation we live

you live

okay I'm all set to whip up a program

that will send us to a third energy into

the vortex I'll keep an eye on the

doctor Regina you go find those devices

and overload the third energy remember

they're in a security level a room on

floor b3 hold up that whole floors

crawling with dinosaurs including that

t-rex let's get this situation under

control before charging off here take

if this contains two trap plans for the

initializer and stabilizer I stumbled

over them while searching through the

database fortunately the room where the

parts are stored is not far from here

we should gather the parts and assemble

the devices don't be ridiculous Regina

doesn't have the technical knowledge for

that we don't even know if all the right

parts are there we'd be better off

simply trying to hunt down the completed

devices

it's too dangerous down there she won't

make it you're calling Regina you're the

one who has to do this

your choice yeah it's your showgirl I

just hope you know what you're doing

just don't fail so uh whenever recording

commentary I like to I like to do a

thing where I get chat to try and make

me laugh aw what happens and it happened

uppercase backspace you win because he

just spurred into place a particular

conversation

also there was a Velociraptor here we're

just gonna just gonna put him to sleep

permanently right so he says it's a good

thing the Machine didn't break it's a

good thing that dr. Kirk's machine

didn't break and send hit ly Fitbit and

bring in 60 Hitler's into the present

I think that that is a very good thing

but then friend trap hustla is like it

would have just been 60 Hitler's 60x

painters yelling at folks that space

divas like Hitler by himself would be

harmless without as officers and

soldiers but what if it's Becca Hitler

though

if dr. Kirk brought Becca Hitler back

from the 1940s that's a bad [ __ ] right

there

right so the solution to that puzzle was

3 6 7 2 0 4 and that gives us like the

first two oh my god

yeah this is like the last clutch

section of the run I just completely

winged it here I got incredibly lucky

but those were the last two

velociraptors that could have ruined the

run so I just had to make sure that I

that I shot things there would only be

like 2/3 Ino Don's in the final boss

neither of which that I would take a hit

on so this pretty much guarantees at

this point that I've completed the game

without taking a single head but of

course we still have to sit through a

bunch of cutscenes and do more puzzles

and you know all this other stuff

all in all Dino Crisis no save no damage

isn't too terribly difficult just long

lots of cutscenes you know so if you use

the planning disc here the code here is

two zero four just like it was in the

other puzzle

shut us to Bionic Commando by the way on

the subject of Capcom games with Hitler

Bionic Commando is a very very good one

because you get to shoot a rocket into

his face and watch his head explode at

the end how [ __ ] cool is that and

this was a game on the NES

Dino Crysis 3 could have Hitler in space

maybe ya know at this point because

there's just like not really much else

to talk about in this run I'm just like

kind of bullshitting around so sure

whatever [ __ ] it I kind of messed that

up here yeah like I decided to choose

for the event route just doing all of

Rick's stuff instead of gales strategies

because it's like gales like all of

Gail's methods are faster but Rick's are

safer if I went through Gale strat then

I would have to deal with a lot of

Thorazine Oh Don's downstairs and yeah

Bionic Commando story was wild I gotta

play Bionic Commando on streams sometime

factor in the NES Nintendo was extremely

against violence yeah I mean there

weren't quite so many games that had

that had what's the word I'm looking for

gratuitous scenes of blood and gore on

the NES at least not in America but I

mean you know Bionic Commando is

probably the only one I mean you could

have people die in Nintendo games but

Bionic Commando though nobody cares

it was just Hitler anyway

s sweet home was pretty brutal too but

that never came out in the u.s. that was

a japan-only game

so here it's a three one four one five

most unhelpful engineers ever you can

just toss around parts in zero-g and

hope you smash them together yeah that's

basically how you assemble the

initializer and stabilizer you just

smash parts together in zero gravity and

avoid the demo Gorgon

so before we can put down the

initializer and stabilizer we have to

hit a couple of buttons here then we can

trigger the last few sets of cutscenes

and stuff

this game has a few cutscenes just a few

thousand another there's anything wrong

with it

well I just wish I could skip though

yeah you know there was nothing

particularly like scary or gruesome

about the plot of this game just a mad

scientist figured out how to swap two

pockets in space and one of them had

dinosaurs and the dinosaurs killed

everyone so the plot of this game is

pretty paper-thin I mean you get to see

what an [ __ ] the doctor is because

he's like running around killing his

friends just taking all of his research

with

sounds like half-life

yeah the plot of half-life isn't very

heavy either I think that half-life

might be a slightly moral or heavy game

than anything does he still get to have

the title of doctor if he is taking

lives and not saving them well a medical

doctor is one thing but

having a million bajillion phd's is also

a thing so you can still be a doctor if

you have a PhD

let's take Hannibal Lecter for for

instance

they still call him dr. Lecter

ourselves which results of the best

ending of the game

the ending that is that has a more

complete plot is definitely the one

where have you choose gales are out

whereas if you choose Rick's route you

just leave and there's like no

resolution

it's essentially mission failed

I'm not sure there's like an alternative

ending to this the doctor

there's a chopper over here we can use

to escape good I'll pick you up ASAP

hurry

since we didn't grab the grenade

launcher earlier it's going to be a lot

faster just go ahead and wait to crop it

but you get the grenade gun here if you

haven't gotten it already and you kind

of need the grenade launcher for this

flight anyway just a standard grenade

launcher

that t-rex is like behind us let's go

as long as you haven't upgraded the

grenade launcher it is literally

impossible to get hit by the t-rex just

keep firing it up just stand there and

keep firing at him don't move don't do

anything else just fire on six shots and

he's done

and that was Dino crisis beaten without

taking a single hit

I'd say this probably took about two

weeks or so of attempts probably like

twenty attempts or so

now more than 20 attempts think it was

more like 30 or 40 I don't know should

have taken a lot less but I think the

bigger problem was the was just like the

RNG of some of the some of the enemy

placements and just like not really

knowing how to deal with them the

Pteranodons in particular though but

anyways that's it I'll be doing Dino

Crisis 2 at some point but I think for

the time being I'm gonna be playing

Resident Evil 3 and Resident Evil 7

again for a while

there is a very hard mode on PC but I

don't really have the PC version of the

game the clear time you'll notice is a

lot lower than the amount of time the

video is because the game does not count

loads there's also three endings I might

do videos on the other endings at some

point also for each ending you unlock

you unlock an extra costume that you can

use in new game+ beating the game also

unlocks operation wipeout I might do

operational wipeout at some point yeah

the game just validated me I have mad

skills and lastly you can unlock

infinite ammo if you unlock all the

costumes in all the endings but yeah
