[Episode 18]

According to the date on that Instagram post,

I traced those two models

and got the hallway surveillance footage

from the hotel where they later checked into a suite.

[Sunday, May 19, 2024 – hallway]

The cameras clearly recorded their check-in and check-out times.

Turns out, they deliberately pretended

to be leaving from Xingyan’s room.

They even rehearsed it at the door,

acting it out three times,

and picked one take

to edit into that fake threesome video

to frame Xingyan.

Now with this surveillance footage,

it's enough to prove you were maliciously framed.

I've already reported it to the police.

They'll catch the person who framed you soon.

That's great.

So,

we'll send the surveillance video to the PR company.

Soon,

everyone will know you're innocent.

Le has already informed me

that the film will start production as originally scheduled.

Xingyan,

congratulations.

Thank you.

From now on,

no one is allowed to insult my boyfriend

for being a fallen star anymore.

When I was a child, my family was very strict.

Everything was arranged by my mother.

The only happy thing

was when my father brought me here to ride horses.

Your mother was too strict, wasn't she?

She thought horseback riding was frivolous,

a waste of time.

But I really envied those people at the riding club,

carefree

and free.

So I'll never forget the day

when my father secretly brought me here to ride horses,

just like how I'm bringing you now.

But the good times didn't last long.

Just when I had learned to gallop,

my mother found out.

She had a big fight with my father,

saying he shouldn't have brought me out.

But when I was a child,

I envied kids like you the most.

You could get anything you wanted.

Unlike me,

for just one toy,

I had to throw tantrums and beg my mom.

Throwing tantrums?

That's nothing.

When I was a kid,

I even stole fruit from the neighbors.

Ended up getting caught red-handed.

I used to dress up as a ghost to scare people at night.

Later, the adults found out

and chased me for several blocks.

That's wonderful.

I even ran away from home when I was little.

However,

the farthest I got was the entrance of our residential complex.

That's running away from home too?

Why wouldn't it count?

That's about as adventurous as you got.

The film is going to start production again.

The time I can spend with you

won't be as much anymore.

Hello?

Hello.

Miss Song.

I'm Chu Xingyan's mother.

I'd like to invite you to dinner tonight.

Is that convenient for you?

Yes, Auntie.

Okay.

I'll send you the address.

Okay.

This is a small hotel owned by our family.

It has the best restaurant in the city

and world-class chefs.

I hope you will like it.

Thank you, Mrs. Chu.

You're too kind.

Hello, Mrs. Chu.

Please come in, Miss Song.

Let's see what you'd like to eat.

Thank you.

This head chef, Aven, studied in France.

He specializes in various high-end Western cuisines.

All these ingredients

are air-freighted from France.

The cooking methods are very complex.

The taste is extremely delicate.

Miss Song, you can give it a try.

This is all in a foreign language.

I don't really understand it.

It's Spanish.

Miss Song, please take a look.

If you don't like it,

I can ask them to bring a Chinese menu instead.

No need, Auntie.

Anything is fine with me.

Well, in that case,

I'll choose for you.

Okay.

Let's order what I usually have.

Come on, Miss Song.

Don't be shy, please.

Alright.

By the way, Miss Song,

I heard your family also runs a restaurant.

When do I get a chance

to try it out as well?

I usually enjoy

tasting street food from around the world.

Our place is just an outdoor farm.

The snacks are just

things like fried skewers and spicy hot pot.

The prices are quite affordable.

That should be very good value for money.

Let's begin.

Okay.

Miss Song,

let me be straightforward.

Alright.

I want to make you my goddaughter.

You won't have to work so hard anymore.

There are many positions in our company.

You can choose any one you like.

Also, I'll give your parents a shop.

This way, your parents

won't have to work so hard in the future.

What do you think?

Thank you, Auntie.

But...

Oh, Miss Song,

what kind of boys do you like?

I know many young gentlemen from my friends' families.

They're all quite good.

Mrs. Chu,

I appreciate your kindness.

However...

As long as you give up Xingyan.

Why?

Because

you don't deserve him.

Alright.

Let's begin.

Please enjoy your meal.

If I can't even get a college degree,

and there's such a huge gap between me and the Chu family,

I...

Do I really deserve him?

[Back in Time to Love You]

his journey in making this film.

Thank you, everyone.

First of all,

I'm honored to be the director.

After three months of preparation,

we're finally ready to meet you all.

Thank you for your support.

Now, let me introduce

our lead actor,

Chu Xingyan.

Come on,

let's have Chu Xingyan

say a few words, shall we?

Thank you, everyone.

It's my first time in this city,

and I can already feel its warmth.

It's very fitting for our movie's theme,

"Back in Time to Love You."

I believe if we could really go back in time,

this city would be full of beautiful memories.

I hope when the movie is released,

it will live up to everyone's expectations.

Our beautiful leading lady, Haohao,

do you have anything you'd like to say

to our fans

and our creative team?

Hello everyone, I'm actress Lin Haohao.
