per se as it is an idea.

a all citywide talent show

with the board's approval of course.

- What's this have to do with the city?

- Well, I would love the
winner of the talent show

to perform at this year's
bicentennial celebration.

- So a talent show?

And what exactly would our part be?

- Well, I could use your help actually,

but I would help plan the whole thing

and with advertising,
sponsorships, ticket sales,

and all the great talent
we have here in Briar Glen,

I think we could put on a great show,

and then the proceeds would be split.

that I heard you talking

Breaking news this afternoon,

the city of Briar Glen has
announced construction

of a brand new mini mall
consisting of 18 retailers,

each expected to occupy
the new site by next August.

Now, this project partially being supported

by Town Park Corporation,
will bring a slew of jobs

to the city and an increase
in much needed revenue.

The mayor has told WKTO
that Briar Glenn is on the way

to becoming a more
self-sustainable community.

Dozens of talented
individuals in the Briar Glen

and the surrounding
areas are getting geared up

for what one calls the
talent show of the decade.

The talent show will be held in December,

and the city of Briar Glen has agreed

to a special performance

at this year's bicentennial
celebration for the winner.

Nora Jeffries, owner of The Golden Poppy

in downtown Briar Glen
is spearheading the event

along with the city.

- Will you look at that.

I really think the profit
margin is gonna be huge.
