So Shiloh needed to be born yesterday.

Was it an onset from being pregnant?

A lot of people thought that, and it was
not at all.

Really? No, it was not connected.

I kind of feel a little bit relieved
because, you know, I just carry that

weight. I just felt responsible in a way
because there's gestational breast

cancer. Sometimes it's onset because of
the hormones.

Carried away to feeling like I was a
little bit of a failure.

Oh, my God, don't say that.

Shadina has her own family, and yet
she's put her life on the line to help

grow my family. So I was hurt. I wanted
my baby to be healthy, but I wanted

Shadina to be healthy.

If I wasn't pregnant, I might have
wouldn't have been checking my breasts

often. So it all worked out.

for the good purpose. I mean, and we got
a beautiful girl. How is Shiloh doing?

Initially, with all the things that she
had going on with her, they thought she

had CHARGE syndrome.

Negative.

They just, they said it's a mutation.

Was it the cancer in my body that was,

think about it. I mean, girl, I've heard
it so much.

selfish and not wanting to carry your

child. You know I've gone through seven
rounds of IVF. That is horrible.

Giving yourself four shots in the
morning and four shots in the evening

single day.

I want to be able to lay back.

or ride and then get pregnant.

That is the old school way. I'm down for
the old school way. And I'm still like,

you know, just struggling.

I just had an ectopic pregnancy.

Girl, that was the scariest thing ever.

I finally got pregnant.

I was excited.

But then I started having really sharp
pains.

I was like, I'm going to just drive to
the hospital.

So they're like, ma 'am, you have a lot
of people ahead of you. And I'm like, oh

my goodness. So I get ready to sit back
in the wheelchair.

Blood just goes everywhere.

Your two -bit ruptured. It just breaks
my heart how much Black women

suffer with maternal mortality.

We can never be taken serious.

And sometimes they say, well, you have
to find a health care provider or doctor

that looks like you. But sometimes you
just have to have people that are still

human that believe you.

Ultimately, it's about growing my
family.

So we have how many embryos? So I have
two at ACRM, and then I have two out in

LA. I got two girls, two boys.

Oh, OK. So we got to figure out this
seriously thing. Yeah, OK.

I know a young lady.

I think she would be a really good fit
for you guys. I want to meet her. My

husband wants more children, and I want
to give him that. He's given me so much.

But I'm nervous.

I want a healthy child.
