My foundation, Glam It Up, started off
2011 as an initiative.

Ty and I would call around, and we're
like any girls in foster care. We want

do something with them. After it got so
successful and we kept having events,

I'm like, hey, we're going to make this
a nonprofit. We're going to make this

big, and this is something I'm going to
do for the rest of my life.

Guys, give Marlo a big round of

We're just going to jump right on in
with some questions.

So Marlo, you had a rough start as a
kid. How did you help become the woman

are today?

You know what? I did have a rough start.

I was raised by my biological mother who
struggled from substance abuse.

So I got introduced to the foster care
system.

I was in and out of five different
foster homes.

I was mad at the world.

You know, I just didn't believe I ever
had real love or somewhere I can call

home. I want people to just know.

You're not alone.

I went through it and I made it. So how
can I not have a nonprofit for volunteer

care girls?

I don't want them to go to things I went
through. I just want them to know

they're worthy of everything.

I don't even know how many girls I've
helped total. I'm the one when they call

and say, hey, we have 10 more girls. I'm
like, bring them in. Bring them in.

Neiman Marcus, Sugar Factory, Kyla
Perry, she, so many people have come and

helped me with my girls and they do it
every year. And I'm going to make a

difference in these girls' lives.

I'm always doing things with my girls.

I mentor them.

I take them to five -star restaurants.
My main purpose is to let them know just

because you're in foster care does not
mean you're not worthy. If you dream it,

you can achieve it.

days ago. Her attorney asked to have

her released, and the judge denied it.

What's sad, she's incarcerated right now
for a minor traffic violation.

But every time she goes in front of the
judge, the judge sees that there's

mental issues there.

So the judge isn't letting her go. She
wants to be released to go to weekly

rehabilitation treatment.

Okay. Thank God the judge is smart and
notices something's wrong there. Right.

The judge told him if you get her to
agree to inpatient, I'm not letting her

outpatient. Right. This lady needs
inpatient. Right.

If she agrees with it, she could be gone
tomorrow, probably before the holidays.

The boys can probably go visit this
year.

So do you know with her denying it, my
sister is taking it to trial.

She's going to trial, and you're going
to lose the trial, girl.

She can be in jail for a year. Oh, my
God.

If she was in her right mental state,
she would just say, I want the help,

because the judge is offering her the
help that she needs. But due to the

health issues, she's refusing them.

So right now I have my nanny, Mama Cece.
She's going to go get the boys out.

I'm going to bring them here.

She's going to have a call with her
attorney at 2 .30, Tuesday.

And he's like, Marlo, hey, just let the
boys talk to her.

Maybe if they say, Mommy, go ahead and
do the inpatient rehabilitation so we

see you and come visit you. Maybe she
may say, okay. Right.

It takes me back to my foster childhood
days when my mom was on drugs and

substance abuse, and I didn't feel good
enough for her to get off.

So just to know that they're
experiencing something I went through,

want them to feel the pain I went
through.

So this is just a lot, and I'm just so
stressed out.
