But this particular birthday took on an
impactful meaning for me because my life

got very, very close.

holiday, every good and bad

day has a meaning to me now because I

Even though my God has told me I'm
healed and I have accepted it and I

Regardless of what's going on, what he's
going through, you look around, you see

your support system, your team. We're

that it does something to me. Like, I

because it makes me really nervous to
think that you could lose someone to

cancer like that. It just really makes

The yard guys come and they do this

to help out.

So with all this going on, how are you
holding up?

Today was probably the first time I
really, like, crashed.

because mostly I stay strong because I
want to stay strong for Greg. And I

always think about Brent. Brent is 19.

I don't want to get, like, too upset. He
see me getting upset.

So I try to stay strong. But today I was
just like, I cannot.

Like, this is too much for me.

He is definitely a proud.

I know that Greg is the one with the
disease, and he's the one going through

but I'm so close to him, he's put all
the pressure on me.

A lot of people don't realize the
caretaker. You have to go through a lot,

A lot. When I tell you a lot, I just be
like, Greg, please stop.

Then, when he comes home from the
doctor, he usually is not in a good

He's usually short, snappy, only because
he want to hear, like, something good,

you know, like a good result or
something. They may say, oh, they're

a little bit, and Greg is just like...

I'm doing everything y 'all told me to
do. I'm like, well, Greg is not, like,

overnight. You know what I'm saying? But
you've got to console him.

Yeah, until he comes in the house. Yeah,
he comes in the house, and I say

something to him, he be like, well, he
did this. And I'm just like, oh, my God.

I hold a lot of things in, and I kind of
hold them in and hold them in and hold

them in, and then I sort of, like,
explode. Like, I know that's something I

to work on. And, you know, if you're
thinking I'm holding them up, at some

I see somebody come hold me up for a

I know that you have a lot on your
plate, but thank you so much for taking

in. You really don't have to worry. We
have done everything to make Greg have a

full recovery.

therapist.

So what did y 'all talk about? We just
talked about everything. I kind of,

told her some of the communication
things that we had been talking about,

know, like, just feeling like we have
some issues here lately. I just feel

know. And then, you know, you were

to really cut off who you were talking
to.
