season debating whether you belong on

this show. What do you think? Is it a
fit?

Well, I don't know still to this day if
it's a fit per se, but was it

entertaining? A lot of times, yes.

I want to take it to the group. Do you
think Kim was a fit for the show, Kenya?

I mean, if I'm being honest, no, I don't
think so.

She is often very condescending to the
group as though she's better than

everyone. I remember in Jamaica, she
said, well, if I don't fit in with this

group, it's okay.

Guess what they say about you behind
your back, snooze fest.

If I don't fit in with this clique, that
is really okay.

That's pretty nasty of a dig.

My response was to, you know, everyone
says you're a snooze fest.

So what does it take not to be boring in
this group? That's what it's in

reference to.

Overall, I felt like I don't know if you
necessarily fit in with the quote

-unquote group because we are all about
dealing with confrontation and you don't

deal whatsoever.

Phaedra, do you think she understands
it?

With Kim, I think she is definitely
different from us, but...

You have to want to engage. And
sometimes I notice that she did not

Yeah. For me, I've always loved Kim.

Regine, it was my favorite.

She just seemed a little judgmental. It
was disappointing to see so much boobage

just out.

I missed class.

And I was like, oh, she's going to be a
judgy one.

So I was hoping that that would change
into more of an endearing kind of

situation where she was like an aunt.

You know, someone who we grew up with.
I'm not the aunt. I'm not saying that. I

always say she's like the aunt. Big sis?

Come on. Big sis, big sis, big sis.

Resuscitate me, child. I'm the aunt of
the group. You know what's funny about

that is at that event, I was just
surprised at how much that's the norm.

wasn't a judgmental thing. It was an
observation of, oh. Yeah, but when you

something like what happened to class,
that's being judgmental.

Well, it's my opinion.

To me, you just seemed more
uncomfortable in the group than

you just never hung out with anybody
like us before. Like, for real. And is

right? I don't think people realize that
I'm actually really shy. And I think

people have an expectation, especially
if they have Regine as a point of

reference, that it just becomes, oh,
this is probably who she's going to be.

When you broke down in Miami, was there
a part of you that was feeling like, I

don't want to be on this show?

Oh, not at all, because one, I would
have said that. I definitely say what I

mean and mean what I say.

I just wanted to be with my man at that
point.

Kim, you seem to have difficulty
managing your children in D .C.

Phaedra looked cool as a cucumber.

What made this trip so difficult?

The thing when Quincy's crying was we
got in at 2 in the morning, and then it

was his nap time. So you kind of do the
math and, you know, figure it out. It's

almost like you thought it was going to
be like a field trip or something fun

for the kids. But no, honestly, it was
not for the kids. It was presented as

something that was for our children to
show them that people of color are in

leadership and government, those sorts
of things. So it actually was, and

what it was presented as. So why were
you leaving out then? Why did you keep

exiting? My son was crying, so I didn't
want to be disruptive.

I know, but when you're exiting, you're
like, this isn't for kids. At the office

or at the lunch? I mean, you exited
pretty much everywhere we were, but...

one thing she exited from.

Maybe you should have did what Phaedra
did and got a sitter. Like I said, that

had to check out. Do you regret that?

Not at all. No. At that point, it really
was just about making sure that I was a

dedicated mom.

Phaedra, you didn't invite Candy and
Cynthia to the Million Man March. She

very pregnant, so she couldn't travel. I
think I could travel in the United

States at that time, but I didn't get
invited.

What was that experience like?

That was awesome. So much is going on in
this world, and he is a young black

friendship was the epitome of a

rollercoaster ride, leaving us all

you and Phaedra just spoke and screamed?

It's been months.

If I had your ex -husband's stuff, how
would you feel?

I would feel betrayed.

Todd was having a major issue with me
about my pregnancy video that I did with

him. You didn't even put it out.

Him made a coin off of it, but he made
30 ,000 coins.

Phaedra's just full of shit. She's never
paid him no $30 ,000, okay?

No. There was just supposed to be one
more payment of that, which I never

received. Poor Todd.

Maybe his weekly allowance from Miss
Candy isn't keeping him afloat anymore.

Friendship being broken by money, but I

I don't think I went all the way in. But
at this point, I have apologized.

I've tried to move forward.

You know, it is what it is. I felt a
certain way about the stuff in her

that I obviously never knew about.

Phaedra to put your husband down, and
you allowed her to visit you at the

At the end of the day, we were real
friends.

So in my mind, I'm like, okay, am I

mean, she said stuff about me.

I mean, we both said stuff about each
other. What did she say about you that

pissed you off? I mean, saying, oh, you
know, I'm trying to have a pity party.

I'm trying to get sympathy. I was on
this show and went through a very

tumultuous time. At no time did I try to
get sympathy. The only people I could

say that ever supported me throughout
the time with Apollo stuff was Nene and

Portia.

why did you not confront Candy and Todd

when you initially heard about Apollo's
belongings in their garage?

Why would you see her out and pretend to
be friendly? It seems a little two

-faced to me.

When a person speaks to you and they're
friendly to you, that's not being fake

or two -faced. That means you've been
raised properly and you know how to be

polite. Now, if someone has something
that they know should be yours and they

don't feel like it's important for you
to know... We have a disagreement on

one. Then how am I to know? She's
portraying it to you guys like I'm

So how the payment was set up, obviously
I paid him a chunk.

Then, of course, Apollo would go to
jail. And it was like the project had

abandoned. If Todd had an issue with it,
the deal was always you get your money

when you turn in the final video. That's
normal in this type of business.

And at this point, I've tried to make
amends.

He has been paid all his money.

He said on the finale he wasn't paid all
of his money. Well, I have copies of

that.

They just finished their business last
week.

And I still don't have a video that I
can commercially release.

What's it going to take to get this

I took it to the company that marketed
my other video. And they said, hey,

going to have to re -edit, color correct

Do you think they overstepped their
boundaries?

No. I mean, my team, they go hard for

Well, first of all, she can't even tell

and she don't even know what gossip

means. They teach you what gossip is,
and a cheap underground railroad is in

fifth grade.

But here's the thing with Don Juan.

I would never let my employees talk
about any of my friends.

That's just unprofessional. What I think
about it is Don Juan and Carmen,

they've been my friends forever. It's
all a click.

So that's why he was trying to take up

he did with the video and trying to make
it seem like he did something wrong,

then you're doubting my man business
-wise. At the same time, Todd was in

talking about me to Peter.

So it's like you can't have it both
ways. He can't sit around and talk about

to everybody and run around town. Oh,
she didn't do this. I hope I get my
