so here's the challenge.

The goal is to get
your tire across

to the other side
as quickly as possible.

Brian and Alexis, I'm sorry,
but your nightmare ends tonight.

I just think that people
are playing like, a persona

and, like,
they're faking who they are.

So Kolbie and Josh,

there's something about
them I just don't trust.

It's just too much
going on with them two.

Josh and Dujuan are both people

that I'm kind of
keeping my eyes on.

I'm suspicious about Makayla.

I definitely think Julia
has, like, this sweet,

innocent, empathetic
side of her,

but I think that's, like,
part of her persona as well.

I think this whole thing's
a huge sociological experience.

Clearly, there are
a bunch of people here

who are getting killed off,

and I'm just trying to decipher
what's real and what's not.

Going in the next challenge,
I'm a little nervous.

Like, I feel like we felt like
we were all safe,

and now tensions are kind
of getting high.

We're in the middle of
the woods.

There's some...
No, this is a grave site.

All I see is coffins
and dirt and crosses everywhere,

and I'm kind of like
a little bit of a panic mode

because I have
no idea what's going to happen.

Why is there altars
up there, too?

Oh, my God.

- Why's the bus leaving?
- Where's the bus going?

Well,
this is just perfect.

I honestly feel like I'm on
the magic school bus from hell,

and knowing that I'm
stranded in front of these

creepy, eerie graves
with all these crosses, like,

at this point,
I am just bracing for impact

about what's about
to cross our path.

So what do y'all think the next
challenge is going to be?

I feel like we're going to get
buried inside of these coffins.

- Wait a minute.
- Oh, wait. Here comes...

Good evening, everybody.

So, it looks like you found
yourself back in the forest.

- Yep.
- Yep.

Evidently, the urban legend
challenge from earlier

must have awakened something
in the woods.

Something ancient,
something evil.

A lady out in the woods at night
during the Civil War time,

they were, like, fleeing their
home, and as she was running,

she got to a river, and she swam
the river, and the baby drowned.

Oh, hell no.

The woman was
never found, right?

People go out into
the woods at night,

and it's like
they can hear a baby crying.

That's crazy.

According
to the urban legend,

this cemetery is where
the baby was buried.

- I knew it.
- Oh my God.

And as you can see,
the graves have been dug up,

and this cemetery
has been desecrated.

So the next challenge is going
to put you in grave danger.

This challenge has two parts.

First, I'm going to pair you
in three teams of two.

Makayla, you're going
to be paired with Kolbie.

I'm glad Makayla's my partner,

because she's really
competitive.

I'm the fastest,
so that's a great combination.

We're going to win, of course.

Next, Julia, you're going
to be paired with Josh.

Oh, fuck.

So I'm definitely worried
about Josh and Julia.

I feel like she's
a little bit scared out here.

And Josh is just slow.
He walks slow. He talks slow.

And I think it's definitely
going to put them on the bottom.

So that means, finally,

Bradi and Dujuan,
you're our last team.

Bradi's my partner
for this challenge.

And at first,
I'm kind of nervous about that,

because she gives off that
kind of ditzy blonde vibe,

but she may
actually be a competitor.

So each teammate's going to

have a different role to play
in this challenge.

To decide who's going
to do what,

we're going to draw bones.

So Dujuan and Bradi,
you're going to pull first.

What's with me going first
on everything?

I know. How does that work out?

All right.

All right, just grab one.
OK, long bone.

- Oh, just my luck.
- Short bone. OK, you're next.

- Can't even feel anything.
- Short bone.

Long bone. Next, Josh.

Short bone.

Long bone.

So everybody that
pulled a short bone,

stay here with me.

Everyone that
pulled a long bone,

head up to the ceremonial altars
and I'll talk to you in a bit.

Oh, my gosh.

This is crazy.

I don't know,

but I feel like it's, like,
short end of the stick.

I feel like they're going
to, like...

- Get buried?

Yeah, I think having
the long end's the better end.

Dujuan!

So I'm actually glad
that Bradi's in the coffin

and I'm not,
because sometimes I think she

doesn't give everything
that she's capable of.

Like, I'm not sure
how fast she is.

And I really feel like I'm going

to be the one that pulls us
through this challenge.

I feel like
Dujuan is someone

who, like, thinks he's, like,
the main character,

but it's more so giving, like,
background character.

I don't know, I think that
a lot of people underestimate me

and just think that I'm, like,
this ditzy sorority girl.

So I hope I can prove
them wrong.

OK, so everybody
that pulled a short bone,

in order to get going
with this challenge,

the first part of it, of course,
is each one of you

has to crawl inside
one of these very small,

claustrophobic coffins, which
may already have an occupant.

Once your coffin is shut,
you'll be locked in alone,

pitch black, until your partner
comes and rescues you.

Unfortunately, I pulled the
short end of the bone,

and for me, that means I'm going
to have to be six feet under.

So, Makayla,
why don't you come on over here?

I go into, like, pure panic
because I don't know

if I'm going to be buried alive
or what is going to happen.

Yeah, there you go.

So I think this may be
the one thing that, like,

actually is going to
scare me to death.

Josh, this is your new home.

I pulled the short bone,
which means

I'm going to have to
get up in that coffin.

Ooh, let's see here.

I'm afraid of enclosures
and stuff like that.

Even the bus
has been driving me crazy.

Jesus Christ!
There's a body in here.

Lo and behold, I'm sharing
the coffin with a corpse.

Jesus.

Her name's Francine, and we're
in for a long night together.

That right there is disgusting.

And Bradi, come on over.

Stepping into this coffin
is super scary.

Oh my God!

What the actual fuck?

And it's really sinking in what
this is really going to entail.

Oh, my God. This is so gross!

I'm in
a confined space.

I have no idea
what's going on around me.

And I can't really be observant.

Jesus!

I didn't expect so much dirt
to be falling on my face.

It feels eerily natural.

We're all just, like, one step
away from a grave, aren't we?

This is just an overall

horrifying and uncomfortable
experience.

I'm going to have to
just tough it out

in the coffin for as it
long as it takes

for Dujuan to do his part
of the challenge.

Big breaths, big breaths,
big breaths.

It's going to be OK.
It's going to be OK.

So anybody
worried about their teammate?

- Yes.
- Yeah.

Your teammates are trapped
in coffins in the cemetery.

Oh, my God.

But before you
can go looking for them,

you have to dig through
a burial plot and find 17 bones

that are going to help you
build a skeleton.

- This is a puzzle challenge.
- Oh, man.

Once you've found all
your bones,

you can search the coffins
in the cemetery

and release your partner.

As soon as you've located
and freed your partner,

then you guys are going
to come back up here

to these altars and start
assembling your skeletons.

Once you've finished
assembling your skeleton,

you've got to wrap it in muslin,
run back down there,

and drop it in the coffin
where you found your partner.

Once you've returned your
skeleton to its resting place

and slammed the lid,
you've finished the challenge.

Now remember, this is a race,

so the slowest team
is going to go home tonight.

I need to win this competition
because I don't want to go home.

I want to make sure
me and Makayla win.

We're not just gonna be safe.
We're going to get first.

I did not
come here to lose,

and I did not come here to quit.

I am going
to win this challenge,

and I'm going
to win this competition.

I'm in a coffin.

My partner has to go
collect 17 bones

before I can get out of here,

and then we have to build
a full-body skeleton,

wrap him up,
and put him back in the coffin.

I just really
don't like small spaces.

- You guys ready?

And the challenge starts now.

Something's going on.

Why do I have to be
the one that's in here?

This dirt is hard as hell.

Digging through the dirt to find
the bones hurts my fingers.

I thought I was a genius
by taking off my gloves

so I could feel the bones,

but really it's just making
my fingernails rip backwards,

and it's making it feel like
my fingernails are peeling off.

I just have to ignore the pain,

because I know
I've got to find 17 bones.

I don't have time to be like,

"My fingers hurt"
when there's bones to find.

There's one.

Two.

I'm stressed because I'm like,
"I need to find all these bones

because we need
to win this challenge."

Kolbie,
get me out of here!

All I'm thinking about
is getting the bones,

because the longer I take,

the longer Makayla's
stuck in the coffin.

Josh saved me earlier, so I want
to save him in this challenge.

It smells like dirt. Fresh dirt.

While I'm digging
through this dirt,

I honestly forgot that
Bradi was even in a coffin.

Just close your eyes

I start digging
with my feet because

I'm going to get these bones
if it is the last thing I do.

I'm really struggling
to put the bones in the bag.

Everything keeps catching
on this damn burlap sack.

It's making my heart go
even faster, like, panicking,

like, I'm not going to be able
to do this in time

because I can't put
the bones in the sack.

I think I'm losing air.

Stay calm, stay calm, stay calm.

Ten more, ten more.

You're OK, Makayla. Fuck!

Let's go.

What the fuck?

Julia finished really fast,

and I was like,
"How did she do that?"

Oh, God. Oh, God. Oh thank God!

Let's go, let's go!

Julia opens up my coffin,
and it feels like

the light of heaven has shone
down upon me once again,

and I've been resurrected
much like the phoenix,

back to take on victory.

Let's go,
fast, fast, fast.

While I'm in the
coffin, I just hear,

"Julia's done,"
so then I freak out immediately,

because I'm like, "Oh my God,

Kolbie hasn't opened my coffin
yet. He hasn't gotten me out.

We're going
to lose this challenge."

How did they find them already?

Seeing Julia
and Josh run past me,

I finally realized, "I do have
to go to get Bradi after this,

so I need to hurry up."

Oh, my God.

Good job.

At this point, I realize

that Julia and I
are ahead of everybody,

and that feels platinum, baby.

I need
my fucking inhaler.

What the heck?

All right, got them.

So, Kolbie opened my coffin,
and I was like, "Yes, I'm good,"

and then I see him,

and I'm like, "Oh, OK,
we're still going. OK, cool."

This is literally
my version of hell.

When the coffin opens,
I feel like it's, like,

a little bit of relief,
and I, like,

immediately jump
out of the coffin,

and I'm like, "Kolbie,
let's go. We have to run."

Let's go, let's go,
let's go, let's go.

The clock is ticking,
the pressure's rising,

and we definitely have
to get this done.

Someone's going home tonight,
but I don't need it to be me.

Come on, we
gotta fucking hurry up.

Connect them,

The hardest part
about assembling the skeleton

was the little tiny beams

that are going
into little tiny squares.

And it's like
putting together

the worst furniture
in your entire life.

They just don't fit.

I don't think I have
an advantage being a nurse.

I don't put bones together.

I don't put
body pieces together.

Like, that is not my job.

There's no way that I'm gonna

I have to get Bradi
out of the coffin.

We have to
get this skeleton put together.

my coffin does finally open,
and I'm ready to go.

I'm ready to book it.

We are in last place,
but I know we're still in this.

We just need
to put our heads down,

lock in, and get this done.

So Dujuan and Bradi
get up the hill,

and Josh and Julia are
flying through the skeleton,

putting it together.

I go into a little bit
of panic mode as well,

because I want to be first
down there and first to win,

and we, like, we cannot
afford to lose this.

This is
very nerve-wracking.

Just slow down
a little bit. Line it up.

Oh my God. I don't know
how a skeleton goes.

It's just a rush.
Everything's a rush right now.

Like, I, ah,
my mind is just spiraling.

All right. There's one. Match
them. Match them, match them.

So Bradi,
she's standing up,

she's being a leader
in the moment.

She's trying to help me
calm my nerves.

She's trying to keep me focused,
and I appreciate that.

- Stop stressing.
- OK, go, go, go, go.

There we go. Go, go, go.

When Josh and Julia
walk by, I'm like, "Darn," like,

we're still trying to connect
a hand to a leg bone,

and they're walking past us
with a skeleton.

Essentially,
now it's a 50-50 chance,

so I just need to
put my head down,

lock in,
and get this skeleton together.

- Don't stress.
- OK.

Where's
the other hand, though?

Did you forget it?

No,
I think it's in the bag.

Kolbie!

I'm gonna
go look for the hand.

Oh, god.

- I forgot the damn hand.
- Go get it, go get it.

I'm sprinting down the hill,
panicking,

thinking that I just
lost the challenge,

and I'm gonna
send both of us home

because I can't count to 17.

They left one.
OK, we're good, we're good.

Seeing Kolbie run back down
to grab another bone

is giving me a glimmer of hope.

Fuck.

To be honest with you,

I thought I was gonna die
a long, long time ago.

But here I am,
making my way through the night.

Julia?

- Josh, come on.
- Did you feel that?

Makayla, do you see
that there?

No.

So much pressure now
because it's just me and Makayla

against Dujuan and Bradi,
and now I can't find the hand.

Fuck, man.

I kind of start to panic,
because I don't know

if Kolbie's gonna
make it in time,

and I feel like we're about
to lose this challenge.

OK, we're almost there.
Get that in.

Oh, here it is.

We gotta hurry.

I know we do.
Don't stress.

because of that careless error.

But, like I said earlier,

two people need
to go home tonight.

Dujuan, Bradi, I'm sad to say

that you two had
the slowest time,

and therefore, you've been
eliminated from the competition.

Your nightmare ends tonight.

I came into this competition
with the goal of winning.

That is the mentality
I have through life,

is that winning mentality.

And unfortunately, it didn't
pay off how I wanted it to,

but I'm just so
grateful and blessed

to have this crazy adventure and
opportunity that I can remember

and cherish
for the rest of my life.

And I wouldn't change
anything for the world,

besides maybe a new car,
but I digress.

I was always picked last in gym,
so this is like, shocking.

I feel absolutely amazing
that I'm one step closer

to winning this car, possibly
winning this whole entire game,

and just
beating everyone out of it.

This show is fun,
but it gives me the creeps.

And it feels fantastic
to being one step closer

to winning this competition
and out of this damn nightmare.

One of the most exciting things
about shooting a show like this

is you have to anticipate
and account for everything

and anything that could happen.

Watching Kolbie run away knowing
that there was a skeletal hand

in the dirt that he
had left behind.

We all jumped up and down
because we were like,

"Oh, my God,
he's not going to finish."

And then at the end
to have Dujuan

also leave a piece
behind and miscount,

that was something
that when we were

designing this challenge
and this episode

that we hadn't taken
into account.

And then, of course,
it took a little bit of time

to get the bones
put back together.

And sadly, Bradi and Dujuan
were eliminated.

So now we're
at a point where it's

Kolbie, Makayla,
Josh, and Julia.

And the four of them
are about to embark

on probably
the scariest challenge yet.

All right,
guys, let's get moving!

The only way
to escape the barn

is to translate the symbols
written on the doors.
