chasing bands of southern renegade

soldiers given to raiding and pilfering.

Just such a ban was led by a ruthless

and hated man called Machedo.

His real name was never known.

One of the most feared adversaries of

these renegades was Captain Jeff

Madison.

ain't finished. The more of them you

kill, the more show up. Four lousy years

and my throat so full of anger and dust
