(Episode 97)

Gang Hee.

Gosh.

Wake up.

Five more minutes.

No. Wake up.

Come on! Stop it. Five minutes.

Hurry up! Come out!

Move it!

Why does it stink so badly in there?

What did you eat?

Come on now.

Look. If you give me three days,

I can even find ghosts.

My gosh.

I'm Ma Dong Sook. Ma Dong Sook.

It looked like you were working all night yesterday too.

Don't work yourself thin.

There are so many clothes I need to make.

My gosh. Hey. Hey.

Drink some water and eat slowly.

Dad. I'll be working late every night for a while.

Working late?

Se Yun.

Home is where you can rest when you're tired,

and Dad is the person you can lean on. You know that, right?

I do, of course.

Eat slowly and finish them all.

They don't look like much,

but there's abalone and ginseng inside.

Eat up.

(Master of Sales)

Se Yun.

Jae Joon.

When did you get here?

You should've called.

What brings you here anyway?

You're going to the shops today.

I wanted to help you since it's your first day.

Sales isn't easy.

I've been studying.

Hey...

"Master of sales, know-how for striking it rich."

How's Jae Young doing?

She moved out only three days ago,

but the family misses her a lot.

She says she'll go this weekend.

She misses Woong, your dad, and everyone.

You'll come with her, right?

No one in my family...

is still upset about the commitment ceremony.

Come comfortably as Jae Young's brother.

I will.

Soo Ran.

Rest in peace.

Don't worry about Se Yun.

How could you eat right now?

Why not?

Why hasn't the bank president said anything yet?

I'm sure he's stressing over it.

It's not that easy.

Get an answer...

from the bank president by the end of the day!

Darn it.

This right here has nice small details.

How about this one?

What do you think? I designed...

and made them all myself.

The designs are nice, and so are the material.

But it's kind of pricey.

The items we sell are very low priced.

I'll think it over. Leave me your number.

Okay. Thank you for your time.

I really hope our garments...

will be sold at this shop.

It's because your hangers are the nicest I've seen.

The hangers are nice?

You need good hangers...

if you want to keep the nice clothes for a long time.

If you're willing to spend the money...

on expensive silicone hangers for the garments,

I'm sure you love clothes...

and have a great eye for them.

Okay, then. Have a nice day.

Let's go.

Hold on.

How many pieces do you have of the designs you showed me?

What colors do they come in?

You have a knack for sales.

You really surprised me.

It's thanks to the know-how I read in the book.

Detailed, but not excessive compliments...

move the heart of the customer.

Jae Joon. Pay me a compliment too.

You have the prettiest smile in the whole world.

When you smile because you're happy, you make me smile too.

You can smile even through sadness and hardship.

That makes you look cool and amazing.

I should buy that book too.

It's super effective.

It's Mr. Ma.

I looked for incidents when Chairman Eun Gi Tae...

used a seal with an umbilical cord inside when he was alive,

and I couldn't find anything.

Did you check banks, real estate transactions,

and stockholders' lists?

None. I even checked internationally just in case,

but there was nothing.

Then what do you think Myung Hwan meant?

He said the seal would hurt me.

Perhaps he didn't use it himself but entered into...

a contract or transaction...

where it's necessary.

Okay.

You still haven't decided?

I can't believe that the seal with the umbilical cord...

to open the safe deposit box no longer exists.

If I open the safe deposit box for you,

and his granddaughter shows up with the seal...

later on...

You are such a doubter.

As you know,

Chairman Eun Gi Tae had two granddaughters.

Eun Gyung Hye and Hong Se Yun.

Gyung Hye has the real seal,

and she crushed it.

That leaves Se Yun, but she has a fake seal.

Thus, the safe deposit box will not open.

I must be sure.

If I show you that it's true, open it for me...

as promised.

Give me the contents,

and close it back up quietly.

No one will ever know that it was opened...

other than the two of us.

Nothing will happen.

Once I confirm that Hong Se Yun...

does not have the real seal,

I'll do it.

We must prove that Se Yun doesn't have the real seal...

for him to open it.

The only way...

is to make Se Yun take that fake seal to the bank...

if we want to open the safe deposit box.

Myung Hwan. Why are you here?

- Gyung Hye. - I'll explain.

Wait. Tell me.

What did you threaten my daughter with this time?

I didn't threaten her.

She asked me to stay with her.

I had no reason to refuse.

Ms. Geum. I mean, Mother.

Gyung Hye tells me...

you lied that those gangsters were hunting me...

to lock me up in that room.

How could you do that to someone who was once your son-in-law?

Since you paid back the loan shark for me,

I'll be generous and understanding,

and let it slide.

But watch yourself.

Gyung Hye.

I'll take my things and move into a hotel,

so you come to me yourself if you need my help.

How could you release him?

You even lied to me that he left for New Zealand...

while I was at the temple! Why?

It was because of Se Yun. She...

How long will you blame Se Yun?

You know too...

that the problem isn't Se Yun, but you are!

You need to stop blaming me.

You only hate me, and I'm the only bad...

and pathetic one, right? How long will you be that way?

I'll take care of Myung Hwan,

so stay out of it.

Why did you release Myung Hwan?

Tell me the truth.

We already got his written confession.

With that, I can be freed from blame...

for shooting him in the head.

I decided no good would come of keeping him...

locked up and antagonizing him.

Is that all?

What do you suspect me of doing?

I'm tired. Please leave.

I'm working late tonight too.

Se Yun.

- What? - I know you're not working...

at the company.

How...

did you find out?

I went to see you at the office before...

and heard from your colleague.

I wanted to wait until you told me yourself,

but I'm too worried not to say anything.

Dad. Don't worry.

I won't lose to Gyung Hye like this.

I'll return to the company.

I will reclaim Grandpa's company.

Where are you going...

all day and night...

in this hot weather?

I'm...

selling clothes that I make.

I'll prove my skills...

and return to the company on my own merit.

So don't worry...

and cheer me on. Okay?

- See you later. - Okay.

My gosh. My poor baby.

She must be heartbroken about her mom's death.

And she had everything taken from her,

but she's worried about her loser dad,

and can't show any of it.

Did she tell her daughter or not?

Why is Se Yun still doing that?

Even if I break even,

I just need customers who want my clothes.

Let's hit four more shops.

Ma'am.

Sorry? You want to cancel the order?

But why?

Hello?

What's going on?

She really liked them.

I'll have to go ask in person.

Here. Eat.

Se Yun.

Did Gyung Hye give you the items...

your grandfather left you?

Yes.

I got the seal with my dad's umbilical cord inside.

I see.

But Mom,

Myung Hwan...

came to see me about that seal.

- What? - He said...

Gyung Hye gave it to me with bad intentions,

and said all sorts of nasty things.

I'll make sure he never bugs you again.

I'll break both his legs if necessary...

to make sure he...

Saying you'll break his legs...

isn't like you at all.

I will do it, though.

It's delicious. You eat too.

- Se Yun. - Don't worry.

What's this?

(Bareun Bank, Bank President Koo Ji Ho)

Grandpa left you something else.

Bring the seal...

to that bank and claim it.

Then you can collect what he left you.

Why didn't you tell me that when you gave me the seal?

You should be grateful that I'm telling you at all.

Gyung Hye.

My mom was very happy...

thanks to the seal you gave me.

I can't get myself to thank you for giving it to me,

but I really wanted to tell you that.

Is it true that Chairman Eun Gi Tae bought a safe deposit box...

at Bareun Bank with instructions for after his death?

It is.

Did you find out the terms of the contract?

What Eun Gyung Hye said was true.

It says to open the safe deposit box to his granddaughter...

whose DNA matches that of his son's umbilical cord.

I couldn't find it when I looked...

because it was a contract for a safe deposit box.

So Gyung Hye told me the truth.

It's a private safe,

so its contents weren't made public,

but there are rumors...

that it has gold, cash, land, or some other great fortune.

If you inherit that...

Look. If by chance...

you buy a big house and move,

you have to take me with you, okay?

But I won't charge you for this matter. Okay?

Why did Gyung Hye give you the seal voluntarily...

and even tell you about the bank?

Her motives are suspicious,

but I think we should go to the bank...

with the seal.

I agree.

Okay. Thank you.

Se Yun brought the fake seal to the bank...

and requested a DNA test.

The result will be out tomorrow.

Once he confirms that even Se Yun isn't authorized...

to open the safe deposit box,

the bank president will give it to us.

Then...

take all of its contents...

and leave Korea as promised.

Answer me.

Once I get the money, I will.

Trust me.

You have no other choice.

You have no one else...

on your side.

Gyung Hye.

I really pity you.

- Dad - Hey. You're home.

You must be tired.

Woong is sleeping with Gang Hee.

What's wrong? Did something happen?

Sun Hee.

You know, Se Yun...

Never mind.

What about Se Yun?

Dad. Se Yun is being strong and pulling through.

Don't worry too much.

She's just doing that so that we don't worry,

but I'm sure she's hurting inside.

How could she be okay...

after her mother passed away?

So,

I want to cheer her up.

I know we can't do anything grand,

but I thought we could change up the mood here,

put up new wallpaper, and clean...

her workroom or something.

Sure.

I've been wondering what we could do for her.

I'll tell Gang Hee and Chul Soo...

to take the day off tomorrow, and we'll do it together.

So please, stop drinking...

and go to sleep. Okay?

Okay. You should go in and rest.

I'll go in after I see...

Se Yun come home.

Speed it up. Come on.

Stop being so lazy, and speed it up.

At this rate, we won't finish before she gets home.

How many times must you repeat yourself?

Your nagging is annoying.

- Why you... - What if Se Yun is so surprised...

that she faints?

Don't be stupid. She's a tough girl.

She wouldn't faint.

Right? I forgot. Let's make it nice and clean...

and make her happy.

- Don't just talk, move! Move! - Okay.

I'm not a drum. Stop hitting me!

- Dad. You're so thorough. - All done.

- Lift it up. And flip. - This is good.

Okay. Line it up.

Push it up.

- Line it up. - Line it up.

Ms. Hong! Sun! I'm here!

Is that Ms. Eun?

Is anyone home?

Ms. Hong!

Ms. Eun. What brings you by?

Hello. Ms. Hong tells me...

you're fixing up Se Yun's workshop today.

Se Yun is my only blood relative that I have.

I had to...

come and do my part.

You're all talk.

You should've come earlier and helped out.

You come when we're done and give lip service.

What about my store?

I had to work all by myself because Ms. Hong took the day off.

And it isn't just lip service.

I brought this.

With just two pizza pies?

You're terrible.

Sook. You can still help.

Since you came late, you can collect the garbage.

No. I can't collect garbage dressed like this.

Yes, you totally can.

- Come on. - Don't...

- Come in. - No!

- No! - Let's just do it ourselves.

- No! - Let's do it ourselves.

(Bareun Bank)

The DNA test result is out.

Can I open the safe deposit box now?

No. The DNA of the umbilical cord...

and your DNA are not a match.

What? What do you mean?

That can't be.

(Eun Min Soo and Hong Se Yun are not biologically related.)

This umbilical cord isn't human.

Naturally, its DNA doesn't match yours.

It isn't human?

You can see from the test result,

but it's from an animal.

I can't open the safe deposit box...

for you.

Is this test result correct?

If you don't trust it,

feel free to take it to another lab.

How could...

a human being do this to another human being?

Se Yun.

My mom held that seal,

calling out to my dad.

Until the moment she passed away,

she cherished it...

and called it...

I'm so angry.

I'm so angry, I'm losing my mind.

I feel like my entire body is about to explode.

How could she do that...

to my mom who was dying?

She is a disgusting monster!

Calm down.

I'm worried you might collapse.

The bank called.

The bank president says he'll open the safe deposit box.

Se Yun must know the seal is a fake.

She thought it was her dad's umbilical cord,

but found out it was a dog's.

Se Yun must be livid.

What? You put in an animal's umbilical cord?

I had to make it quickly, so I couldn't get a human's.

What? Is that a problem?

Are you worried about Se Yun being surprised?

Worry about yourself.

If you don't want to lose to Se Yun, up the security...

for both the house and the company.

It tastes extra delicious after doing hard labor.

Like you did any labor.

All you did was lie here...

and snore as you slept.

We did all the work.

Hey! It's hard work, sleeping in this heat.

Why is everyone picking on me?

Whether you're tired from working or from the heat,

eat up and replenish your energy.

Sook! Stay until Se Yun comes and join us for dinner.

- Yes. - Should I?

- Se Yun! - Hi, Se Yun.

Come and eat with us.

Why is everyone...

- Se Yun! - Se Yun!

- Se Yun! - Se Yun! What's wrong?

- Se Yun! - Take her to the hospital!

- Oh my gosh. - Let's go.

Please come with me.

The camera will shut off...

for 30 minutes.

Empty the box during that time.

I'll open it.

Go ahead.

(Mysterious Personal Shopper)

This company...

will be reborn as Eun Gyung Hye's Winners.

The contents of the box is mine, remember?

What do you mean?

Se Yun left the company? Why?

The Eunsong designs are being highly praised.

Why don't you postpone the succeeding project?

Are you stopping Se Yun as I ordered?

Sorry, Mom. I won't be suckered again.

I'll get stronger.
