I would have sold my soul at that point.

That's how bad I was.

I had been sober for a month and...

Gradually, I had a little glass of wine here, a glass of wine there, and then

having this lawsuit with my kids, I just, you know, it was the straw that

the camel's back.

I had polished off two bottles of rosé, and that still wasn't enough.

Enough was enough.

We called the attorneys.

I got power of attorney.

Bethany blocked calls.

We blocked emails.

And that was it. It was the amazing power of women that were at that table.

remember sitting at your dining room table. I'm glad you remember. I don't

remember a damn thing.

If Luann refused to get help, we were literally going to strap her down, put

in a car, and bring her to rehab. She had no choice.

I owe you for the rest of my life. That's the thing, you don't.

That's what friends are for.

You know what, when one member of the team is down, the whole team is down. I

had to relearn in rehab the second time around that alcohol is a power greater

than me.

So let's settle this party thing, your party, once and for all, so we know what

Unless Dorinda comes from a place of a loving heart and one that, you know,

There's no way Lou Anne had begun to touch on the deep emotional problems

And let's just be in the moment. I got it. But when did she go? She went August

16th. So that's not 55 days. We didn't talk about any of that. No, but it's

for 55 days. We were being supportive of Luann and her mood. She went in August

16th. That's when she had her thank you. The mood of the dinner was about not

dissecting Luann and her recovery, but supporting her mood and not taking her

off the rails.

If any trigger is going to cause Luann to fall off the wagon, then she probably

shouldn't be doing cabarets late night around booze and all this kind of thing.

doing fine. She seems very confident.
