I had polished off two bottles of rosé,
and that still wasn't enough.

Enough was enough.

We called the attorneys.

I got power of attorney.

Bethany blocked calls.

We blocked emails.

And that was it. It was the amazing
power of women that were at that table.

remember sitting at your dining room
table. I'm glad you remember. I don't

remember a damn thing.

If Luann refused to get help, we were
literally going to strap her down, put

in a car, and bring her to rehab. She
had no choice.

had to relearn in rehab the second time
