global warming.

There is mounting evidence that our
actions are influencing more dramatic

weather changes and in places never
thought imaginable.

The longer we deny this, the more we

basically a tornado that occurs over

water. Now, tornadoes are rare in this

cause tornadoes?

Well, like the one now, it contains very
strong thunderstorms, and the cycle

usually begins with a rotating updraft,
and this almost never happens in the

Pacific Northwest.

So this wasn't a one -time occurrence, a
freak?

I don't think so. Based on my research,
I'm afraid it's only the beginning.

Though we can't expect an official
report from the weather agency just yet,

devastation we've seen in Mount Auburn
is almost certainly due to a massive

Category 4 twister.

That would represent the third touchdown
in the greater Seattle area within the

past week, an area that has not had a
confirmed twister of that magnitude in

recorded history.

With the current storm cell looming over
us, the likelihood of another funnel

cloud forming is almost certain.

If and when you should see a funnel
cloud, the best thing you can do is stay

indoors.

Go into a basement or cellar if you have
one. Otherwise, stay away from windows

and anything that could break away,
causing further damage and is extremely

wind. And these weather changes, are
they trackable?

No, I'm afraid not. That's what makes
tornadoes so dangerous.

It's impossible to predict exactly where
they will test down.

We're looking at tornado warnings from
average to the north and south to Maple

Valley, with special concern in the
Shiloh Hills and Blue Hills area.

And we can only expect it to worsen
until the storm cells dissipate.
