we still average eight
to 16 players a year

dead each year nationwide.

That means there's a one in
100,000 chance that a player

will die during his playing
of high school football.

Just think about car
wrecks, addiction, alcohol,

think about those numbers.

Way higher.

Of all youth sports, one
player dies every three days.

Does that mean that one in
100,000 football coaches

should be tried for murder?

I don't think so.

What happened to Benny
was a freak accident.

An accident.

We should simply
have more awareness

of why these things happen.
