much Emma meant to everybody.

>> Donna: She was just so young,

Such a tragic accident.

>> Tiffany: I just can't believe

she's gone.

She's gone way too soon.

>> Xander: What if it wasn't an

accident, Zoe?

about Emma and her family, not

gonna do without her baby girl.

dream of Emma's.

I stopped by Emma's memorial at

Forrester.

It's been a while.

Why did you want to see me?

>> Brooke: Emma had so much

energy and enthusiasm.

She knew everything there was to

know about Hope's collection.

>> Ridge: If you needed someone

to jump in, she was right there

to help.

>> Justin: She loved working

here, and she was devoted to

Hope.

>> Hope: I'm so sorry, Tiffany.

I know she was your best friend.

>> Tiffany: She was always there

for me, encouraging me...

cheering me up.

>> Hope: Well, that was Emma.

No matter what was going on, she

always knew the exact thing to

say to make everything better.

>> Emma: This ends tonight.

I'm telling Hope, and there's

nothing you can do to stop me.

>> Thomas: Come on, Emma.

[ Horn honks ]

I need to talk to you!

[ Breathing heavily ]

You're not gonna tell Hope.

[ Horn honks ]

[ Tires screeching ]

[ Crash ]

>> Xander: Thomas.

I think we need to talk.

>> Thomas: I thought I told you

there is nothing left to talk

about.

None of you need to worry, okay?

The secret's safe.

Emma didn't say anything.

>> Flo: Emma is dead, Thomas.

>> Zoe: And only the four of us

know why.

>> Xander: Or do we?

>> Wyatt: Look, you -- you

weren't the only person who was

taken in by Thomas.

>> Sally: I was just trying to

show that there was no hard

feelings.

I was trying to be the bigger

person, you know?

But then he told me his plan,

after blindly swearing me to

secrecy.

>> Wyatt: We all want to do the

right thing.

>> Sally: Like you did with

Flo -- helping her find her dad,

making her feel comfortable in

her new home.

>> Wyatt: [ Sighs ]

>> Sally: You know I see Flo

around the office.

>> Wyatt: Yeah, I know, and I

told you that we would be

dating.

>> Sally: Which wasn't totally

awkward or anything.

Look, I get it, though, okay?

As hard as it was to hear, I

know why you had to do it.

All your mom talks about is how

Flo is this perfect woman for

you, how you guys were in love

all these years ago and you have

this...history.

But, you know, you and I have

some of that, too, Wyatt.

Some of my happiest memories are

of us right here in this house.

>> Wyatt: Me, too!

>> Sally: [ Sighs ]

Then can you forgive me...

so maybe we can make some more?

[ Sighs ]

[ Sighs heavily ]

Look, I know that you and I had

never made an official

commitment, but we did...

talk about the future.

>> Wyatt: Right, which that's --

that's what I-I wanted to talk

to you about, is, uh, our --

our future.

Sally, despite everything that

happened, I-I still really care

about you.

while we were apart, things...

changed.

>> Sally: With you and Flo.

>> Wyatt: [ Sighs ] Sally, I --

So, that's it, huh?

>> Quinn: She had a million

questions.

I'd answer one, and she'd have

three more.

>> Eric: Her curiosity and her

confidence were infectious.

>> Ridge: Well, that was Emma.

>> Steffy: Yeah.

She was never afraid to say

exactly what she thought.

If she had an idea or wanted to

improve something, she stuck her

neck out.

>> Donna: All while wanting

what's best for Forrester and

Hope's line.

>> Tiffany: She looked after all

the new interns.

She made sure we understood how

important our jobs were.

>> Pam: Oh, sweetheart.

It's okay. It's okay.

>> Tiffany: [ Sobbing ]

>> Xander: Meeting Emma was a-a

breath of fresh air...

or, more accurately, I guess,

a-a slap in the face.

[ Chuckles softly ]

I think what I'll miss most

about her is, um...

if -- if Emma saw a problem, she

wouldn't think twice.

She'd just...

jump right in...

and try and solve it.

>> Hope: Emma was so...

enthusiastic and kind.

>> Brooke: She really looked up

to you, sweetheart.

>> Hope: I was lucky to know her

and to call her my friend.

>> Xander: She was one of the

first people I met when I got to

L.A.

Just, um...

>> Flo: Yeah.

She's gone far too soon.

>> Justin: I was so proud of the

work she was doing...

how much she was learning...

the satisfaction is was giving

her.

These were the best days of her

lives, working here.

I promised her sister that I'd

look after her.

How could this happen?

>> Bill: This wasn't your fault,

It was a freak thing.

It doesn't make any sense.

>> Zoe: Look, uh, I know I

wasn't always the, uh, best

person to Emma, but I really did

grow to respect her.

We're just all really sorry for

your loss.

You know, it was a terrible

accident.

>> Justin: The police haven't

made an official ruling yet.

>> Flo: So, they don't know what

happened that night?

>> Justin: They found something

at the crash site that might

actually explain why we lost

Emma so tragically.

>> Xander: The police found

evidence at the scene?

>> Justin: Emma's cellphone.

Apparently, she was writing a

text.

She hadn't sent it yet.

>> Flo: And it was still on her

phone?

>> Justin: Police are uncertain.

They can't rule out that texting

and driving may have been the

cause of Emma's crash.

She was actually texting you,

Hope.

>> Hope: Me?

>> Justin: She wanted you to

know that she was on her way.

>> Hope: She was coming to see

me?

>> Justin: She was almost there.

Things would have been so

different had she made it.

>> Bill: You could use a drink.

I'm gonna go find Eric.

I'm sure he's got some scotch

stashed here somewhere.

>> Justin: Yeah.

>> Bill: All right?

>> Flo: Emma was going to Hope.

She was too good to keep the

secret.

>> Xander: She was better than

all of us.

>> Thomas: Justin.

>> Justin: Hey, Thomas.

>> Thomas: I just...want to say,

uh...I'm sorry for your loss.

>> Justin: I appreciate that.

>> Thomas: Yeah. I didn't know

her very long, but, uh...

she made a significant impact on

my life --

bigger than I can explain.

She won't be forgotten.

It's a shame.

She didn't deserve this.

What happened is just,

terrible, terrible accident.

>> Sally: I thought that I would

be more prepared when the thing

that I was dreading actually...

happened.

>> Wyatt: I-I-I get if you're

that you're wrong and you can't

just go start over with Flo and

that you have no right.

But I'm the one who messed up.

You know, I'm the one who

betrayed your trust, and when

things got tense, I moved out.

I was hoping that maybe some

space would be a good thing.

I was hoping that maybe...

[Voice breaking] just maybe...

[Crying] you would miss me.

[ Chuckles ]

I guess that was a mistake, too.

Right? 'Cause when it comes down

to it, you and I never fully

made a commitment.

We were just keeping things

loose and fun, right?

Ugh! Why did our exes have to

come back into our lives?

different if it wasn't for

Thomas.

>> Hope: Apparently, Emma might

But then I can't see her arguing

with Thomas, either, like Pam

said.

Did you have a chance to talk to

him about that?

>> Hope: I didn't want to make a

big deal out of it.

I'm sure he already feels

terrible.

It just seems odd that Thomas

didn't, you know, bring up the

fact that he saw Emma right

before the accident.

>> Brooke: Yes, it does.

>> Thomas: Sorry. It looks like

you two are having a moment.

I can just -- I'll come back.

>> Hope: No, it's fine.

>> Thomas: How are you doing?

>> Hope: I'm sad...

and...

a little confused, actually.

Thomas, Pam brought up something

that happened the night of the

crash.

>> Brooke: You were with Emma

here in this office.

>> Hope: Why were you arguing

with her, and why didn't you

tell me you were with her right

before she died?

>> Wyatt: I'm always gonna care

about you, Sally, but you got to

understand, like --

>> Sally: No, I do.

It is always the one that got

away.

Somehow, they just...

keep coming back.

>> Wyatt: I-I had no idea Flo

was gonna show up in L.A.

>> Sally: Well, it's just my

luck.

Or maybe bad timing.

But you know what?

The joke's on you, Wyatt...

because one day you are going to

realize that I am really the one

that got away.

But just remember, there is no

perfect woman.

It wasn't me.

And it won't be Flo.

But one thing is for certain.

[ Voice breaking ] I will always

Okay, look, uh, Emma wanted to

dance at the next

Hope for the Future fashion

show.

I didn't think it was a good

idea, you know, and it didn't

really work with the designs for

the collection.

But she -- she kept pushing me

on it.

You know, uh, I didn't want to

hurt her feelings, but she

wouldn't let it go.

>> Hope: She didn't say anything

to me.

>> Thomas: She was about to.

She told me she would go over my

head.

I assume that's why she was

texting you.

I should have told you, okay?

But the night when we found out

about the crash, I...

I didn't think it was the right

time.

You know, and you're already

dealing with so much.

I thought I could get through

to her.

I thought I could handle it

myself.

>> Zoe: Xander, we should just

go.

>> Xander: Hope's in there

with him.

>> Zoe: Hope is fine.

Maybe Thomas wasn't involved in

Emma's death.

>> Brooke: Hey, Giovanni.

Yes.

I've been meaning to call you.

>> Zoe: Look...

you heard Justin.

She was texting and driving.

>> Xander: I know, and that's

awful, Zoe, but if you're

wrong...

Hope could be getting involved

with a very dangerous man.

>> Thomas: I tried to stop her

from leaving, you know.

I told her to stay.

We could talk about what she

wanted to do, but...

she, uh -- she wouldn't listen.

>> Hope: [ Crying ] Emma.

I was so grateful for her

attitude and her excitement.

She was a valuable part of this

team.

And she wasn't afraid to speak

her mind or wear her heart on

her sleeve.

And I'll never forget how much

she cared about me.

And I hope she knows that the

feeling was mutual.

[ Crying ]

I just can't believe she's gone.
