In the spring of 1988, a commuter
airplane with 95 people on board

a 20 -foot section of its top and
fuselage while flying at 24 ,000 feet

the Hawaiian Islands.

The following is a depiction of events
leading up to the incident and of the

terrifying flight that followed.

Although certain characters have been
created to ensure privacy, this film was

made with the full cooperation and
technical guidance of the crew on board.
